Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool

Wonderful staff, great communications from the nursery itself. Poor communications from Bright Horizons Head Office with a terrible system for paying fees with mistakes and poor transparency. Bright Horizons' ethos seems inflexible and not focussed on the customer. We have a better understanding of what you do with the children now with the app - this was late coming compared to other childcare establishments, but the more information we get and see about what you do with the children, the more complimentary we can be.

The great environment has helped our daughter develop and grow. We feel part of the process with regular updates and insight into how she is learning. Most importantly, she loves coming every day and seeing her teachers and friends. Would recommend to everyone who asks.

We have been so pleased with everything at the nursery, from the baby room through to preschool age. Staff are lovely, friendly and always helpful. The nursery is clean and organised with a lovely variety of activities. We couldn't be happier.

We have loved the nursery for both boys. The staff have been amazing and really care for the children. We have always felt safe, and they have been given a great start in life. We will miss not coming here anymore. Thank you.

This is an excellent nursery. My child loves coming here. She is happy and confident. She is also completely ready for school. I cannot rate this nursery highly enough.

My child has thoroughly enjoyed his time every week with his friends. He loves the staff, who are more friends. As for myself, the staff have been so lovely throughout all his time. During the wobbles of starting and changes that have occurred during our time here, they have supported and encouraged both of us all the way.

My daughter loves her time at nursery. They always take part in fun activities, and all the staff are lovely and helpful. As well as having lots of fun, she has learnt many important skills to make the transition to school easier, including sharing, teamwork and communication. All three of my children have attended this nursery, and I would definitely recommend it to other parents.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 9-months-old and starts school in September 2022. I have always felt 100% happy and comforted that she is in the best hands. I have no regrets sending my daughter here, the staff have been like an extra family to my daughter and critical to her pre-school years learning. I'm actually sad that she is off to school but confident she is fully equipped to start the next journey, she will really miss the nursery and all her friends.

My little girl loves going to nursery. She always has a smile on her face at pick up and drop off so this puts me at ease a lot, as I know she enjoys her time. The new app is a welcome addition to getting an insight into what she gets up to at nursery. Despite covid restrictions, I have found the staff approachable and it is clear they care a lot about the children. Professionalism and safeguarding are always to an exceptionally high standard. I would definitely recommend the setting to other new parents.

Fantastic nursery. Right from the beginning, the staff at Poole, Montessori have been amazing. Nothing is too much of a bother for them. Always so supportive, helpful and friendly! Very happy with their standards, such a warm and welcoming environment and the benefits are great! It is so wonderful to see my child thrive and reassuring that he is getting all the support he needs and that he is happy! Thank you to the team at Poole!

Amazing nursery. Staff are so friendly and polite. Always go above and beyond. Feel comfortable leaving our daughter with all the staff. One lady always makes sure that my child learns new things and helps with her progression. All staff are amazing. Couldn't recommend the nursery anymore.

The staff at Poole Montessori are polite, friendly and knowledgeable about my children. I am very confident that my children receive excellent care and are progressing with their learning. Both my children are excited to go to nursery each week and we are pleased to receive lots of arts and crafts from their time there. The settling in sessions were brilliant and handled sensitively.

Our daughter have been going here for three years now and we are very happy. The staff show genuine care and generally communicate well with parents. The children learn a lot and the Montessori way works really well to teach so many skills and prepares them well for school. A great nursery.

Our son has been at Poole Montessori since he was one. He settled so quickly and was always happy to go to nursery. The staff are all so friendly and nurturing. Now he is three years on, he still loves every day, and he is learning so much, making great friends and being given so many new experiences.

By placing both my children in stepping stones I feel I am giving them the best start in life. The staff are nurturing and child-led. Both my children settled very quickly and look forward to coming to nursery. I couldn't hope for more! The staff are mindful of my children's emotional well being which I particularly like.

We love this nursery they really are an extension of our family.

My daughter loves attending Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool and can't wait to see her friends and teachers. She has two fantastic preschool teachers who she talks about all the time. She has learned so much from being at the nursery and has always had fantastic key workers who tend to her individual needs. She has made such lovely special bonds with the children and they all seem to get on so well. The nursery has a lovely homely feel. I would say the only downside is the high tea as I feel that it is not enough, however the nursery are going to have a chef soon which will be fantastic.
