Acorns Henbury Hill is a charming listed building, which has impressive gardens and views that stretch for miles across the Bristol Channel. With plenty of open space this Forest School site is an exceptional resource that the children love to explore.

Spacious airy play rooms and play lofts with wonderful purpose-made resources ensure that every child has a wealth of opportunities to discover and explore.

Food is cooked on site by resident cooks, ensuring the children have home-cooked delicious healthy meals every day.

Regular visits by an Early Years Teacher follows the Foundation Phase which links with the National Curriculum to ensure children find the transitions from nursery to school as easy as possible, and home links and school links with local primary schools are encouraged. A SENCO coordinator provides additional support for children with additional needs.

All Acorns Nurseries operate an 'Open Door' policy and encourage prospective parents to come and have a look round at any time.

My son has been attending the nursery for around two years. I've been super impressed by their warmth, positivity and engagement. I trust my son being there 100% and he enjoys his time there. This is the most beautiful nursery in Bristol, with best facilities and staff. My son settled instantly and loved going there from day one. It will always be my recommendation as number 1 in Bristol! Staff is brilliant in engaging with children and so caring, they have so many activities to offer, brilliant
forest school, PE for pre-school, music activities and many other things. My son goes there with a smile on his face every day.

A wonderful place for your child to develop. Both my children, two boys have attended full time and have loved every moment there. The facilities are first class and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I could not recommend enough. Brilliant nursery. Many thanks.

My child has been attending Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol since last January and he absolutely loves it. From the moment we stepped into Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol we felt that it was the right nursery for us. Our son immediately bonded with his key workers and he absolutely loves the daily routine
and activities. Getting the observations throughout the week gives us insight into how he spends his time and all the lovely educational activities he takes part in. The staff and all the management team are really amazing and always so helpful and supportive. Both inside and outside facilities are awesome, the setting is always super clean and the meals provided are very healthy. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone! It's ten out of ten!

Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol is the best nursery I could choose for my little one. My son has been at Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol for almost four months and I feel so thankful for my choice. He started at nine months and I can honestly say its like his second home. The staff are so friendly, caring,
kind and the management team has a huge smile and warm welcome every morning, they are always willing to respond to any queries you may have. The staff prepares a variety of activities for the children helping their development and learning through playing. The daily routine is so well organised, the nursery is always so clean and the facilities are excellent. My son seems to enjoy nursery and he is always very happy at the end of the day.

Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristole nursery is amazing, I was so worried about my 19 month old starting nursery last month but they put my mind at ease and we’re amazing. After looking at many nurseries it just didn’t feel right until I looked at Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol and just got such a warm, welcoming
feeling and knew straight away this was the right nursery. Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol is a beautiful building with lovely big gardens, has lots of resources and provide great, stimulating activities for the children that you wouldn’t even think of. My daughter already talks about the girls in her nursery group. All the staff are so friendly, make you feel at ease and give great feedback and updates about my child’s day and development. I also love seeing the photos of her in nursery enjoying herself, she always comes home happy. So thank you to Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol for this, if I have any more children in the future they will definitely be coming here without a doubt.

Acorns is a wonderful nursery. My child attended Acorns when she was 10 months till 4 years, it has a fantastic outdoor space. The rooms have a fantastic setup and lots of fun-filled activity all day every day. The staff are very welcoming and the care for the children is of a very high standard. I
would highly recommend Acorns to anyone who is looking for a nursery with a homely feeling to it. The feedback at the end of the children’s day is a very big comfort and you can tell all the children enjoy coming to nursery and that they have lots of fun.

Our son has been at Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol for two and a half years and our daughter started last week. Throughout our son's time, we have been extremely happy with the nursery and staff. Our daughter's start has reminded us how great the staff are to help children adjust and enjoy their time
at Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol. The staff are caring and open. On a couple of occasions they have helped us agree a "strategy" of how to help our son together, when he went through a tricky phase, this has been very reassuring.

I cannot recommend Acorns Henbury Hill, Bristol enough. I sent my oldest son here for all his preschool and now my younger son is attending, they both love it here. The staff are very attentive, caring and qualified. I have complete trust in leaving my son here. The resources are great and they have
such a wide range available to them. My son always comes home exhausted after his full fun days here. The variety of food offered is always great and nutritious, there is always plenty of it as my son often has seconds. The outdoor space is versatile and there is plenty for all the children to enjoy and enough outside time through the day. From the beginning, I never had any hesitation that this nursery was where my children needed to be and I have never questioned my decision.

My son has been at Acorns Henbury since he was 12 months old - he is now nearly 3. He has absolutely loved it. The staff are great and truly care about the children. The rooms are lovely and there are lots of fun activities for the children. The garden spaces are a big hit with my son, and they get
to go out in them as much as possible. They have coped with all the stresses that the last year and the covid pandemic has thrown at them, and it is has been well run and organised throughout. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Henbury Hill House Acorns is a fantastic nursery. Each member of staff is kind, caring and genuinely interested in providing the best care and education for the children. Activities are carefully planned based on the individual interests and development of the children and every day is varied with a
combination of physical activities, music, imaginative play and sensory play. The building and grounds are excellent and inviting. My daughter settled very quickly at 10 months and has thrived over the past year. She looks forward to nursery and talks happily about the staff and her friends. Staff communicate exceptionally well with parents and carers. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I knew that Henbury Hill was the right choice for my son as soon as I visited. He settled in very quickly which made my return to work so much easier. He's 16 months old now and enjoys such a fantastic range of activities which aid his development and learning. Both of his key workers have been so helpful
and nothing is too much trouble. I am so impressed with the level of care they provide and I can see that my son is very happy there and is growing in confidence every day.

I cannot speak highly enough of Acorns Henbury Hill. My older daughter recently 'graduated' from the nursery after three happy years in attendance, extremely well prepared for the transition to school. The care and attention of the staff over her time at the nursery led to huge developments in her confidence.
Her younger sister has now attended the nursery for approximately ten months and over that time the staff have worked tirelessly to ensure she has become well integrated into the nursery and I have absolutely no qualms leaving her in their care. Although Henbury Hill could be considered a relatively large nursery, it is extremely personal; very early on I was struck by the fact that every member of staff knew my child's name despite her only attending the setting twice a week. I cannot praise the nursery staff enough, they all have a genuine passion for their roles and as such the care the children receive is exemplary. The spacious setting and facilities are a happy bonus!

We are so happy we chose this nursery. Our son (15-months) who's been attending for 3-months loves it, his face lights up now when he recognises the entrance door! He doesn't want to leave either at the end of the day. This in itself, shows how happy he is but also, we are very happy with all the staff
and their willingness to accommodate trying new things with our son's eating/sleeping routine. I find everyone very friendly and welcoming. Particularly, we've been so impressed with our key worker who's been great from the start and really helped my son and us feel comfortable with him starting nursery. She's always so engaged, energetic and invested in our son's development.
The activities are very varied and have helped our son's development.
Whenever I've had a query with management, it has been dealt with efficiently.
