The staff are always friendly and provide daily updates both in the personalised book or at drop off and pickups.
The staff have also supported us recently in transitioning my child away from nappies which has been great.

There won't be many schools where you see children running in smiling and ready for a full day, then at the end of the day not wanting to leave. My son absolutely loves King's and is thriving in the environment. He is always so proud to come home and tell me what he has learnt in the day and happy to practise it at home. My son has made some lovely friends and lucky to spend time with them at the weekends too. The school is very attentive to a child's needs and also involves the parents in lots of the steps and helps us understand the tools used to teach them as well. I honestly couldn't think of a better school to send him to and I'm grateful we got the spot for him. Thank you King's.

The staff are very attentive and friendly. That goes beyond nursery staff too and includes staff we see around on the grounds, always willing to greet us etc.

A couple of small things could help improve it more:
1) Please could nursery staff be reminded to pull out the nappy frills when changing nappies- it’ll stop leaks when we get home.
2) Could the food offered be a bit healthier? Cakes and chocolate aren’t something we’ve introduced to our child at home, we were surprised this is offered so often at nursery, especially when they are babies still. Not so much of a problem now but when younger I was surprised to see this offered when we had a no or low sugar rule at home and still do not give our child chocolate. This is something my mum friends have mentioned to me about the nursery menu.

Otherwise, we are very happy with the nursery. Especially the day routine and play and creativity encouraged.

We appreciate your valuable feedback regarding our nursery menu. Your satisfaction with our daily routine and creative focus is wonderful to hear. We've noted your concerns and are happy to provide clarity:
Parents can choose between a daily dessert or a fruit and yoghurt option to suit their child's dietary preferences.
Our cakes are designed to be low in sugar and often incorporate hidden vegetables for a healthier choice.
Treats like chocolate cookies are only offered twice within a three-week menu cycle, balancing variety and health-conscious options.
Your feedback is essential, and we are committed to maintaining a well-rounded and balanced menu that respects the dietary preferences and restrictions of our families.
If you have further concerns or wish to discuss this matter, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are eager to collaborate to ensure an optimal experience for your child and all children in our care. Warm regards, King's School.

My daughter has been at King's Nursery since she was 9 months old and I have been so happy with all the care and effort they all put into her development.
Every member of staff is a credit to the younger years as they always go that extra mile to support.

I like that it has a structured day along with making it fun and the excellent communication, she always came home smiling and made my life easy knowing she is in a safe happy environment due to all the staff.

My little girl started King's at 9 months and has been there for nearly a year. They really do care, the first month was difficult as I was learning a new routine but she absolutely loves her nursery. We get photos and videos during my day which really does put a smile on my face at work. We have a daily diary so I get all the information on sleep, activities etc. I love the little gifts and artwork she brings home.
I know King's is the right nursery as my little girl loves being there plus she always sleeps really well on nursery days.

King's Nursery is a little gem. My daughter has settled in so well with all staff working hard to ensure she is safe, active and enjoying her time there. She has grown in confidence, independence and ability and is always happy to go to nursery with the biggest smile on her face. The facilities are great, with 4 lovely outdoor spaces available to the children along with fun yet educational toys and activities. I couldn't ask for a better nursery and start for my daughter.

I have been well and truly blown away by the staff at King's since my daughter started nursery earlier this year. Not only did they meet my expectations of what a nursery should be like they go above and beyond to the point it feels like I'm leaving her with friends. My daughter has learnt so much so fast and I'm amazed by her speech and understanding she adores the staff and open talks about them at home. I cannot praise them enough for making a nervous mum feels totally at ease leaving my baby in their care.

I had a phone call saying my child had fallen asleep at 3pm. The keyworker asked me how long I would like my child to sleep for!
My previous childcare would have let my child sleep until they wanted which would result in a sleepless night.
