My son absolutely loves his key workers and he is doing so well with his learning. Every day I’m impressed with what he has learned. He knows his tens and is slowly learning placement value.
The Covid guidelines are well implemented and I do believe my kids are safe and protected as best as possible. They have also remained fully open unlike other local/smaller nurseries.
Having experienced two nurseries I really couldn’t recommend Busy Bees at Epsom more highly. Leaps and bounds ahead of other nurseries and I’m sure you won’t regret choosing them.
Busy Bees Epsom is a lovely nursery. My daughter really takes a liking to all her teachers who are very professional and easy to talk to. The activities they provide are always up to a great standard. I would recommend Busy Bees Epsom to anyone I know.
My daughter has been with the setting for almost 3 years now and she has thrived with the very caring and energetic team of staff. The space available from babies to pre-school is one of the best around the area and the segregated garden means they don't have to share outside time, which she loves. The fact it is surrounded by actual tress and they have a nature garden is an absolute plus. They have a very solid development plan for the children, which includes learning while playing and free cultural and social activities every month. Additionally, optional paid classes are offered, which are great for those who take it on. The engagement with parents for improvement and feedback is very good and adds to a very positive dynamic for improvements.
Our son has been at Busy Bees at Epsom for a year now. We are very happy with the care, support, guidance and encouragement shown towards the development of our child. The staff at the nursery are very helpful and accommodate requests. The staff are very friendly and they plan activities to help the development of the child which is great to see them do and also to see our son develop very well from doing these activities. Our son is very happy at the nursery. As parents, it great knowing he's been cared and looked after.
The staff are fantastic and really seem to care about the children they look after - he's made some great friends and has formed a close bond with a few members of staff in particular. I always know he's in safe hands and will have fun - I get excited updates from him at pick up each day!
Facilities are great, it's a real home from home and there are always plenty of organised activities and fun games (as well as the odd ad-hoc visit from pigs and ducklings, or celebration that parents can get involved in eg. over Christmas or Halloween!)
The garden is great and I love that the kids get to spend plenty of time outside each day. The food offered is lovely and varied and we get regular updates throughout the day on an app (it's always lovely to see photo's of the fun they're getting up to!)
I can't recommend this nursery enough, it's warm, friendly, professional and caring!
My eldest has just left nursery and was very ready for school due to the support given to her from Pre-school teachers. My youngest still enjoys playing and learning in a happy and safe environment, supported by caring staff.
Our son has been at Busy Bees Epsom for 3 and a half years. We were initially impressed by the home-like feel of the baby room and we have found our positive impression has continued all the way through to preschool. The staff are extremely caring and provide strong support to each child. A lot of effort is made on children's development and education. There is a qualified preschool teacher who is fantastic, with children learning phonics, numeracy and cultural skills in a small separate classroom. They are outside free playing in the garden every day and additional optional sport and drama classes are available from external providers who come in weekly.
I absolutely love this nursery. My daughter has been going here for 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier watching her grow and develop under the guidance of the lovely staff here. The facilities are immaculate and they are regularly coming up with new activities to keep the little ones engaged. I highly recommended this nursery.
Both our girls (4 and 2) have attended this nursery since they were 11 months. The eldest has just left preschool to go start school. The care they have received from the staff has been brilliant and they have really enjoyed their time there. The preschool seems to have laid some good groundwork as our eldest had settled well in school, partly due to the teaching she received in preschool. Throughout our time at nursery, there have been big transitions, e.g. the arrival of our youngest, our eldest leaving for school. At all of these times, there has been support from the staff to ensure minimal disruption for the children. The nursery hosts extra activities such as drama, sports etc which provides variety when the children have attended for a long time. But the best thing about this nursery is the staff. They are fully engaged and clearly know the children very well. I feel totally happy to leave my children in their care, which enables me to go to work happy!
