Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Treloweth

Luckily my daughter is quite confident, which makes me feel a lot better about her being in nursery. She seems to really enjoy her time there and is always bringing home artwork, which I love.

Always found the nursery to be of high standards, staff always polite.

My children are always happy to attend nursery. I have used Happy Days Treloweth for years and never had anything other than an outstanding experience. All the staff are excellent and nothing is ever to much trouble. The variety of learning activities is always engaging and challenging, which is noticeable in my children's happiness and development.

On returning to work after maternity leave, our 11-month-old child had never been left with anyone before so we were anxious about starting him in the nursery. We visited lots of nurseries before choosing Happy Days because we liked the friendliness of the team, the activities we saw children taking part in and the menus. Our son took quite a while to settle down, but the team were really patient and compassionate towards him. The manager never got irritated with me ringing to see how he was getting on and also, suggested that we extend his settling in sessions by another week, just to get him used to it a bit more before he started full days. Three and a half months later, there are no tears, we’ve got lovely artwork decorating our fridge, our little boy comes home full of chatter and smiles and we’ve just enrolled him to do an extra day a week, as he loves it so much. I never thought we’d be doing that when we first started at nursery. I can’t recommend the team at Happy Days enough.

At every stage, the staff have been excellent. They were all very helpful and open when we were trying the nursery and helped to make the transition to somewhere new seamless. My daughter has grown in every way by making friends, gaining confidence, learning patience, how to play with others, how to explain feelings, how to help others...the list is endless. We are leaving with a heavy heart as the staff have given her the very best care and me the peace of mind knowing she is so happy every day. Thank you team, you rock!! x

Constructive criticism would be that I would like their nursery fees to be more itemised as they sometimes do extra sessions do not attend sessions due to bank holidays etc which can be confusing sometimes.

He loves it when he attends nursery and loves all of the sensory activities.

Staff are friendly and approachable. Appear attentive to children. Good handovers, I have not experienced any problem either when my daughter attended or my son!

During my sons time at the nursery, he has flourished under the care and guidance of all the staff. After relocating, they took on board my concerns and worries about my son settling and reassured us a family with detailed handovers and an open door. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for anyone, instead of childcare, it has felt like leaving him with family.

Superb nursery would recommend to everyone. Excellent, friendly staff who care. Excellent facilities. Superb meals and value for money.

My two daughters have flourished since joining the nursery in March. The staff have gone out of their way to help them settle in. The facilities are wonderful - I particularly like the outdoor free flow space and garden where the children help grow vegetables. My youngest has down's syndrome and the staff have worked hard with her signing and helping her. They both love being at nursery.

Staff are always welcoming and give good handovers about the day's events.

The rooms offer a well catered age range of activities which teach valuable skills, ready for when they take the next steps of their education into school.

When I collect my son at the end of the day, I have a full report of his day. He is always smiling and full of excitement. He doesn't always want to leave and that's the best review for me!

Just the food they offer, it isn't really a tea, it's a snack, so when you pick up your child they don't want a cooked meal when they get home. More water to be offered to children on hot days as they have 2 cups in the 5 hours they are there.

Great, friendly and efficient staff, rooms are big. My child seems happy arriving and leaving the nursery. Overall, very happy with the care they have provided for my child.

Treloweth is a wonderful nursery for our son. he thrives in this environment and has come such a long way since September 16, when he first started. The team are incredibly supportive and nothing is too much trouble. Our son is being prepared to transition to reception in September and Happy Days are really assisting with this. We wouldn't put our son anywhere else!

I have always found the staff approachable, friendly, caring and knowledgeable regarding my children's care. The staff are supportive of my child and any of my wishes regarding comforters, bottles etc. Both my children have attended and I strongly believe it did/does them the world of good. It sets them up and prepares them for school life and both of my children have strong friendships with others at nursery.

My daughter has been going to this nursery for nearly 6 months and it has been amazing, all the staff are lovely and friendly and I couldn't imagine her going anywhere else best nursery so far and she loves it so much.

All 3 of my children have attended this nursery and it is by far the best nursery we have used (out of 3). The staff are kind and caring - my children have all bonded and settled quickly as a result. They really enjoy it there. The home-cooked food is good and they always eat it all. They always seem happy when I pick them up having had lots of fun. I have no complaints at all!
