Our children love it here. They really want to go each morning and love spending time with their friends and the staff here. The facilities are amazing and the external visitors and trips out are great.

Excellent nursery with fantastic facilities. I have not seen any others come close. Staff are great with some excellent practitioners. Food served nourishing and healthy. The children are very happy and it's so reassuring to know the children are happy and well looked after.

My two children (3 and 4 now) attend for one school day. They are very happy at Green Roots and are very busy and stimulated all day long.
The staff are very friendly and approachable.
I love the fact that they are able to get fresh air and exercise and play outdoors in all weathers.
The food is
fresh and home cooked. I only wish my two would be a bit more adventurous and try different things!

Green Roots has given my daughter such confidence over the last few years. The staff are so kind and caring with a real child-centred approach to learning. As a parent, I feel so confident and comfortable leaving my daughter at this centre and I really feel like my concerns and feelings are listened

The nursery has been excellent since the moment my daughter joined a year ago age ten months. The environment first attracted me, with its free flow ethos and clean new equipment. The garden is super and sensory dream for babies and toddlers. I loved the organic, and Eco-friendly values of the nursery,
and the diverse multicultural menu. When my daughter developed food allergies they were able to accommodate her with ease. The staff are super and the keyworker system
Is excellent, taking care to provide comprehensive reports so I still feel included in my daughters day and her enjoyment. The flexible policy of the nursery in relation to the sessions offered and the ability to swap them has made getting a work-life balance a lot easier. The managers genuinely care about each and every child and are responsive and helpful. My daughter beams at the prospect of nursery, it's made returning to work a lot easier.

Absolutely wonderful nursery. Both my children settled in immediately and they always look forward to going to Green Roots. They often charge in without even saying goodbye.
The staff are all wonderful and very friendly.
The setting itself is light and airy and always clean.
It is very safe and
secure.
There are always lots of activities for the children. My children always have so much fun, they go in happy and leave happy.

We have 2 daughters that attend Green Roots. They both love it and always come home with lots to tell us about and absolutely shattered. They have both made great friends through nursery.
Beach school is great, with other trips out too. Food is fresh and there is a good variety. Staff are friendly
and helpful.

My daughter is extremely happy at Green Roots and the staff are wonderful.
I love the babydays website where the day's activities and photos get uploaded to, a great way to track her development progress.
She has a dairy intolerance and she is able to manage this at the nursery by being on the menu
b - which is for special diets.

We love the free flow environment that allows the children to play indoors or outdoors anytime they choose. Everything is well looked after and the facilities excellent. The level of care is outstanding and our children are so happy and settled.
Our eldest daughter has enjoyed so many experiences
such as, beach school and visiting the library. Our youngest too has enjoyed the visitors that regularly come to the nursery.
The quality of the food was very important to us and we know that at Green Roots our children get fantastic meals, freshly prepared with excellent ingredients. They are offered meals that we like to cook at home and not the usual 'children's food' you get at some settings. The online diary is updated each day with a summary of what the children have done, how well they've eaten, progress observations and photos. We are so thankful that our children are having such a positive experience and we would recommend Green Roots without reservation.

Since attending Green Roots my son has come on leaps and bounds with regards to his confidence, social skills and language.
The staff are attentive and caring and support through any big changes, e.g toilet training as well as usual development milestones.
The weeks are well planned out with exciting
and engaging activities, the children are encouraged to use the lovely outside space. The menu is diverse and all made on site by the great chefs.
It's not the cheapest nursery but it is worth every penny and the 'babydays' system gives great peace of mind for when you are not with your child.

We were so nervous of our shy girl starting nursery and weren't sure what to expect. We had heard good things about Green Roots but also saw other recommended places which had been a long way from what we would have wanted.
Since the very beginning, we have found Green Roots to be second to none
in everything - location, warmth, healthy food, flexibility, wonderful activities and wonderfully friendly staff.
We were told by friends it could take months for our child to settle in, but after just three weeks our little one was waving us goodbye, blowing kisses to all the staff and growing daily in confidence.
We could not be happier. Highly recommend!

I'm very happy with the care, understanding and attention to detail from all the staff.
I love being able to view my child on the screen in the parent area too.
I have had extra help and advice to deal with behaviour issues and I was so pleased to be able to get my second child in too.

Green Roots nursery is fantastic. Our son has been attending for the last two years. The staff are great! Professional, caring and always helpful with any needs of the children, helping them through their stages of development. The feedback and daily updates on our sons day and progress help us to see
what he's been up to each day and identify where he needs additional support. I have recommended Green Roots to friends without hesitation as I feel they provide a great environment for our son.

I cannot recommend Green Roots enough. We have been at Green Roots for almost 3 years, I now have 2 children there and both a flourishing beyond belief.
The owners are caring and know every child, they go above and beyond expectations. All staff are amazing and approachable. What this nursery offers
is exceptional from the setting to the garden and regular trips out. They are alway making improvements. I'm not sure what's left.

My son has been at Green Roots for 3 years and we have been so pleased with the nursery. The staff are caring, excellent facilities, lovely food cooked by the onsite chef and there are lots of activities. We know he'll be so sad to leave this August when he starts school as he enjoys coming to the nursery

The service provided by Green Roots is exceptional in every way. I am delighted with the range and type of stimulation available to my daughter and am regularly surprised by the team's innovative ideas which are turned into educational fun e.g. arranging for a bus to come on site for a week as part
of road safety activities, beach school, growing plants. Parents are encouraged to get involved and have the opportunity to comment on new menus, attend open days to see what their children get up to and this is in addition to the daily, personalised reports and photos on Babydays.
The atmosphere at Green Roots is extremely friendly yet 100% professional. I've complete peace of mind that my daughter is secure, safe and has bags of fun on a daily basis. I've already recommended the nursery to multiple other Mums and I'm pleased to be an advocate for their services.

My son attended Green Roots for a year and a half before he started school and I was very impressed with the way his key workers identified his strengths and ensured he was sufficiently stimulated and encouraged in his preparation for school as well as how his key workers helped us to encourage his
positive social interaction with others and how to be empathetic to others.


My daughter is still at Green Roots and since she started, she had just turned 1 year old (she is now 2 1/2) her confidence has blossomed, she is less clingy on me and she building relationships with her key workers and her peers. I am particularly impressed with my daughter's key worker and the care she puts into her regular reviews of my daughter's progress.
Finally, I have been impressed with both the number of extra visits from firemen, policemen, nurses etc... that are arranged and the music and dance lessons, as well as the visits to the beach and tuppeny barn Green Roots, arrange at preschool age- my son loved these trips out.

I was delighted to open Green Roots Nursery in September 2013. I’ve always been passionate about childcare and I wanted to set up a nursery that was exceptional in terms of the nurturing care and attention that it gave to the children and also the service that it provided for parents. As an accredited Child-minder for many years, I learnt the importance of understanding each child’s individual needs and the benefits of providing each child with the opportunity to have real life experiences and be active indoors and out.


As a parent of young children myself I recognise the challenges of trying to balance all aspects of family life and we’re determined to help all of parents with this by making things as easy and convenient as possible.
