King's Nursery latest inspection was found to be 'outstanding' in all areas March 2024.

The curriculum is ambitious and designed to give children, particularly the vulnerable, the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. Leaders regularly monitor and evaluate the curriculum to ensure that children’s experiences over time consistently build on their experiences at home and nursery. For example, staff now enhance visits to the library and offer families story sacks to take home. This extends opportunities for children to explore their favourite books and retell stories with props and puppets. This is helping to promote an early enjoyment of reading for children and their families.

Leaders aim for children to develop secure communication and language skills and staff create a language-rich environment. For example, they ensure that children can choose freely from a wide range of books and young children become fascinated as staff read enthusiastically to them. Staff engage children in high-quality conversation and provide opportunities for them to share their thoughts and ideas. Children go on to demonstrate their love of books as they select their own book and replicate the story telling situation with their friends. They recall the plot and practise using new language and vocabulary that they have learned.

King's Nursery is a little gem. My daughter has settled in so well with all staff working hard to ensure she is safe, active and enjoying her time there. She has grown in confidence, independence and ability and is always happy to go to nursery with the biggest smile on her face. The facilities are
great, with 4 lovely outdoor spaces available to the children along with fun yet educational toys and activities. I couldn't ask for a better nursery and start for my daughter.

I have been well and truly blown away by the staff at King's since my daughter started nursery earlier this year. Not only did they meet my expectations of what a nursery should be like they go above and beyond to the point it feels like I'm leaving her with friends. My daughter has learnt so much so
fast and I'm amazed by her speech and understanding she adores the staff and open talks about them at home. I cannot praise them enough for making a nervous mum feels totally at ease leaving my baby in their care.

I had a phone call saying my child had fallen asleep at 3pm. The keyworker asked me how long I would like my child to sleep for!
My previous childcare would have let my child sleep until they wanted which would result in a sleepless night.
I appreciated the call and the care taken. I am very happy.

King’s is a lovely nursery with caring and approachable staff. Our daughter has settled in so well and very quickly and that’s all down to the staff who care for her. They have been supportive from the start and always ensure she has a fun filled and exciting day with a wide variety of activities indoors
and outdoors.

King's Nursery is absolutely excellent.
Both my children have loved their time at King's. They are very well looked after in a gentle and loving environment.
I feel completely reassured leaving my children for the day knowing they are happy and appropriately stimulated.

I am delighted with the care provided to my one-year-old daughter at King's. She is so happy whenever we pick her up, she has always had a lovely day.
