My son has attended this nursery for the past 12 months and what can I say, he has just flourished. As far as learning, he has come on leaps and bounds since being here. His sign language is amazing and his communication has improved massively. The staff have really focused on ensuring that my son
is having a fantastic time whilst also being educated. He is always so excited to go to nursery and is always greeted by very kind and happy staff. All of the staff have been amazing. I am always made aware of everything that happens through an app which is brilliant. I can check on my son whilst I work. The facilities are wonderful and my son personally loves being able to play in the garden. The food always looks delicious too! I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. If you're looking for a local nursery who genuinely care for your child then look no further!

My son attends the preschool, and I was quite anxious about sending him at first. However, the entire Mama Bears Midvale team have been incredible in supporting this transition - both for my son, who absolutely loves it there, and for me, making sure I feel comfortable and supported every step of
the way.
The staff are amazing with my little boy, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting for him. His speech has come on so much since joining, and the team have been wonderfully attentive to his eczema, medications, and dietary needs. They also provide so many wonderful opportunities for learning - from creative arts and crafts, to exploring different textures, and enjoying outdoor adventures.
I'm so grateful to see my son thriving in such a caring, nurturing environment. I truly cannot thank the staff enough for their ongoing dedication and support.

Well, where do I start with Mama Bears on midvale road. My eldest son attended this preschool from the age of two until he was ready for big school, and the exceptional, caring, loving care he received was out of this world. He displayed some advanced learning and the nursery created a lovely plan
to help push my sons learning so he was definitely ready to start reception. Throughout the time I got pregnant with my second son, the nursery demonstrated a level of care that I still hold extremely close to my heart, I had my baby very early and was extremely pooorly, but the preschool was there. They helped in more ways that I could imagine. Because midvale road staff showed this extraordinary dedication it was solidified that my baby would also attend mama bears. So at the age of two, little Fred started, and we will never look back. Professionalism with his meds, love for him, care for him, you're my hero's.YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!!! THANKYOU!

Everyone at Mama Bear Nursery is so friendly and really makes you and your child feel welcome and at ease. We would highly recommend this setting. Our daughter has made so many friends. Become so confident and we know when we drop her off that she will have lots of fun and learn lots too. We cannot
fault this setting and so pleased we chose here for our daughter. She has been attending since 9 months old and is now 15 months old.

Well, what can I say!
Mama bears at midvale road, have amazed me! They have not only been amazing for my son & his development, but also for me & my anxiety! After a bad experience elsewhere, I was so anxious when starting my son at Mama bears, but that soon all faded away with their
constant support & reassurance! All the staff there are lovely! Always greeting me & my son & have a good chat! I feel like we are part of an extending family. I couldn't want more for our family! They really are amazing & I am also recommending them and can't speak highly enough of them. The best decision we ever made as a family was to put our son in the amazing hands of mama bears, midvale road.

My little boy joined this setting in December 2024 and even though it's only been a few weeks, I couldn't be happier with how things have gone so far.
The communication is really good, I know exactly what is going on in his day. There have been a couple of occasions where he has had a fall or a
bump, they always call to make me aware but deal with it appropriately.
It's such a friendly place full of love. Everyone is so incredibly welcoming and approachable. I have had no issues but if I did I feel I could raise these and they would be dealt with.
My little boy has come home and told me about all the mucky play, songs he's been singing, games he's been playing. They are always busy doing something. All food/snacks are prepared fresh on site in the kitchen which I really like. I feel happy my little boy is eating good, wholesome hot meals.
All in all it's the best move I have made for my little boy and I couldn't he happier with the experience so far all round.
Would highly recommend it.

I couldn't be happier with Mama Bears, as a first-time father, everything is daunting, and I feel so comfortable leaving my girls at Mama Bears, every member of the team are very friendly and takes time to create a welcoming and warm environment. With personal updates, I feel my girls are in great
hands. The Christmas nativity showed this perfectly, the teachers had personal connections with all the children and put on a great show for everyone. Praises all around, and a big thank you to all at Mama Bears.

We have had a very positive experience with this nursery, our son has settled in very well. All the staff are friendly and caring and seem really engaged with the children and interested in getting to know them. I can head to work knowing he is going to be well looked after, safe, and in the care of
people who have his best interests at heart. He learns new things all the time and gets opportunities to play and interact with other children. Thanks to all of the staff there, you do an incredible job.

Amazing nursery my son has special needs and they have made me feel so at ease, my son absolutely loves it there the best nursery in Torbay for sure. My son has come on so much and is really enjoying it there the staff are just amazing too.

My daughter has always struggled with separation at nursery, but her transition here has been incredibly smooth thanks to the warm, caring, and supportive staff who have made her feel so comfortable.
The nursery offers wonderful activities like crafts and garden play, which my daughter loves. She
enjoys both the toddler and preschool rooms and the team creates a nurturing, engaging environment for all the children.
The staff are kind, responsive, and always quick to answer calls or emails, giving me great peace of mind. The Flexicare option is also fantastic, letting us avoid paying for planned leave.
Thank you to the manager and the team at Mama Bear's for the amazing care and support. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my daughter!

My daughter started in January at the age of 9 months, met 2 lovely girls who introduced themselves to my daughter and took to them straight away and very patient when she got upset, had a dietary problem with certain foods she was eating and sent an email across and dealt with it straight away by
management. The staff made me feel at ease handing my daughter over each morning. Always comes out with clean clothes on, communication through the app works well so I can check on my daughter throughout the day.
5 stars to the company.

My child has really grown and learned a lot from nursery she is always happy to go in has made loads of friends and loves all the staff they are always very welcoming. My child is always worn out at the end of the day so can tell she has been very active.

Mama Bears Nursery has recently had a change in managerial staff February 2023. However, I feel the Nursery has maintained its high standards in providing excellent childcare. I have always found everyone to be friendly and caring of my child. They always come home happy and enjoy going to see the
other children and staff there each week.

Such a lovely team, both my boys are so happy here. My eldest has lots of friends and they spend a good amount of time outside.
I am always the last parent to pick them up and my baby is always being given a cuddle. Can’t recommend it here enough.

Everyone is really hands-on with the children and very on top of the children’s health. My little boy had a high temperature and they called me straight away, took him to the doctors and he had tonsillitis. Very happy with how fast they acted.

Our daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old and has grown extremely fond of all the team at Mama Bear's. She loves coming to nursery and has excelled massively since she started going full-time in January. My only downfall would be the state she is sent home in sometimes, dirty and
wet clothes, and wet coats, her coat has recently been ruined by paint which has been used at the nursery, likewise for some of her shoes. I would have thought it would be washable paint being a nursery setting so maybe this could be an improvement you make to protect the clothes and shoes we pay a lot of money for. We also have the 30 hours funded but feel we still pay quite a lot for our childcare. Overall we are really happy with the nursery, but as of late feel a lack of care is being given with regard to children’s clothing and belongings.

The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Management has been a great support when talking me through funding and even helping me complete my application. I could not have been more pleased I

The management and admin give fast responses via email when I am querying hours and are very quick to accommodate any issues or problems. Which, in turn, are dealt with professionally. The nursery has very helpful staff throughout, with such a professional and outstanding scheme.
