Amazing nursery my son has special needs and they have made me feel so at ease, my son absolutely loves it there the best nursery in Torbay for sure. My son has come on so much and is really enjoying it there the staff are just amazing too.

Thank you to the manager and the team at Mama Bear's for the amazing care and support. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my daughter!

My child has really grown and learned a lot from nursery she is always happy to go in has made loads of friends and loves all the staff they are always very welcoming. My child is always worn out at the end of the day so can tell she has been very active.

My child has been attending Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School since October last year and I am very happy about it, the employees are very nice, smiling, helpful and compassionate... both managers are always very helpful and lovely... most importantly, I see each time I pick up my daughter, she is content and happy

Love this nursery and I love all the staff, both my children have gone through nursery years here. They always remember everyone here! I recommend anyone to bring their children to Midvale Road Mama Bear's.

Mama Bears Nursery has recently had a change in managerial staff February 2023. However, I feel the Nursery has maintained its high standards in providing excellent childcare. I have always found everyone to be friendly and caring of my child. They always come home happy and enjoy going to see the other children and staff there each week.

Our daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and has grown extremely fond of all the team at Mama Bear's. She loves coming to nursery and has excelled massively since she started going full-time in January. My only downfall would be the state she is sent home in sometimes, dirty and wet clothes, and wet coats, her coat has recently been ruined by paint which has been used at the nursery, likewise for some of her shoes. I would have thought it would be washable paint being a nursery setting so maybe this could be an improvement you make to protect the clothes and shoes we pay a lot of money for. We also have the 30 hours funded but feel we still pay quite a lot for our childcare. Overall we are really happy with the nursery, but as of late feel a lack of care is being given with regard to children’s clothing and belongings.

Everyone is really hands-on with the children and very on top of the children’s health. My little boy had a high temperature and they called me straight away, took him to the doctors and he had tonsillitis. Very happy with how fast they acted.

The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Management has been a great support when talking me through funding and even helping me complete my application. I could not have been more pleased I chose to send my son here. Thank you!

The management and admin give fast responses via email when I am querying hours and are very quick to accommodate any issues or problems. Which, in turn, are dealt with professionally. The nursery has very helpful staff throughout, with such a professional and outstanding scheme.

My daughter absolutely loves her nursery days at Mama Bear's Paignton - Midvale Road. She is always happy to go in and comes out telling me all about her day with her friends and the staff. She does a variety of activities during the day which she really enjoys. They have a good variety of foods at mealtimes. The staff are always happy to listen should you have any questions/queries and are happy to help.

My son also went to this nursery from 18 months right up until he started school, there really wasn't any other settings I would send my children to.

Excellent setting, highly recommended. All staff have been amazing with my little boy since he started, always going above and beyond. Lots of updates and pictures throughout the day, which is lovely to see!

My daughter (3 years old) has fitted into Mama Bear's straight away. She has formed friendships with the other children and has a really close bond with the staff. She is learning loads and enjoys it. They have prepared her well for school in September. We have never had any issues with Mama Bear's and I would recommend them to everyone.

Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Paignton - Midvale Road) is an amazing nursery. They are very accepting and accommodating to the most complex needs of children. My daughter has been there for just over two years, she has a disability which includes being non verbal and non mobile, the staff are makaton trained and very clued up as to what is needed. I could not ask for a better place for my daughter to be and have such a fantastic, inclusive start to her nursery life. Thank you all!

Wonderful nursery. My son enjoys it so much and the staff are so sweet! My little boy has learned so much in such a short space of time and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. My son has made some real bonds.

My daughter has attended for nearly a year now and has grown so much in that time. She loves going every day and the staff are like her second family.

She can have space at the nursery at my son's school but I love the way the staff handle things and I really like the whole feel of the nursery and the running of it.

Both my sons have attended Mama Bears on Midvlae road since they were babies. They have both really enjoyed their time there. The staff are always really helpful, friendly, and approachable. They do lots of activities with the children and they have a good outdoor space for playing.
