The Old School House Day Nursery

The staff are all amazing, so friendly and committed and we could not have asked for better key workers for our child.

Outstanding nursery setting, all staff are so helpful and friendly and willing to go that extra mile. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery, especially her key worker who is just amazing! She is continually learning new skills, language and social skills and her development just keeps growing. I have had two children at The Old School House Day Nursery and I wouldn’t send them anywhere else, best nursery for miles!

I am so delighted that my grandson attends this nursery. He had settled in brilliantly in his new room and the transition has been seamless. He loves his days there and tells me all about it when he comes to visit. When I collect him, the keyworker's commitment to the children is so obviously outstanding and I am so impressed by their awareness of the child's day which can give me a real understanding of his experiences. I am genuinely impressed with this nursery.

My son is very active and he is very excitable, he is always entertained at nursery with lots of messy play and time in the garden both of which he really enjoys. He is very happy and excited to go to nursery every day.

I'm so pleased I decided on The Old School House for my daughter to attend. The staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with her learning, social skills and speech. Handover is very helpful, with passing over information, progress and day to day information of what my daughter has achieved. There is no place else I would want my daughter to attend. She is happy and content.

We have been using this nursery since 2019, first for our daughter and now also for our little boy, who currently attends the baby room. The staff are all superb and extremely friendly and caring. Our little boy has a wonderful relationship with his key person which is so important and I am so very grateful for this. I can’t rate her highly enough. Management is highly organised and quick to respond and address anything as soon as possible. They are always understanding and go out of their way to make things the best it can possibly be for both children and parents. Old School House is a fantastic nursery and we are so very grateful to have found them for both our children.

As a lockdown baby, we were very apprehensive about how our little one would settle in. Management answered all our questions and eased our worries during booking his introduction. Throughout his time at nursery, (six month) his key worker and team have been incredible. They have got to know him and his likes and supported his learning in a variety of ways. His language and play have come on leaps and bounds. When he is upset or teething, his keyworker and team are able to soothe him and by knowing his likes and use this to their advantage. Communication has been amazing and they have adapted to this difficult time to ensure parents are still included.

I feel since my child has started nursery, he has developed in every aspect of his early years. His speech, communication, social skills and his willingness to interact and play with other children, has been excellent. Overall, we are extremely happy with his experience at the nursery.

Excellent nursery. We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives at the nursery. She was very unsettled when she started, due to a medical condition. Her key worker and team have been a great support in adjusting to her needs and now she walks in with smiles and has the best time. Her bond with her keyworker is amazing. All staff are welcoming and caring. All four of my children have attended this nursery and it is the best - all thriving.

The Old School House is a fantastic nursery - both my children attend and I wouldn't want them to go anywhere else. The staff are warm, welcoming and genuinely care about the children in their care. We get updates on their progress and time at the nursery and the whole nursery feels like an extended part of our family. Both our children love attending and get so many opportunities to do and try different things. I couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough.

I love getting moments and observations publish throughout the day from the team about how my daughters doing and when she has eaten and slept. The wonderful photos of her smiling laughing, playing and learning mean so much, especially when I'm working and missing her.

Fantastic activities completed on a daily basis. My son is constantly learning and exploring new crafts. The surroundings inside and outside are stimulating. The menu is varied and healthy. I would highly recommend The Old School House.

I can not shout out how amazing this nursery is.

Our daughter has settled in very quickly at The Old School House. All staff have been attentive and caring, and I can see that our daughter enjoys her time there.

We have daily communication with the nursery via the app, and the staff have made themselves available to discuss anything in more detail. The facilities at The Old School House look great, and the range of the new skills our daughter has developed since being at The Old School House confirms to me that she is taking part in a wide range of age-appropriate activities.

Given COVID restrictions, The Old School House has made our daughter's transition to nursery very easy. I look forward to when parents are allowed back into the nursery environment so that I can see my daughter in the nursery setting.

Our son has been at The Old School House Day Nursery since six months old. We have been constantly impressed at all aspects the nursery have to offer, the very high standard of all staff, we will be very sad to say goodbye in September when our son starts school.

My daughter started at the nursery over a year ago, she loves it, is always happy to go. Staff/management attentive and friendly. We are delighted with the nursery!
