Green Roots Nursery & Preschool

Green Roots has been an amazing nursery for our son. His confidence has grown and he has made great bonds with the staff, especially his key worker. He is learning so much in preschool and surprises me all the time with things he knows. He genuinely loves going and is sometimes sad to go home with Mummy! The food menu is superb and I am pleased with the variety and my little one eats everything when there! Overall a great nursery and I would thoroughly recommend it!

Chose this nursery for my daughter to start at 9 months old. She settled in very quickly and it was clear she was having a lot of fun. I was worried about whether she would sleep there but she quickly got into a good nap routine. The staff really care about the children and the nursery is run extremely well. The food menu is truly amazing. Sadly she cannot attend at the moment due to COVID 19 but I am sure she will be very happy to get back into the lovely gardens when she can.

Great communication, the daily online diaries are a great tool especially as hand overs can be so busy. My daughter has thrived at Green Roots, the nursery team are very forward thinking, always looking for new learning tools/ideas. As a team, they are always very helpful. The nutrition is great and the menu choices are always well thought out and healthy. I thoroughly recommend Green Roots.

My son started in the baby room when he was 11 months and is now in the bigger room and loves the days he goes to nursery. The outdoor space is great and they spend as much time outdoors as they can, alongside a really varied programme of yoga, sports and music workshops. Food is excellent and during their parent open days I tasted several dishes and they were delicious, with lots of healthy and different options. The staff there are an absolute credit to the nursery and we have had 2 brilliant key workers in both rooms. Communication is fantastic and they are always on hand to chat through any concerns with me, particularly when dropping naps and potty training. The BabysDays diary system works really well so you can see photos during the day and then have a diary summary. I really couldn’t recommend Green Roots more highly and there is nowhere else I would want my children to be at nursery.

My daughter (28 months) has been attending Green Roots since 9 months old and absolutely loves this nursery! As a teacher-parent one of my main priorities when choosing a nursery for my daughter was to find a setting with well-qualified staff. Green Roots has a number of practitioners educated to degree level and this is reflected in the enriching Early Years curriculum they provide which enables the children to meet their milestones. My daughter loves the large garden and the free flow set up allows children to choose between a range of inside or outside activities. A further selling point of this nursery has to be the menu of home-cooked dishes and snacks which encourage the children to try a variety of foods from all corners of the world! When dropping off in the morning my working mum guilt is eased knowing my daughter is in a nurturing environment which has become like a second home to her. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery!

Safeguarding is at the heart of every facet of Green Roots, which gives me complete peace of mind.

There are so many more things that the team at Green Roots do that make them only the nursery I would recommend.

My daughter loves it here, cannot fault Green Roots. All the staff are very professional, always helpful and the children adore them. There are cheaper nurseries but Green Roots is great value and you only have to provide spare clothes, everything else is provided. The food they provide is excellent and they cater for intolerances etc.

My daughter has been attending Green Roots since September and has not only come on leap and bounds but also has formed some amazing bonds with the staff. As a parent it's also nice to feel like you can approach the staff without hesitation. I have to say the food provided is also amazing!!

The manager is very accommodating and reassuring nothing it to much trouble, both my children have attended green roots and have recommended to many friends who children now also go there.

I have 2 children at Green Roots and I am so happy with the care they receive. They have come on leaps and bounds. The staff are all lovely, and my children have a really special bond with many of them. I'm more than happy to leave them in such a happy environment.

Definitely 10/10 from me.

Green Roots is a fantastic nursery. My son has been attending since February and is loving it - having never been to a nursery before. All the team - from the office to the key workers - are incredibly friendly, professional and supportive. The facilities are great - big open, light rooms with plenty of outdoor space that the children can access at any time. The range of activities for the children is excellent and the food menu is incredible.

Fabulous nursery. Our two children have been there part time and full time since they were both 6 months and we could not recommend it highly enough. To the extent over 4 families and neighbours have since joined on our feedback and open praise of the nursery. The facilities are outstanding, the food is something I would happily sit down and order in a restaurant, but most importantly the staff are phenomenal.

We have been attending Green Roots for the last 3 years and have always been absolutely delighted with our experience. The staff are all such incredible carers and educators. Our son has been so happy and we know that he will be well prepared to start school.

Our boy loves going to, every morning he has nursery, he wakes up easy, gets ready very quickly and is very exciting to go.

Being a first-time parent is hard enough but that doesn't stop life's other stressful events from happening too i.e sick pets, moving house, new job etc. I have turned up at the nursery in various states and the staff have always been happy to see us, happy to talk, genuinely interested and caring about whats going on. With all of life's craziness, Green Roots is my stable and have not let me down at all.

My child has attended Green Roots since the age of eight months. I feel that the nursery is extremely friendly and professional and that the care of the children is outstanding. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Green Roots is a very professional day nursery, my son loves his time here. He is always keen to attend, the staff are very attentive and fill their days with interesting, stimulating and fun activities. I love the fact they spend so much time outside playing, whatever the weather.

We have been extremely happy with the level of care shown to our daughter, she has been going there since she was 9 months old (now 3). She always enjoys going to nursery and staff always make her feel welcome and she has gained lots of friends. The staff are happy to make time to speak with us (if required) to discuss our daughters development and also have guided us as parents if we have asked for additional support- such as potty training. The out door play area is excellent.

My little girl has attended Green Roots since 13 months old and is now 3.5 years old. She has always enjoyed attending and as a working mum, there is nothing more reassuring than waving off a happy child in the mornings. She has always had outstanding care from all those that work with her.
