An efficiently and professionally run nursery with friendly and warm staff. I feel confident I'm leaving my daughter in safe and competent hands. She really enjoys her time at Busy Bees and I enjoy the regular updates I receive on the app. Very happy with all aspects of the care she receives and particularly
impressed by the varied and healthy menu, which I believe is superior to other nurseries, as well as the high standards of cleaning and security.

We have 2 children at Busy Bees St Neots with our eldest having attended since 2017 and now in pre-school and our youngest having just started in the baby room. The nursery has fantastic facilities having just undergone a full refurbishment and has an excellent outdoor space. Staff at the nursery have
been first class throughout in our experience, they have helped our children settle in and support their development at each stage and communication with us has been great. Overall though our children have been very happy and excited to attend each day, having made friends and having a great relationship with their key workers which I think is the best feedback possible. We would highly recommend the nursery to friends and family.

This is an amazing nursery. The setting is lovely. Huge windows let in lots of light, the garden is huge with lots of room to run around, a safe enclosed space for the babies and a huge variety of open-ended toys. The rooms are wonderfully set up with open-ended toys, lots of books and a wide range
of activities. The food is healthy and tasty and the staff do not pressure the children to eat it. However, the best thing about this nursery is the staff. They are warm, friendly, kind and caring. They are so intuitive and kind to the children. They work so hard to set up interesting activities for the children. I feel happy leaving my child with them. This is everything I looked for in a nursery. Thank you Busy Bees, my child is so happy to go here.

Busy Bee's is a friendly and inclusive nursery. My daughter has attended since the age of 1 (now 3). We were nervous about the step back into nursery after three months off but after a few tears on the first day back, she now walks back through the door waving goodbye. The team have taken the time and
energy to get to know us not only as the parents but also as a family. Since going back I feel that every measure has been taken to ensure the safety of the children and staff. The bubbles give the children the freedom to play with one another.
Busy Bees gives my daughter a more worldly knowledge, playing with other children, trying food she may not eat at home and discovering and learning through play.
My son will be starting soon and although tough to let go I know that the team will do there utmost to make him feel at home.

My daughter has attended Busy Bee's since she was 12 months old, it was the best decision we made for when I returned to work. All staff are so welcoming and my daughter loves it here. The facilities are really well kept and the outdoor space is so lovely for the children.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees since she was 18 months old and she is very sad leaving as she has to go to school.
From day one, my child loved this nursery. She is always looking forward to seeing her friends and child minders. The atmosphere is amazing there, each child and parent treated
with a high level of respect and care. We have never had a single issue there. Whenever we had a question or request it was always dealt with professionally but also with care. Each member of staff starting from the manager to chef are always there to assist and they know each child's likes/dislikes. Chef - made my child like the food she would never like before and now whenever I cook I have to tell her that it is the chef's recipe.
Thank you so much for caring for my girl, for your hard work and for being such an amazing team. Thank you.

My son has been at Busy Bees Nursery for 18 months now. He really enjoys it! The staff in each room are friendly, caring and quick to build relationships with him, as he progresses through each age group. The outside space is great, with plenty of room for playing and running around. There is a
healthy, varied food menu. Each room is a lovely, bright space, all recently refurbished. Communication is very good, from the management, his key worker and room staff. The nursery are keen to hear about his interests and any areas of development I would like to be encouraged. They have also been very good during the period of Covid-19 and I have every confidence that they are doing all they can to keep the children safe.

We visited three nurseries in the area, with Busy Bees being the first, and every other one we went to just didn’t compare to Busy Bees St Neots. Our son has been attending since he was nine months old and now at nearly two he is thriving and LOVES going to nursery and seeing some of his favourite people.
I can not fault the staff and the way they make you feel so welcome and at ease with leaving our little boy with them. The setting is perfect for us and the play garden is amazing. I would highly recommend Busy Bees to anyone looking for a nursery in the area. They are the best.

Fantastic nursery, my daughter has been attending for around 2 years and thrived since day one. The staff are amazing, attentive warm and friendly, my daughter loves them as if they were members of her family. Updates are frequent and informative and before global issues, there was plenty of opportunities
for parents to become involved.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees formerly Treetops for a little over 2 years. She loves it and learns every day. Great outdoor space and lots of activities take place in the garden. The early start in the morning helps me balance work and family life.

We looked at three other nurseries in the area, and this is the only one we really liked. I was very anxious when leaving my then one-year-old on his first day but the staff were so wonderful and made me feel very welcome to phone at any time to check on my son. Two years later and my little boy absolutely
loves it. Throughout Covid-19 isolating at home the nursery have remained in touch and sent videos of little clips of the staff singing, reading, etc. which has been so lovely. My son returned this week after two months and the first morning was quite upsetting for both of us but within five minutes of him returning he had settled back in. To my absolute delight on collecting him, he was so, so happy and came bouncing out after having a fantastic day. On his second day no tears and was so delighted and full of beans on collection.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the manager and all the wonderful team for making our children so happy whilst in their care. I know he is in safe caring hands.

Myself and my partner looked at 3 different nurseries before we went to Busy Bees St Neots, we knew straight away that this was the one for us and would be signing our child up to start asap. We felt welcomed by all and we loved the concept of the different room setups and was very impressed with the
garden area – which was a major plus for us as our daughter loves to play outside. We are very happy with the care, support and encouragement shown towards the development of our child. Everyone at Treetops are so friendly and just fantastic it’s just such a nice feeling that we know our child is being cared for and absolutely enjoys her time there. I enjoy hearing about her day from how long she naps to what she has eaten. I love the divide in the day and that they get to spend lots of time outside (weather permitted) So, if you’re thinking of taking your child to any nursery in the St Neots area then Busy Bees is a definite must. Looking forward for my child to create many more memories.

Busy Bees St Neots is simply outstanding. It is for sure a hidden gem amongst many other nurseries nearby. My daughter absolutely loves it here as do myself and my partner. My daughter started when she was 13 months. She is always so excited about going to nursery and never wants to leave when I pick
her up. She has made some great relationships with children and has for sure built up special/strong relationships with the staff, not just her key workers but others that also work there. They all seem to know who my little girl is and always tell me how friendly and lovely she is which makes me as a mum feel so proud of her. The staff do go the extra mile for all children; getting to know them all individually and what their favourite things to do at home are so they can implement them in their time at nursery. The new refurbishment that got carried out recently was done with absolutely no disruption to the child’s day and it looks amazing.

My son has flourished since attending this nursery, his confidence has grown and he's become a really happy boy. The staff make it what it is, there's been a fairly high turn around but it seems to have settled but it doesn't matter because they're all lovely and are genuinely interested in your child
and you can tell they know them. I wouldn't even consider moving him now he's so happy and settled.

I have had nothing but great things to say about Treetops. My daughter's key worker is so very kind, caring and my daughter is besotted with her. She also call's another lady her third Nanny - so she is also close to her. All the staff are easy to talk to and very helpful. I'm so very happy with the
place and I'm sad that she will be leaving in September to start school.

Treetops has been fantastic for our daughter and couldn't be happier with the care and support that she receives. Both working full time, it was a big thing for us to find a nursery that we are comfortable with. Treetops and the staff there have been a great help. The staff at Treetops have really helped
with her development and with her general manners. I could not be happier with our choice of nursery. Mainly our daughter gets on with all the staff and is happy while she's there, and you can see how much the staff care for the children.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.881)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.881) out of 10 for Busy Bees St Neots is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.958 for Busy Bees St Neots is calculated as follows: ( (69 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.958
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.923 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees St Neots is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 93 number of registered child places is 18.6. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.6 = 0.323
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
