MRN believes in the 'shared care' of children whereby parents work in partnership and contribute to the shared information between home and nursery.

Parent's involvement is critical to their child's care and early learning, so staff are always on hand to discuss concerns, suggestions or queries.

The team are fully committed to regular communication between parent and the child's key worker; in addition parents have full access to their child's personal file as well as a daily report sheet.

Our son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at this nursery. The staff are so welcoming when he arrives and genuinely seem to really care about him. He gets to do all manners of activities and always eats really well there. The flexibility around drop off and pick up is a real help in our line of work too.
I'd definitely recommend this nursery to any parents.

I have used Magic Roundabout for the last five years for two of my children. A fantastic group of people. I must commend the manager for her amazing leadership, I true asset to the nursery.
They have helped my children to develop their speech, their fine motor skills and even managed to crack potty
training!
The only one negative about the place is the senior management who you do not see day to day. They occasionally turn up in their Mercedes AMG and I would actually say they were a little rude.
Apart from that, I think it’s a fantastic nursery with lovely events and great people - thank you.

We've had experience of Magic Roundabout Nursery over a combined period of five years with both of our children attending. The experience throughout has been very positive; a warm and caring environment in which the children have thrived, eaten well, made friendships (as have the parents) and enjoyed
every minute. I've been particularly impressed with how they've developed their knowledge of art and languages, and the comprehensive learning records we've had back. The staff have also been excellent and show real love towards the children they're responsible for, as well as forming good relationships with the parents. Facilities are good, with a decent-sized outdoor play area and secure shelters for parking buggies/bikes. This nursery has been part of our lives for several years, and we fully move into primary school life with some great memories and happy to recommend to other parents in the area.

Our two children have had a great time at the Magic Roundabout Nursery Bristol. The staff have always lovingly cared for our children and engaged them in fun and educational activities. They are both at school now, and the staff have helped them get ready for school. I would highly recommend the nursery.

My 20-month-old son just started in Magic Roundabout Nursery last month and we are so happy with the nursery. He developed so much since he started, he loves the food, he loves the staff, he is really happy there. The garden is great and the atmosphere is just really good. We feel that we are also a
key piece for the nursery that always tries to involve the parents as much as they can. I would recommend this nursery with no doubt!

My child has been attending the nursery for over 6 months, he has a great relationship with his key person and we received detailed feedback at the end of the day. The nursery has had lots of work done to the environment including a new garden and decorating the rooms. The staff are very attentive and
knowledgeable. I feel my child is very well looked after and enjoys his time spent there.

Our 18-month old son has been attending the Magic Roundabout Nursery for about 6 months now. From the settling in period, we've been nothing but happy and impressed with the care he's been receiving. He can't wait to go in the morning and runs into his room when we drop him off. He's really attached
to the carers looking after him and they've also all taken the time to get to know him very well, and they now have a lovely relationship.
He loves the food and has second serving pretty much every single day. The opening times are also very convenient and particularly the fact that we are charged per day and not by the hour (which means we do not have to run if we are 5 mins late to pick him up).
I've been recommending the nursery to friends and will continue to do so!

My child loves going there and has a great rapport with the staff. She loves the activities they do and the attention that each of the teachers gives her at different times. The routines are well ingrained in her. She likes the food and loves when they make bread rolls or cake buns as an activity. The
newly refurbished outdoor space is a real gem.

My daughter has been going here for 18 months and loves it. The staff are so good with her and she is always talking about them at home.


She does loads of different activities (even learning Mandarin) and has lots of outside play time, the outside space has recently been done up and is fantastic.

I am very pleased with the care my little one receives. The staff are all lovely and seem to genuinely care for him. They do a range of activities and he is excited to attend.
When he started, the settling in period was made as smooth as possible, I never felt worried about leaving him and my child
is quite “clingy” I knew that he would have as many cuddles as he needed. I really liked that the key worker came to visit him at home to get to know him better.
He has been going for 6 months now and they are renovating the outside space and making improvements inside which will further improve things.
The food is good, well he always seems to have seconds. The communication between nursery and parents is good.
I don’t have experience with any other nursery but I am very pleased with this one.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for over 3 years and really enjoys it. She has a great relationship with the staff and has learnt a lot of new skills including some Mandarin!


My 18 month old son now attends the nursery too and is always happy to see the staff and be left there for the

day.

Very happy and supportive environment. Our daughter goes off quite happily in the mornings and comes home babbling about what she has been doing all day. The staff are always pleased to see her and fill us in in detail about what she has been doing when we collect her.

My daughter is very happy to go to the 'talking school', I feel like her language and other skills are developed and cared for there. The nursery tries their very best to accommodate little ones' individual needs. The staff are lovely and patient with the kids, there used to be an issue with a turnover
but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, it feels like a stable environment and my daughter feels safe there. I have already recommended Magic Roundabout Nursery to friends and family and will continue to do so!

Magic Roundabout is a wonderful place, the staff are attentive, supportive and caring and have gone above and beyond for my children. The facilities are really good and the children are kept busy with lots of activities, my children have thrived and are very happy at the nursery. I’m really impressed

Anna Secanska

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2006

Anna joined MRN in 2006. Anna holds a BA in Education Studies and since working with children her passion has been to create a relaxing and happy environment where children feel secure and happy. Have close relationships with the practitioners, children and the local community. Anna pedagogy is inspired by Reggio Emilia approach and this is reflected in the nursery environment which is set up in a way that sparks children’s curiosity, passion for learning and overall happy memories.
