Green Roots Nursery & Preschool

Our children love it here. They really want to go each morning and love spending time with their friends and the staff here. The facilities are amazing and the external visitors and trips out are great.

Excellent nursery with fantastic facilities. I have not seen any others come close. Staff are great with some excellent practitioners. Food served nourishing and healthy. The children are very happy and it's so reassuring to know the children are happy and well looked after.

The food is fresh and home cooked. I only wish my two would be a bit more adventurous and try different things!

Green Roots has given my daughter such confidence over the last few years. The staff are so kind and caring with a real child-centred approach to learning. As a parent, I feel so confident and comfortable leaving my daughter at this centre and I really feel like my concerns and feelings are listened too.

Is excellent, taking care to provide comprehensive reports so I still feel included in my daughters day and her enjoyment. The flexible policy of the nursery in relation to the sessions offered and the ability to swap them has made getting a work-life balance a lot easier. The managers genuinely care about each and every child and are responsive and helpful. My daughter beams at the prospect of nursery, it's made returning to work a lot easier.

Green Roots is a friendly & professionally run nursery. I have full confidence in leaving my 18-month-old there - knowing that she will be safe and also stimulated. Every day she has a different learning focus. I have seen the impact first hand as she has grown in confidence significantly since she began at Green Roots.

There are always lots of activities for the children. My children always have so much fun, they go in happy and leave happy.

Beach school is great, with other trips out too. Food is fresh and there is a good variety. Staff are friendly and helpful.

She has a dairy intolerance and she is able to manage this at the nursery by being on the menu b - which is for special diets.

The quality of the food was very important to us and we know that at Green Roots our children get fantastic meals, freshly prepared with excellent ingredients. They are offered meals that we like to cook at home and not the usual 'children's food' you get at some settings. The online diary is updated each day with a summary of what the children have done, how well they've eaten, progress observations and photos. We are so thankful that our children are having such a positive experience and we would recommend Green Roots without reservation.

It's not the cheapest nursery but it is worth every penny and the 'babydays' system gives great peace of mind for when you are not with your child.

I have had extra help and advice to deal with behaviour issues and I was so pleased to be able to get my second child in too.

Green Roots nursery is fantastic. Our son has been attending for the last two years. The staff are great! Professional, caring and always helpful with any needs of the children, helping them through their stages of development. The feedback and daily updates on our sons day and progress help us to see what he's been up to each day and identify where he needs additional support. I have recommended Green Roots to friends without hesitation as I feel they provide a great environment for our son.

The owners are caring and know every child, they go above and beyond expectations. All staff are amazing and approachable. What this nursery offers is exceptional from the setting to the garden and regular trips out. They are alway making improvements. I'm not sure what's left.

We are thrilled with the nursery. It is clean, happy and the staff are always so helpful. They know our child's needs and the diary we receive after each day is so detailed. We couldn't be happier.

I feel my son is very happy and safe. Great facilities and lovely outside space where the children can go out whenever they want and play.

My son has been at Green Roots for 3 years and we have been so pleased with the nursery. The staff are caring, excellent facilities, lovely food cooked by the onsite chef and there are lots of activities. We know he'll be so sad to leave this August when he starts school as he enjoys coming to the nursery so much.

My son attended Green Roots for a year and a half before he started school and I was very impressed with the way his key workers identified his strengths and ensured he was sufficiently stimulated and encouraged in his preparation for school as well as how his key workers helped us to encourage his positive social interaction with others and how to be empathetic to others.
