Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Plympton, Plymouth is a purpose-built nursery offering high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. With a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating (March 2022), the setting provides a welcoming, homely environment led by a long-standing, experienced team.

The nursery follows the EYFS framework, alongside its own Foundations for the Future and Pathway to the Future programmes, supporting holistic development through hands-on learning. Children enjoy well-resourced playrooms, a calming sensory room, and a large outdoor space, with plans underway to introduce a new allotment and mud kitchen.

Fresh meals are prepared by the on-site chef. The team work in close partnership with families through regular parent evenings, home learning resources and the Famly App, creating strong connections and consistent care.

A fantastic nursery. Both my boys attend, I wouldn’t have them anywhere else. The staff team and the facilities are excellent.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year and she loves it. I love that all food is cooked on site and I love that all age groups are separated. The nursery is bright and airy although rather hot in the summer months and is excellently located. It has a nice feel about it and my daughter
had become very attached to some of the staff. Sadly I will have to move her to another nursery when she turns 3 as Kiddi Caru only allows a proportion of the free hours per day so I will still have to pay approximately £27 per day for the 2 days a week she attends. Unless your child attends nursery full time, I don't think you will receive the full benefit of your entitled 30 free hours. I would urge parents to check what your fees will be once your child turns 3 as I wouldn't have chosen to send my daughter here if I knew I would have to move her at 3 years old.

Kiddi Caru have consistently provided outstanding care for our daughter from the age of 9 months through to 5 yrs. All the carers are very friendly and professional incorporating play time with learning always and the cook has made sure that our daughter eats a balanced diet of great wholesome freshly
prepared food every day. Highly recommended!

My daughter has settled so well at Kiddi Caru. All of the carers in her room are fantastic, they find out as much as they can about your home routine and try to emulate this at the nursery. They have a range of activities for the children to take part in, I love that my little girl gets to go into the
garden every day as it is connected to the room she is in. The food sounds great with a nice variety for the children to try.
As a first time mum of a baby at the nursery I feel that the nursery staff really care about my daughter and what more can you ask for?!

My boy has been attending this nursery over 3 years full time even if it is in a different corner of the city from where we live, but I don't have enough words to praise this place. the managers and the staff are amazing and very understanding, always tried to accommodate our needs and children's as
well. The nursery is very clean with food cooked on site and they have a massive garden where children can explore. For my son to be there full time, means we didn't have the necessary time at home to get him ready for school but they have been amazing teaching him everything he needs to know and now he is more than ready. I feel gutted he needs to leave this nursery now as over 3 years he's been so happy in Kiddi Caru. I really believe it is the best nursery in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

The staff are very good. They have a structured play plan. My daughter loves it, she has been going since she was 18 months old. The facilities are excellent they have a well equipped sensory room.

Our 4-year-old Son has received exceptional support and care from all of the staff at Kiddi Caru Plympton since he joined just at 17 months.
Our son has a speech delay and other additional learning needs. The support he has received has been overwhelmingly superb and we can’t praise them enough.

The nursery is fantastic. My daughter has been there since she was one and she is devastated to be leaving in August.
I moved house part way through her time there and viewed a lot of nursery’s that were more convenient due to distance but nothing came close to Kiddi Caru so I travelled the extra distance
to keep her there.

Both my daughters joined the nursery since ago of approx 18 months. I am happy with the staff, attitude and care level.
The staff make sure the little ones are fed, clean and going back home tired but happy only to go back or more mischief.

I am so pleased to have placed my little one at Kiddi Caru. All the staff and managers are so professional and so friendly. I was worried about leaving my little one with people who I didn't really know but as soon as I had the induction I knew that she would be looked after well. My little one is always
so happy to go to nursery and is always smiling away. I would always recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their children.

My daughter loves coming to nursery. The staff are all so welcoming and well informed. I really like how well the staff know all the children and how keen they are to engage with parents. My daughter has an excellent relationship with her key worker and the care and support she receives are wonderful.
I really feel all her needs are met to an excellent standard and communication is always prompt and informative. We are very happy with the nursery and particularly the staff who work with our daughter.

A fantastic nursery with friendly, professional and caring staff. I was initially a little nervous about starting my young son at nursery when returning to work, but as soon as I toured their facilities, I knew that I had nothing to worry about. The staff are a real credit to the nursery and I am always
