Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool

My daughter joined Bright Horizon nursery last September and she enjoys her days there. She is welcomed with kindness and a smile by all the staff. She has wonderful key workers and all the staff are kind, caring, professional and supportive. But I have been reassured as I see my daughter happy, she is building her confidence to be around people and communicate with everyone. She is supported with gaining independence and the staff have been very helpful with potty training. I find the nursery app very useful and I particularly enjoy the photos of her participating in the activities. The staff are very communicative on a daily basis and I feel there is a professional/ mother relationship. She also enjoys the food and there's a wide variety of food served. The management team are always very easy to access by email/ phone and always keen to help. I'm very happy of the chosen nursery and my newborn will be joining her sister in the coming September at Bright horizons too.

Children get to use the outside space as much as possible which is great. Food is fantastic variety and healthy. Opportunity to form great friendships. Staff are caring and helpful. My child has a good bond with not only her key worker but all members of staff.

Our experience with the nursery over the past years when both our children have attended has been excellent. The care and attention they have given to our son and daughter has been wonderful. We find our son has developed so much within this time here and his confidence in trying new things and new foods has blossomed.

We have two children at Bright Horizons Poole and both the children absolutely love their time at nursery. As parents we could not be more complimentary about the fantastic level of care and service that we have received over the last 4 years.

Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool is a wonderful nursery. They provide a really warm and caring environment for our children and we are very happy to have chosen it. They have helped both my children build their confidence and independence and have been really supportive through the transition to the local school. The food is excellent, varied and interesting and that’s a credit to the chef. We’ll be sad to leave the staff when my son goes to school in September.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for one year now, starting at only 9 months old when I returned to work. She absolutely loves it and often says the names of the nursery workers and her friends as she is excited to see them! We are kept up to date with her progress when she is there and she is well looked after. All the nursery staff are extremely friendly and caring. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful nursery, the staff really care about the children and their development, with lots of interesting activities for them each week. The app is also very handy, and it's lovely to see photos and very detailed updates of how your little one is getting on throughout the day.

My son has just started nursery and absolutely loves it here. All of the staff are incredibly caring and professional, my son is always excited to see them. The communication is excellent, lots of updates throughout the day on the app and I love seeing pictures of what he’s been up to.

My two children love it there. Staff are friendly and professional. The building is clean, light and welcoming. The food is devoured by my children which speaks volumes! We've had our boys there for 3.5 years total and no complaints at all.

Very professional staff and taking really good care of my son. My son is extremely happy and developed a lot since attending the nursery. All the staff are engaged and caring, getting involved in my son's development.

Lovely nursery, our child has settled in really well and staff go above and beyond. The food is really nutritious and wide variety of food. Mum is very happy with child's experience.

Great nursery with attentive staff who treat each child like family. The nursery offers a good variety of activities that focus on the children’s development as well as, pursuing individual interests. The nursery staff document the children’s day well on the app so that parents can see what their children are up to, what they have eaten, when they have napped etc. A very nurturing and home-from-home feel nursery that I would recommend.

We've been with the nursery for over two years now, with two kids in Pebbles and Stepping Stones. The team have been fantastic at every step of the journey. The level of care and the range of learning activities continue to impress us and the kids love going there.

Recently, I was impressed to see the team had set up an activity based on a specific area of interest of our son. The individual child-centred approach is excellent.

I have been incredibly impressed by Bright Horizons Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool since my little boy's first day. They have been so supportive during what I found a tricky transition from full-time parenting to part-time work. My little boy really wasn’t into eating when he started and his first day, didn’t eat a thing but the staff were always really reassuring and we’ve now got a son who won’t stop eating! My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and doesn’t stop talking about the ladies and his friends there, he does amazing activities; loads of artwork, spends every day outside, come rain or shine. I only ever have wonderful things to say about this nursery and would recommend it to anyone I speak to. It truly feels like a family. Thank you for all the work you do, you’re wonderful.

I believe that Poole Montessori provides the best start to a child’s education. My son is happy, safe and thriving in their care. The staff go above and beyond and our son loves seeing them and I know they will show love and care to him which is all any parent wants.

My 1 and 4 year old attend this nursery, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The environment is extremely nurturing and child-led and both my daughters have thrived here. The staff are attentive, kind and engaged and show a real interest in child development and well-being and my daughters have developed really strong bonds with their key workers and support staff. My eldest has progressed through each of the rooms and loved every stage. The food is prepared onsite and the menus sound better than the food I cook at home! Most importantly, both girls love going into nursery and come out full of smiles which is a joy to see.

I am so pleased we picked this nursery to be trusted with our little girl's first experience of being away from us. She has had the best start in pebbles and loves each and every one of the ladies who have gone the extra mile to build wonderful and trusting relationships. We have seen our daughter's development go from strength to strength with her confidence-building, speech, emotional intelligence and general learning. She is always happy to go in and can’t wait to share the things she has made with us. The app is a great tool to feel you aren’t away from your child and get to see what she is eating and the activities she is taking part in. We visited other nurseries before sending our daughter to Bright Horizons, Poole Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool. We knew instantly pebbles was for her. We had such a warm welcome and sensed the environment and culture were perfect. Other nurseries just weren’t the same and felt false. All of the staff here genuinely want the best for our children. Outstanding nursery! The attention to detail with the children’s learning is superb. Such a caring and nurturing environment too. The Montessori approach really suits my son, he is absolutely thriving here and that’s down to the staff and the support they provide. Would highly recommend Bright Horizons.
