Rocking Horse at The Nursery Family

Both our boys have attended Rocking Horse and we have had a wonderful experience with the nursery. Everyone there has gone out of their way to be helpful and supportive, the boys love all the staff members and both boys have benefited tremendously from a really focused, thoughtful curriculum.

We love Rocking Horse Nursery! It is a home away from home for our son. He attends nursery full time and he is always happy when we drop him off and collect him. We cannot find any fault with the staff. They are excellently trained and they really know our son and have his best interests (and ours) at heart. As parents, we feel secure in the knowledge that our son is well loved by everyone at Rocking Horse. Rocking Horse gives him the opportunity to grow, develop and explore in ways we could never have imagined possible. Thank you for all that you do!

My 9-month-old daughter has been at the nursery for a few months now, and the care and support from the staff there is second to none. My daughter is always really happy when she sees her key worker every morning and you can tell when you collect that she has so much fun. The daily diary helps me to see what she has done throughout the day, and to see what she has eaten etc. Food at the nursery seems varied and wholesome. My daughter loves to be outside in the garden with the variety of things for her to do, but her favourite is the water play from the pictures I have seen. The nursery ILD system is good and I can see observations/videos of my daughter's progress throughout her time at Rocking horse. I highly recommend this nursery, the staff go above and beyond for the children and parents.

My daughter attends Rocking Horse Nursery 3 full days from 8 am- 6 pm, she has gained so much confidence and has learnt a variety of skills whilst being here. Every nursery morning she is keen and confident with going to nursery and settles in at ease. She has a great relationship with each member of staff.

I love the learning log online that I can view and see what she has been doing/learning.

My daughter joined Rocking Horse a year ago. Since starting there her confidence has rocketed. The staff are all amazing and even those not in her room always take an interest in her and have a real bond with her. The local excursions they do are an added bonus (visits to Care Homes, Birdworld). As are the external people they have come into the nursery for extra learning (Music Mayhem, Spanish and cooking when they get to 3.) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rocking Horse to any other parents.

We have not looked back! That was 2 years ago!

Rocking Horse Nursery provide outstanding childcare across the board! From baby to prepare for school and early years curriculum. The staff build strong bonds with all the children and really take time to get to know them as individuals. They also communicate brilliantly with parents. My child has allergies and Rocking Horse Nursery have provided exemplary care for him throughout. I trust them completely to look after my child. My only regret is that my son has to go to school in September!

Both my daughter and currently my son have attended Rocking Horse and I can only say positive things regarding the staff, location, food, and the general high level of care they have both received.

Our little girl has been attending Rocking Horse for fourteen months, started when she was ten months old. She loves the nursery and is excited from the second we pull up. The staff are warm and friendly there is a family feel across all the rooms. This is reflected in the fact the staff are all long time members. Our little girl has flourished in this environment which is what we looked for when viewing local nurseries. Activities are always different and the smile on little ones face at the end of the day is what keeps us here. Keep up the amazing awesome job you all do.

Mt little girl has been at nursery for just over 6 months and loves going, it gives her a chance to play and be around other people without me. The staff are fantastic and the rooms are lovely. This is my second child to go there and would highly recommend it.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 10 months old. He is approaching 3 years old and has grown and flourished in the nursery's environment. The staff are friendly, warm and kind. There is not a high turnover of staff which I feel is important for consistency for the children. I have been happy with my son's care throughout his time there, and feel they have been very accommodating with my work changes etc.

Both of our children have attended Rocking Horse and I could not recommend it more. My children are very different and have both flourished here. This is due to the experience, genuine affection and nature of all the staff. There is always new and interesting seasonal activities arranged as well as music sessions and even Spanish classes. Children are developed in a lovely environment inside and out. We could not ask for anything more from a nursery when we see how happy our children are at the end of the day.

Rocking Horse Nursery is a perfect place for developing babies, toddlers and young children abilities at all levels. The staff are extremely friendly and professional but most important they understand each child's needs and work closely with the parents through constructive feedback to make sure that each child is happy.

Rocking horse Nursery is a fantastic nursery. I have experience of 2 nurseries in Godalming with my older child but when the time came to select a nursery for my 2nd child I did not hesitate to select Rocking horse.

My son runs to the door of the nursery at drop off time and barely looks back, I should be offended but I am just delighted that he is still excited to go and see his friends and carers, I think this speaks volumes. He loves playing in the garden and exploring all the games and going to music class, he genuinely loves his days at nursery.

The nursery has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. All of the staff are lovely and my son adores his key workers. The continuity of care is really important to me and this is one of the reasons I chose Rocking horse. There is very little staff turnover, most of the staff that cared for my daughter are still there, I think this demonstrates that the staff are happy and happy staff make for a secure, happy environment for the children.

We are extremely happy with the facilities and the learning opportunities that Rocking Horse provides our son. The atmosphere is always a happy one and every child is treated as an individual. The staff have all got to know him and so there are no 'scary' people around! He feels comfortable with everybody and knows that he can talk to or go to any member of staff if he wants to. We feel confident leaving our son in their capable hands and know that he will have an enjoyable time. There is plenty of information displayed around to keep you up to date if you turn up to collect at a busy time. We would totally recommend Rocking Horse.

Rocking Horse is an excellent nursery for my son to flourish in. He has become so confident and happy there. He started at 11 months and it has been a pleasure to see him make happy bonds with his carers. The nursery is excellent, homely and a lovely environment for him. He loves the outside space, the activities and is always eating very well. My 4.5-year-old daughter uses the after school club when we need it and she also loves the friendly atmosphere. Thank you to all who have made his nursery journey so good.

Amazing nursery with friendly staff who are concerned with wellbeing and development of children. My daughter loves it so much she doesn't want to leave. It's like a small family where they all play together and is not overcrowded like some other nurseries seem

Excellent nursery,made by the caring and friendly staff that make the children feel so settled. My little boy only goes 1 day per week yet he loves it and always talks excitedly about all the fun he has!

Rocking Horse Nursery is a fantastic safe place for children to be. My daughter attended from 9months until school age, and my 16 month old son is currently attending and will do until school. My daughter learnt so much and gained so much confidence there. The carers are so welcoming nice and very experienced. They helped my daughter meet so many goals in learning and toilet training, walking etc. I knew that my son would go; I wouldn't use anyone else. I feel so content leaving them in their care!

Our experience has been so positive that I have always suggested Rocking Horse Nursery to friends and family (my niece also loves it) and my son now goes there as well (just as positive an experience). I cannot think of anyone outside of my family I would rather leave my children with!
