Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Plympton, Plymouth is a purpose-built nursery offering high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 5 years. With a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating (March 2022), the setting provides a welcoming, homely environment led by a long-standing, experienced team.

The nursery follows the EYFS framework, alongside its own Foundations for the Future and Pathway to the Future programmes, supporting holistic development through hands-on learning. Children enjoy well-resourced playrooms, a calming sensory room, and a large outdoor space, with plans underway to introduce a new allotment and mud kitchen.

Fresh meals are prepared by the on-site chef. The team work in close partnership with families through regular parent evenings, home learning resources and the Famly App, creating strong connections and consistent care.

My daughter started this year with Kiddi Caru. We think she has settled in really well and the staff have been very welcoming to my daughter. She appears to have fun! However, it would be really great to see more photos/have more updates about what she gets up to. Some days we don't know what she's
been doing that day/don't see pictures of her at all or of her eating etc. Pictures seem to be taken because we get told they have been taken, but just not uploaded. More photos and more updates about what activities she has done would be amazing!

My child is always so happy about nursery and talks positively about her friends and the staff. Noticed a change in how she behaves and learns since she started attending, which demonstrates how much they put into each child.

I love this nursery, so much so when we moved to another county and it was further for me to travel, it did not cross my mind to move my daughter to a nursery closer. I always recommend Kiddi Caru when asked what nursery my daughter goes to.

Our daughter has now been at Kiddi Caru Plympton for a month, she always leaves happy and we have lots of photos and reports of her enjoying herself updated on the app. Her key worker is amazing, going above and beyond for the babies in her care and our little one is always happy and excited to see
her on drop-offs. There is always a wide range of activities happening which our daughter thrives on as a baby who constantly needs to be busy. We couldn’t thank all of the staff enough, but particularly her key worker for helping make the transition to full-time nursery any smoother for all of us.

I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery. All the staff are so lovely and in particular, my daughter's key worker, who is fantastic. My daughter has got such a great bond with her and she is coming on leaps and bounds in this nursery.
They are great at keeping us up to date with everything
also.

My daughter has been coming since 6 months old and is now 4. She is thriving at Kiddi Caru and wouldn’t want her anywhere else. She has made the best relationships with all her carers and comes home daily telling me everything about what she has been up to throughout the day especially singing lots
of new songs and showing off her yoga moves. The menu is a 10/10 and every day has cleaned her plate and even sometimes has seconds which never happens at home!

Every staff member will go above and beyond for the children in their care, management is top tier and this is reflected in all aspects of the nursery. The feeling of warmth, compassion and professionalism is felt when you walk through the door and can be seen whenever you enter a room. I couldn’t ask
for a better setting for my baby.

Kiddi Caru Plymouth is like our second family, they love, care and treat all the children like their own. They are always doing things with the children. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Kiddi Caru. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff.

We love Kiddi Caru Plympton. The teaching and care staff are fantastic as are the management and admin team. My daughter enjoys nursery and I have full peace of mind knowing she is happy and safe. We are always kept updated with news and events and given updates on activities/meals/toileting every day
without fail. Interaction with parents is encouraged by staff and parents evenings are held. A fantastic nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves Kiddi Caru, she was so shy before she joined and now she is fully engaged and ready to lean. The nursery also helped me with changing her hours when I had a very unexpected change to my working hours and did everything they could to accommodate myself and my daughter. The
staff are so friendly and it really feels like one big family.

My two sons have both attended Kiddi Caru Plympton over the years, I have been using the nursery since 2017 with my first son and still using the nursery now with my second. My youngest will be going to primary school come September and I really do feel sad to be leaving. My son has a strong relationship
with his key carer for which I am so grateful for when he needs a reassuring cuddle! Kiddi Caru has a super friendly feel, the staff are so approachable, smiley and above all so caring, they make me feel comfortable that my child will be safe in their care. The atmosphere at drop off and collection is always a happy one. They regularly assess the children's developmental progress and send it to the parent. Mealtimes always sound delicious with 3 meals a day provided. Communication, support and care is always excellent. I highly recommend Kiddi Caru.

My child has thrived at Kiddi Caru Plympton. She has a huge fondness for the staff and their caring nature is obvious. Over her time there she has been supported in learning to talk, potty training, and her exploration of the world. I can't fault their input in this. Their curriculum and resources are
fantastic. My only criticism is the difficulty they have in retaining a full permanent staff, but appreciate that this is an issue with the sector as a whole. The agency staff they hire are always nice. The garden facilities and the sensory room were two big factors in our decision to choose the nursery. My child regularly gets to spend time outside and often comes home talking of the fun she had in the garden. The food is amazing and all cooked on site. This means that they are completely capable of catering for my child's intolerance. She loves their food and will often eat food at nursery which she tells me she dislikes if I make it!

Our son has settled in so well at Kiddi Caru Plympton. The staff members in his room have been amazing with helping both him and myself settle in with the unknown of starting nursery. I can’t thank them enough for the care and attention they have given him. He has been really poorly lately and they
have been more than happy to keep an extra eye on him. He loves the activities they do every day and really seems to be enjoying himself; the messier the better!

We think Kiddi Caru is absolutely excellent! Our children love attending - always going in excited and have fantastic relationships with the staff. The facilities are excellent and the garden is great! The communication from the nursery in general as well as daily updates is fantastic. One of our children
has allergies and the care taken is great and care plans are updated every 3 months and on time! We could not be happier - but most importantly, our children are so happy!

My daughter joined just before her first birthday, and has come on leaps and bounds in her development since attending Kiddi Caru Plympton! They have been so helpful from day one and have really supported me with all aspects of the nursery enrolment being a first time mum. I couldn't recommend them
enough, I love being able to see my daughters day on their app, makes me feel more at ease seeing what she is up to throughout the day while I'm at work. 10 out of 10!
