My child started at Happy Days when she was 6-months-old, she is always so excited when she arrives at nursery and never wants to leave. She absolutely loves the forest area and the activities they do out there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and deliver a high quality of care, could not recommend
Happy Days Falmouth enough.

We are so pleased to have found Happy Days Falmouth. Our son is so happy to go off to ‘school’, he always skips in and looks suitably tired and happy when we pick him up. The forest area is a real treat and suits his love of bugs and mud! During the COVID break out we were very wary about looking for
childcare but our jobs needed us to sort it out ASAP. The nursery and the manager could not have done enough to put us at ease - we knew our child was going to be safe, cared for and allowed to be a little boy safely - thank you!

My son has been coming to this nursery for a good year and a half. He has settled so well with the staff and the surroundings. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. Very happy here and highly recommend this nursery.

We started at the nursery as they reopened after lockdown so it was difficult handing my 14 month-old over at the front door and not seeing him settle in and at first he was naturally a little reluctant to go in, but within 2 weeks he was running through the door without a second look (and now he runs
back in at the end of the day!). Even in that first week in the evenings we saw no change in his behaviour or sleep - he was still his happy, inquisitive self so we knew he was well cared for during the day.
The team have been so welcoming and actively look to understand his interests and needs. They actively promote skills they see developing and encourage new areas of development. Their quick debriefs with me at the end of each day are really helpful and reassuring. The activities are varied and they spend lots of time outside.
The manager and team are supportive, friendly, professional, and good-humoured - essential for both children and parents! Thanks to all.

Well, what can I say, my son has been going to this nursery for nearly 2 years, his speech, imagination and confidence has really improved. He has learnt so much in such a short space of time.
The staff at Happy Days are friendly, thorough and always welcoming. They are very kind and caring.
Even
with the coronavirus, they have taken the right precautions to make sure that all the children are safe.
Will defiantly recommend this nursery.

What can I say, just an amazing nursery. My son has been attending Happy Days for the last 2 years. He has additional needs, which the nursery were quick to spot and supportive in him getting the support he needs. His key worker, the manager and the rest of the team are fantastic with him. Whilst he
struggles with learning, he has learnt so much from his time there, both him and us will really miss the team when he leaves to start school.
I would recommend Happy Days to anyone.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year and it is the best decision we've made. The staff have been amazing and really helped my daughter with her speech and behaviour. I was nervous for her to start nursery but all the staff have made me feel so at ease and my daughter asks to go
every day. The activities they do and the outside area are always a highlight for my daughter. She has come on so much since starting this nursery and she's always so excited to share what she has done and learnt when she comes home. I would recommend to anyone looking for a local nursery.

My son has been going to Happy Days for the past 2 years, I have watched him grow and learn new things with the help for all of the staff. They are always happy, friendly and always there if you have any questions or concerns. My son loves going to nursery he's made some brilliant friends and adores
his teachers. They have been learning sounds of words and letters and to my astonishment my son came out with C C C Croissants so there teaching is definitely working.

Happy Days in Falmouth has been fantastic for my two year old. He’s been going for around a year and he absolutely loves it. The outdoor play area is amazing and he does so many different activities. The staff have all been so lovely and the nursery manager has been beyond helpful at meeting my needs
for my sporadic work schedule. They have also been really helpful and gone out of their way to meet our dietary needs which was something I was nervous about when starting him at nursery. I could not recommend the nursery enough.

Overall I feel the nursery is a great environment for my child. I feel confident and happy that my child is safe and well looked after.
He has formed a relationship with the staff and I feel comfortable leaving him.
The staff are friendly and knowledgable.
Although we have only been going to nursery
since mid March I feel he has really benefitted from it.
The only real improvement/suggestion I would make is to offer a breakfast/tea time meal option for those who may need it.

My child has really enjoyed going to Happy Days. She has been there since she was 10 months old and is now off to school. The staff are really friendly and it's a very welcoming environment. My child has come on so much and is really going to miss coming here.

This is a very friendly nursery with experienced staff, who really care for all the children in their charge. The amount and variety of activities throughout the day are incredible. Somehow our fussy eaters are persuaded to eat and our sleep refusers actually nap. I would not hesitate to recommend this

Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Falmouth is a lovely friendly setting. All staff are welcoming and make you feel reassured when needed. I have no problem leaving my child for his morning sessions as I know he always has a good day! When I collect him at the end of the session he has a big smile ready
for me and can't wait to tell me about his day. The setting is laid out perfectly with a 0-2 room, 2-3 and 3-4, each set out to suit the age range with lots of bright colourful educational posters around.

Our son is very happy at Happy Days, he is always happy to go in, eats plenty of food, has a great day playing and learning and we are always told about what sort of day he has had. The staff are great and the nursery indoor and outdoor space is excellent.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

My name is Kate, and I am the new manager of Happy Days Falmouth. I have been working in childcare for nearly 20 years. I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a teacher and in 2010, I completed my Bachelor of Education degree. I started working in a nursery to gain Early Years experience and I soon realised this was my true passion. I went on to complete my Early Years Teacher status in 2015. During my time working in nurseries, I have progressed from a practitioner to room leader of all age groups and various management roles. 


I have worked at Happy Days for nearly two years, starting as a Deputy Manager at another setting, then becoming the Quality Lead here at Falmouth in September 2024, before taking on my new role as manager. 


I believe Early Years are the most important years of a child’s life and I feel privileged to do the job I do. I look forward to working alongside my team to continue creating a safe, fun, and enabling environments for all the children in our care. This will encourage the children to reach their full potential in their learning and support them to shine.
