Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Plympton, Plymouth is a purpose-built nursery offering high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. With a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating (March 2022), the setting provides a welcoming, homely environment led by a long-standing, experienced team.

The nursery follows the EYFS framework, alongside its own Foundations for the Future and Pathway to the Future programmes, supporting holistic development through hands-on learning. Children enjoy well-resourced playrooms, a calming sensory room, and a large outdoor space, with plans underway to introduce a new allotment and mud kitchen.

Fresh meals are prepared by the on-site chef. The team work in close partnership with families through regular parent evenings, home learning resources and the Famly App, creating strong connections and consistent care.

The nursery and it’s staff offer me peace of mind when I drop my child off. The facilities are excellent and the staff are friendly and interactive, showing a genuine interest in my child and the others they care for.

When my son began at Kiddi Caru, I was extremely apprehensive about being away from him. The staff at Kiddi Caru provide such a wonderfully fun and caring environment that from day 1, I could see how much my son loved it there. It’s clear that all the staff, including management, build great relationships
with every child. I could not be more grateful for all of the staff that work so hard at Kiddi Caru to provide the best level of care every day.

Fantastic nursery!! The girls in Cedar room are like family to our son.
Nursery practitioners and modern apprentice go above and beyond every single day.
I can't recommend them enough.
Their menus are well balanced and they have great facilities within the nursery and garden.
My son has come on
leaps and bounds since joining Kiddi Caru Plympton.
I hope their hard work is recognised by management.

I cannot rate Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plympton highly enough. This is a fantastic nursery all the staff are truly amazing and so friendly and helpful and really take time to get to know you as well as your children. My little boy has been here since just before his first birthday and I have never had
any issues or concerns (he is nearly 4). The staff really engage with the children and you can see the bond the children have will all the staff. You are always kept up to date with your child's development and communication from the nursery as a whole is fantastic. If anyone is looking for a nursery for their children which is an environment their children will love and also help them to reach their true potential then this is the place to go.

Although Kiddi Caru was not my first choice, I have found them to be very good and any hesitation on using them has been eliminated, have found the staff to be very helpful and willing to advise and help with development of my son.

Highly professional and committed staff who are always willing to help parents and children alike.
I have been massively impressed with the development within my son and the relationships that he has with key carers.
The fact that every member of staff knows his name (as well as presumably all the
other children's names as well) speaks volumes for the passion and enthusiasm that the staff have for their jobs.

A fantastic nursery where my child has thrived in a safe and caring environment.
I cannot thank Kiddi Caru staff more for their fantastic care of my daughter. She has been in Kiddi Caru since she was 18 months old and is due to start school this year. She has had many opportunities to learn academically,
socially and emotionally. They have encouraged her to be herself and she loves it there.
There is no other nursery I’d be happy to put my second child in other than Kiddi Caru.

My son has settled in so well at Kiddi Caru and loves all of the staff. His carers are lovely and encourage the best out of him. He seems to come home every day from nursery having learnt something new. I cannot find fault with Kiddi Caru especially the food. He eats and enjoys everything. Very happy.

Currently, my son is in pre-school. The care shown towards him is excellent, particularly from his ket carer.
My son's learning and development have come on leaps and bounds due to attending the nursery. Excellent nursery and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I moved my two children to this nursery after not being happy with the previous nursery.
This nursery is the best, my two children have come on leaps and bounds, especially my four-year-old.
I'm sad that he hasn't got long left with them.
All the staff are amazing, it's lovely to see them all happy
and talkative.
(That's the staff I'm talking about.)
I highly recommend this nursery.
Cannot praise any of the staff/managers enough.

I am super pleased with the service and care that my child receives at Kiddi Caru Plympton. The staff are friendly, show great care and interest in their job and are always welcoming to parents comments or concerns.


The manager and staff are always upbeat and smiling, imagine walking into a nursery

on a raining, cold, windy morning and you and your child are greeted so warmly.
Bliss!! I would readily encourage anything to give Kiddi Caru a go.

Since starting here in September 2016. I have noticed a real positive change in my son. His confidence has grown and he has made real positive connections with both the adults and other children. They are doing a great job in preparing him for school when he starts in September.

Kiddi Caru welcomes parents, children and visitors with a warm stimulating environment, supportive and committed to helping nurture and develop children. The children are happy, content and make great progress in their early years and it is so reassuring to know our children are so well cared for. My
first child has matured as a person and learner and is so happy at Kiddi Caru. My second child is already enrolled at such a wonderful nursery. The staff are all amazing with the children at the centre of everything they do.
