Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Plympton, Plymouth is a purpose-built nursery offering high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. With a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating (March 2022), the setting provides a welcoming, homely environment led by a long-standing, experienced team.

The nursery follows the EYFS framework, alongside its own Foundations for the Future and Pathway to the Future programmes, supporting holistic development through hands-on learning. Children enjoy well-resourced playrooms, a calming sensory room, and a large outdoor space, with plans underway to introduce a new allotment and mud kitchen.

We have had a really positive experience with the nursery and our little one is very well looked after there. We always find the staff to be very polite and friendly. We enjoy the Famly app and receiving updates about our little one throughout the day. It is nice to be able to communicate with your
child’s room if/when you need to through the app also!

Our daughters both attended Kiddi Caru Plympton 3 days a week since they were 9 months old, until they went to school. They loved their time at the nursery and grew socially as well as being well prepared for school when the time came. The staff were always excellent - the communication with us (the
parents), and their flexibility in terms of food for the children was second to none. Although they are on the pricier end for nursery childcare in my area, I love the fact that I never had to worry about providing anything but the children and a change of clothes - no messing about with packed lunches and snacks in the morning. Well worth the extra few pounds.
Our girls were sad to leave, and still talk fondly of their time spent at Kiddi Caru. I honestly can't recommend the nursery highly enough - and have in fact recommended it to friends over the years who subsequently have also sent their children there.

Having been at Kiddi Caru Plympton for the past 2 years, our daughter has recently left to start school. We could not have picked a better nursery for her. All of the staff are so welcoming and really put you at ease. Our daughter made strong relationships with her key worker and others in her room.
She made lovely friendships with the other children. We honestly were so sad to leave but thanks to the support of the staff at Kiddi Caru, our once very shy and timid little girl has grown massively in confidence and has settled into 'big school' amazingly. We would 100% recommend Kiddi Caru.

Our daughter has made great progress since joining Kiddo Caru Day Nursery Plympton in September 2021. The variety of activities are really engaging and we see progress every week at home as a result. Our daughter is happy to go in every day and is welcomed by her friends and staff at the door. The staff
know her really well, including those that don't work with her all of the time. I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plympton.

My daughter has been going to Kiddi Caru since she was 11 months old. She has learnt and grown so much, that I am so thankful to everyone who works there. Even the ladies that aren't in my daughter's room know her name. Everyone is really friendly and kind. They can't do enough for my daughter or for
me. Any questions they will answer or help as much as they can with any issue. As a team, they work very well together. I have recommended the nursery to my friends and colleagues.

We send both our children to Kiddi Caru and we are very happy that we do. All the staff are very friendly and the children look forward to going. A certain member of staff was a particular favourite of my son's but all in preschool have made it easy for him when she left. My daughter enjoys nursery
and has loads of fun. Staff are always very kind and willing to help with any queries.

Very impressed with Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plymouth. Our child is always welcomed with a smile and waved off with a see you soon. We are regularly updated about the preschool topics and activities. The hot meal provision is superb. The staff go above and beyond to listen and engage with our child and

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plympton are fantastic at what they do! A fabulous atmosphere and the staff do really care for your child as you would. Both of my children have loved the fabulous outside space and varied activities.

The very friendly and caring staff means that my son is not just happy to go to nursery in the mornings but excited! I love how they use the outside space with the children. The use of the app is good to let parents know what happens every day.

My little girl loves coming to Kiddi Caru and has made some lovely friends. They always do some lovely activities, and we will be really sad to leave in September as she has been with them since 9-months-old. All the carers are lovely and always keep us informed.

Great nursery, excellent staff. Good connection with children and parents. My daughter loves coming to nursery. Brought her on leaps and bounds. Great job done by all who have looked after her. Very good facilities.

My child has been at Kiddi Caru since July 2020 moving from baby room to 1 - 2's. I have found the staff across the rooms to be very caring and thoughtful to individual child's needs. My child has built relationships with his key worker and the other team which has helped with his confidence and learning.
The change to using the parent app has been helpful in getting updates during the day.

My son loves attending nursery and has a good bond with all of his carers. He’s settled in quickly and established a very good routine which I was afraid wouldn’t happen. In a short space of time, he has come on leaps and bounds and I feel confident in knowing he is well looked after. He has enjoyed
all the food offered to him so far and am glad he is eating a varied diet. My only (and it is very minor) complaint would be, as a first-time mum with high levels of anxiety, is that I wish there was more communication on the parent app throughout the day. Although I do understand that the staff are extremely busy.

My little girl has embraced nursery with thanks to her wonderful carers, and I've really enjoyed peering through the window at pick up seeing her interact with others and play. We are both super pleased with the care and attention my little one receives at Kiddi Caru.

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plympton has always been very forthcoming in sharing news and information, which we’ve always appreciated, especially since the beginning of the pandemic. The staff are so kind and friendly, and I am certain that is why our child is so happy and comfortable at this nursery. They
definitely contribute to the sense of security and friendship that our child is always talking about. A major thing we truly appreciate is how attentive they are if you have concerns. They are as transparent as they can be and make it clear that they are there to support in whatever way they can. Also, they are very supportive if things come up or changes need to be made. I could not imagine changing nurseries at all. Whilst we love this nursery, sometimes things get missed if only one parent interacts with the nursery regularly. So my only critique would be to send out more communication to both parents so everyone is in the loop. Another thing would be to help the kids be aware of their presentation.

My child has been attending Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Plympton for about 5-months, so during these difficult times, we have experienced some challenges around winter/Covid, and we had excellent responses from management to administrative support to key workers. The facility is amazing, and my child receives
excellent care. I highly recommend Kiddi Caru.

My little one loves going to Kiddi Caru she gets very excited when you mention it. We are so impressed with all the activities they do to help with their individual learning needs. The staff really understand my little one inside out and that was very clear during our parents evening. They always offer
a lovely variety of food. The only thing I would change is an online system to see updates hence why I put good instead of excellent for resources.

I did a tour of the nursery back in August 2019 when my child was only 3 months old and she was alert and couldn't stop looking around. All the staff where friendly and all the children I saw were engaged and happy, so I was excited when my child eventually started at 9 months old. Ever since, my child
has always gone in happy. My child is nearly 2 years old and even gives an excited 'yay' when we arrive and she sees her key workers at the door.
Her development has gone from strength to strength and the key workers really take on board what you want as a parent.
Overall I would recommend to anyone.