My 3 year old son started here this week and I’m really impressed with how the staff have helped settle and support not just him but me as well. I would never have been able to have gone back to work if I didn’t feel like he was in a safe and happy environment and this nursery is very much that! The staff are very friendly and very knowledgable and you can see they really care for the children and want the best for them.
Recently the nursery has started offering a wider range of extra activities eg drama, sports and computer classes which is fantastic - especially for older kids who’ve been in full time for a long time.
I think most of the parents were as excited as the kids when they recently looked after several duck eggs from a local farm and we watched the ducklings hatch and grow. Amazing learning experience.
My little girl is in the pre-school room, she is so happy and content every time I go to collect her.
She is really excited about going into nursery in the mornings, and even asks to go on Fridays which is her day off!
The garden is lovely and especially the lovely nature garden is a favourite!
I would recommend this to anyone!
I would highly recommend this nursery.
My son is extremely happy and loves the new food menu, the variety of food is fantastic and it encourages him to try new things.
I would recommend anyone to come here. Everyone is so welcoming and its so reassuring to know when I drop my son off in the morning he is going to a safe place where he is going to be looked after as an individual.
My son started here at 9 months old. I was so nervous but he absolutely loves it. Every morning when we pull up he gets so excited to be back, you cannot ask for more than that. The staff are so friendly and lovely, they take such good care of my little boy. The rooms are bright and new, the activities the children do are brilliant and always different. My child has come along so much in his physical, emotional and verbal development in just 2 months. The children often go outside for fresh air, weather permitting. The facilities are all nice and new and kept clean and bright and colourful too. I have had complete peace of mind leaving my child here and that is priceless for a working mum.
My son has been very happy at Treetops so far and his enjoyment of life at the nursery is reflected in the speed of his development. The staff in both rooms he has been in have been great and I feel that he is safe and well looked-after. I feel confident that any issues in his development or well-being would be highlighted to me as a priority. There is a good variety of activities provided on a day-to-day basis and they also get the children into the garden on a frequent basis. The menu also appears to be balanced and varied.
Despite my fears, my daughter settled in very quickly in Treetops and that is a credit to all the staff who work there. They have been brilliant at keeping my daughter busy and engaged every day. We have seen her grow in her social and developmental skills, in the short time she has been here. The daily updates completed by the staff are very welcome at the end of the day by my husband and myself. There is also a good variation in meals during the week.
Treetops is a lovely nursery and our children (now into their third year) remain happy and settled. The staff are culturally diverse and feature both Men and Women (which I believe is a real plus). The addition of an Early Year specialist in Pre-School is also an added bonus. All staff (particularly Senior Management) are extremely supportive of both the children and their parents and want the best for the children.
As for the environment, resources are plentiful and up to date, the nursery is clean (having been recently renovated) and children have space (particularly in Pre-School and the baby room). Outdoor space is sufficient.
The nursery organises a calendar of fun events for the children such as dress up days, Easter bonnet parades and stay and plays where Parents can attend with their children and engage in fun activities.
Having looked at a great variety of nurseries when we moved into the area, I thoroughly recommend this nursery.
My older child had a relatively good understanding of phonics etc prior to starting school, however, the new classroom teacher in pre-school is amazing and my 3-year-old is in the same position now as when my older one had started reception.
All staff are excellent.
Communication is fantastic from room staff and management.
Lots of activities for the children, during the day and additional extra stay and play activities.
Activities are planned and varied, the detail captured in learning journeys, available for parent consultations or whenever you ask. The Early Years teacher in Pre-School is an enormous asset - my daughter was more than ready for school and the pressure is taken off parents to do so many things. Management has been AMAZING with managing invoices and childcare vouchers, understanding concerns and facilitating changes to routine or additional days during school holidays.

Hi, my name is Leah and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Epsom.
I have a big passion for childcare which I have done for 17 years in many different roles, and hold a level 3. I love seeing children thrive and progress as they grow and develop. I moved down from Scotland to Epsom 6 years ago with my family, where I have a son and daughter. I look forward to welcoming new families at our nursery in Epsom.
