Walton Montessori Nursery

My daughter has settled well and bonded with the staff who are caring and fun. They have great enthusiasm for new themes and different learning environments making the most of the resources they have.

We were unsure where to place our third child after a gap of 2 years out of nursery but have been delighted with Walton Montessori so far. We have used 2 other nurseries in Walton in the past with our other 2 children so know what the local competition is like. Despite all of the challenges of covid, the nursery has been fantastic for our first 4 months. Lovely staff, lovely safe environment, great communication and weekly updates with photos and quality commentary on our little boy and lots of fun activities every day. The staff have been stable and all seem very friendly. Our son reaches out to join them every morning. We couldn't be happier so far with the nursery and hope that others get to read this and feel confident in using this nursery.

After moving to the area and doing so much research and talking to many nursery’s, and doing viewings, I went to see the nursery. I was met by a member of staff to show me around, I found her so lovely and friendly with me and the staff and then I met another member of staff. She was the reason I went for the nursery. She went out of her way to find out about my son and interacted with him straight away without even knowing if I would choose the nursery. This put me at ease knowing I was leaving him with someone who would love and care for him and cuddle him if he hurt himself or just needed that reassurance.

Our son has attended the nursery for the last 2 and a half years. The nursery has recently undergone a massive overhaul and change of manager. We are very happy with the level of care our son has received and the numerous activities he has participated in and as a consequence how he has developed intellectually, emotionally and in himself. Very sad that his time is drawing to a close. There are particular members of staff which really go above and beyond and we really like the fact there is a male nursery staff member who is able to engage active boys so incredibly well.

Walton Montessori is a fantastic nursery! Both of my sons currently attend and they have come on in leaps and bounds. The nursery setting is boundless for little minds to explore and have fun in and the teachers are one in a million, they really care about the children and their learning. The weekly newsletter is a great read too! They are currently preparing my eldest for school in many ways and this will really help him in his transition to big school. All in all, I cannot recommend the nursery highly enough, they do a fantastic job every single day.

My son has attended Montessori since he was 2.5 years old having previously been with a childminder. He settled in ever so quickly making special bonds with other children and staff. He has learnt ever so much, he has lots of fun and has especially enjoyed Forest School and playball. He adores his key worker and they are always making very creative arts and crafts together. The newly refurbished room is fantastic. We have loved him being there and will miss all the lovely caring staff now he’s off to big school.

Our son has had a lovely educational journey at Walton Montessori. It was his first experience at a nursery and he was immediately made to feel welcome and settled in with ease. Everyone is so friendly and supportive and they provide you with regular feedback about your child's learning, eating and sporting achievements. The nursery coped really well with lockdown providing online support to the children via Zoom and ensuring the kids were always kept busy with abundant activities. I love the weekly newsletter we receive which gives an overview of their learning and weekly activities and I like that we get to see what our children have been up to via the app. Thank you for giving our son such a great start, he is more than ready for school now!

I cannot rate the staff at the nursery highly enough. I have been so happy leaving my two children here in their care. It has not always been easy given that they are both criers! The staff know exactly how to reassure the parents as well as the children. My children love their time at the nursery and for me, that was the main concern, that they were happy and cared for in a safe environment. Thank you for being brilliant Walton Montessori!

This is a lovely nursery with caring, engaging staff. The classroom is well set up with a range of fun activities for children participate in.

Forest School is a particular strength where the children learn about fire safety and enjoy exploring their environment outside.

The team are extremely approachable and will listen to any queries or concerns you might have, working hard to support the children in their learning and ensuring that their happiness is priority.

The newly refurbished rooms, furniture and equipment has been the icing on the cake as this has now provided an even more fabulous space for the children to learn and grow.

My daughter has attended since May and I honestly could not be happier. I leave for work knowing that she is in a safe and loving environment. The principle and the team at Montessori are genuine, loving, fun and caring. They are always on hand to talk to and will give me a full honest brief of her day. My daughter does not want to leave when I pick her up and has such a good relationship with the principle and her team. She has made lovely friends (and I have met lovely mums) and has come along leaps and bounds. I feel so lucky to have the Montessori on my doorstep they really made my transition back to work easy. I would recommend this nursery to all.

We put our son into Walton Montessori in the summer after moving into the area. We chose the nursery as we liked the Montessori ethos but also the forest school on site.

Since joining, my son has settled quickly and loves attending and talks about all the members of staff all the time and how they are his friends.

We have been really pleased with our choice of nursery and I feel our son will be ready for reception next Autumn. I would recommend the nursery to any parent.

It is an excellent nursery with staff who are warm and caring. They take the time to provide an update and explain progress if prompted. My daughter is well looked after in every way.

Having moved our little girl from another nursery in the area, we have been absolutely delighted with Walton Montessori. The staff are exceptional, so caring, diligent and professional. My little girl is very shy and skipped in after her first day, she now asks to go on her days off! The staff do so much with her, she does Forest school, playball and athletics alongside the usual painting, drawing etc activities. Such a difference to our last nursery- a genuinely lovely atmosphere which is nurturing whilst encouraging independence. They have also been very flexible in giving me extra days at short notice. I would recommend to anyone.

A wonderful nursery with exceptionally caring and supportive staff and management. Both our daughters have attended and have thrived in the nurturing environment.

My daughter has been going to Stagecoach Montessori since earlier this summer and settled in straight away - to the point where she doesn't say goodbye at drop off and doesn't want to come home at pick up! Laura and her team are so caring and their genuine enthusiasm and interest in the children shines through. I've also been extremely impressed with the Montessori methods of learning-through-play and feel that my daughter will be well prepared for reception next year following her time at Stagecoach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to others looking for a nurturing environment that enriches their children's lives and encourages their development in a gentle but considered way.
