Rocking Horse at The Nursery Family

My daughter joined the nursery in September 2021. Since joining her confidence has grown tremendously. My daughter is behind on her development and the nursery has done a fantastic job in dealing with this, as well as teaching my child to self feed herself with confidence! Her needs are met and I have full confidence in her being in the Shetlands room. The staff are fantastic, and I am pretty sure my daughter is their shadows throughout the day! I love that my daughter is so happy at the end of the day, she loves it there and is thriving with all aspects of her development! I highly recommend the Rocking Horse Nursery to any parent in Godalming.

I couldn't recommend Rocking Horse enough to any parents looking for a nursery in the area, from the moment my child started there he has enjoyed every moment and I can truly say he is a happy little boy whilst attending, all the staff are so invested in the children and make everyday fun and special.

Our son is very happy and always enjoys his time at the nursery. The staff are brilliant at helping with his anxiety about coming in in the morning and he returns home beaming about the activities he has undertaken. Everyone is friendly, helpful and supportive of his learning and development and I would recommend the nursery to anyone considering it for their child.

Rocking Horse is an excellent nursery - they are so kind and caring, my son is really thriving there. His language skills, movement skills and eating has really come on loads since attending. The team has a family feel to it, I can tell they really care about my son and want to watch him grow and achieve new things. They have excellent communication skills, I love checking the app at work to see what my son is up to and what he ate for lunch. I enjoy seeing all the amazing arts and crafts that he does at nursery and brings home. Five stars, I'm so happy I found such a gem!

We love Rocking Horse Nursery as does our daughter. She has made such a lovely bond with the staff and we feel very secure knowing she is having the best day when she’s there. The children have outdoor play daily which is a big positive for us.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone that is looking for quality care and we are so glad we found them.

I really can’t recommend this nursery enough. My daughter can be very shy around new people but she settled into the baby room brilliantly under the care of the Room Leader Foals and the team. I felt the nursery really got to know my daughter, and her likes and dislikes, to help her settle in quickly. She absolutely loves going now and runs through the door without looking back! As a parent, the nursery has been so flexible and accommodating, providing extra sessions if I needed them and providing regular updates on how my daughter is doing if I ever have any concerns. 5 stars from me!

Rocking Horse is a lovely, welcoming nursery where staff are kind, caring and dedicated to providing the best care for the children. My son enjoys Spanish and dancing in the Shires pre school and his understanding of maths, letters and sounds and the world around him has developed wonderfully thanks to support from the Rocking Horse staff. The staff are always willing to update me on his well-being and are so patient and kind when I call to ask how he’s doing if he’s having a bad day. They have been wonderfully patient with his fussy eating and sensory issues. He started pre school late due to Covid but settled in so well despite not having interacted with other children much for over a year. I would recommend Rocking Horse to any parent looking for somewhere where their child will be nurtured, feel safe and therefore feel ready to learn and develop. Thank you Rocking Horse.

They do so many great activities with my son throughout the day and he comes home happy and well fed. He is always happy to be dropped off and I am relaxed knowing he will have a great day.

Two of my children have been to the Rocking Horse and have loved every second. It really is a home away from home.

Our daughter is now leaving to start school, but we hope to send her younger brother to Rocking Horse in the near future.

Rocking Horse is a wonderful Nursery. Our daughter has fun, varied days and really enjoys her time with her friends there. The staff are so attentive and caring of the children and our daughter shows no hesitation when I drop her off in the mornings!

My daughter has come so far in a short amount of time with her speech as well as her behaviour. They have supported us from the get-go. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery which makes drop off a lot easier.

Rocking Horse Nursery has been great for our daughter. The staff are lovely and really welcoming and caring, and overall it has been a really nurturing place for our daughter who joined when she was a year old. Her key worker in the baby room was amazing and really helped her settle in straight away which made us feel very relaxed and confident about leaving her knowing she was being really cared for as well as having lots of fun! It's great that they provide a book which staff write in each day so we can see what our daughter has been up to, including what she's had to eat, how much sleep etc. She has moved up the rooms and about to go into 'the big room' when she turns 3 and is really excited about it. She loves all the staff and always comes home a really happy girl, what more can you ask for!

All the staff are great and have really helped our child to settle back, after having a long break due to the current situation. Our child loves going here and always seems to have the best time and has come on leaps and bounds with his development.

Our child has been at Rocking Horse Nursery since he was 6-months-old. The staff are just fantastic and we really love their approach to running the nursery. Our son couldn’t be happier; and it makes leaving him each day so much easier when we know he is in such capable hands!

Both my little ones really enjoy their time at Rocking Horse. The staff are so warm, smiley and welcoming and my little ones are so comfortable there, including my 13-month-old who has settled really well since recently joining. They always seem to be doing a new project or craft activity and make lovely gifts to bring home, showing how thoughtful and attentive the staff can be.

My Daughter has attended Rocking horse since she was 7 months old. As a working Mum, the thought of leaving my baby in a nursery was very daunting. But everyone at Rocking Horse has made me feel so at ease. My Daughter absolutely adores her room leader, who is very bubbly and welcoming. She is always up to something with my Daughter either messy play or painting and she prints off pictures to put in the day book, it’s so so cute. I’m always kept up to date with the day book as to what she’s eaten or what’s she’s been up to! My baby loves the outdoor space and the activities the nursery has for her. The menu seems to be very vast and wholesome which I approve of. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my Daughter everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel at ease. Highly recommend!!!

I can’t put into words how welcoming and lovely the staff at Rocking Horse are. They are also very flexible as I have shift work and they have always been extremely understanding when I have requested last minute changes due to my work duties changing. My daughter really enjoys her time at Rocking Horse and has made lots of friends and I love that on her days away from the nursery she “calls” her friends and carers to have a chat and see how they are. For me, this shows how happy she is there and I am so grateful that they care so much about her development and happiness.
