Bright Stars Day Nursery is a privately run day nursery based in Leatherhead caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years, 52 weeks a year.

Funding & Fees
£76 ages 2-3 price per day 7.30-6pm
£74 ages 3-5 price per day 7.30-6pm
9-3 x3 days per week for all year round place & 1x 9-1 will give you the full 22 hrs stretched -small charge of £5 per day for cooked meal/pudding am/pm snacks.
Option to add on 7.30-9 & 3-6pm at additional cost of private fees.
Fees are made payable monthly in advance on the first day of attendance. Absences will be charged at full cost. Once a place has been confirmed at the nursery the equivalent to one month's fees will be required as a deposit. If the place is then taken, your deposit will be deducted from your first payment. If your child does not attend the nursery once the place has been accepted the deposit will be non-refundable. If leaving a period of one month is required as notice. Full fees will be charged for days we are closed i.e. bank holidays and a period at Christmas.
Fees are reviewed in September annually.
Max of 6 hrs per day can be claimed.

It is a comfortable and inviting environment with good outside space for the children to explore and play. More importantly, the boys feel safe at the nursery and don't hesitate to approach the staff if necessary. The boys are assigned key workers who always provide a detailed daily review on pick up.
He tells me about his day and what activities he has done which are varied and interesting.
He has become close to staff members and he is always happy to see them when I take him into nursery.
I feel very happy to leave him with the staff knowing he is well cared for.
The baby room feels very home from home and the staff are wonderful - they certainly made it as easy as possible to leave her for the first time. She has recently moved up to the toddler room and loves the additional space inside and outside and the range of toys (sometimes it is difficult to get her to leave!). The range of activities is great (and saves me having to deal with the mess at home) - she regularly comes home with paintings, baking, new favourite books. Bright Stars offer a good range of outings to the local library or parks and activities that parents can get involved in. The food seems to be a good variety and I love the fact that they get outside in the fresh air every day.
I can not thank the staff enough at Bright Stars with the settling in of my baby girl even from visiting whilst I was still pregnant to now they have been impeccable, so friendly, comforting, accommodating and professional nothing is ever too much trouble which made my little one settle in with ease and now even after just a month she absolutely loves it and has such a fab time doing all sorts play and activities. It’s like home from home which is what I wanted in a nursery and I know she is in the very best hands when I leave so thank you!
Excellent place to learn and have fun. Safe and cosy environment, welcoming and caring staff. Would recommend it 100%. Lovely location and nice outdoor areas to play. Children look happy and this is the best evidence. Food is delicious with a good variety.

Meet the Team (4)
I am the nursery's third in charge and soon to be maternity deputy cover. I am currently the new DSL and the pre-toddler room's leader.
I work 5 days a week and hold a Level 3 NVQ. I am first aid trained.
I have a daughter who comes along with me to the nursery and is absolutely thriving. She loves having fun with her friends.
I also work at Leatherhead Theatre in my spare time, which I really enjoy, especially at Christmas time.
Hi, I'm Tayah. I work in the preschool room full-time and am studying my NVQ. I started at Bright Stars Day Nursery in 2025 and have been enjoying my time while learning.

Hi, I'm Krystal. I have worked at Bright Stars Day Nursery since 2015. I work in the baby room full-time as the baby room leader. I hold a Level 3 NVQ, and I'm currently working towards my Level 5.

In my spare time, I also have my very own babysitting company, which I thoroughly enjoy.
