Pennypot Day Nursery (Chobham)

My daughter has attended Pennypot since she was six months old and she is soon to start school. Throughout our time, we have been so impressed by every aspect of care, support and provision offered. The staff are incredibly caring, nurturing and attentive, and it is clear that the children are at the heart of everything they do. We have always felt confident that our child is safe, happy and well cared for, while also being encouraged to develop her independence, confidence and curiosity. The quality and variety of activities and learning opportunities have also been fantastic. The nursery provides such a stimulating and engaging environment, with plenty of opportunities for children to learn, explore and develop through play. Communication with parents has always been excellent, and we have felt listened to, supported and kept well informed throughout. It has been such a positive experience for our family, and we are incredibly grateful to all the staff for the care given.

My daughter has attended Pennypot for the last 3 years. Having moved her from another nursery, I have a comparison, and Pennypot is in a league of it's own. The provision is phenomenal, from the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the pride and passion felt by all staff, to the rooms themselves where the staff are truly caring, supportive and highly knowledgeable in the children's needs. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed every day at Pennypot and has formed extremely bonds with staff in all of the rooms. She will miss them all hugely now she's going to school. Some of the highlights compared to my previous nursery experience - high quality food (that I want to eat when I see it at pick up), amazing outdoor facilities, sustainability focus which is taught to the children from day 1, extremely nurturing environment whilst also teaching strong independence from the start. The list could go on. I cannot recommend this nursery more highly. Thank you to all the staff.

Our son has been at Pennypot for 8 months now and we are very happy with the nursery. The workers in his room are brilliant and he is always having a great time when we come to collect him. His meals, sleeps, outside time and nappy changes are all logged into the app in a timely fashion and almost everyday we get a snapshot with photos. The nursery does lots of learning and development, even at the young ages, our son's language and social skills have come on hugely. I am extremely pleased with the amount of time outside in the garden our son gets and the variety of activities he gets to do. The meals at the nursery sound brilliant, and there is a huge range of food that the children are offered. Overall we are very pleased that we chose Pennypot as the nursery for our son and will definitely be sending our second there.

It's evident from the moment you step through the doors of Pennypot the passion and pride on display. The staff are approachable and have a reassuring level of professional training and knowledge. They exceed my expectations regular, with the creativity and fun they show in the array of activities they plan for our bear. Baby comes home well fed and happy! Regular communication with cute photo updates and about monthly written reports are reassuring. Our boy settled quickly, and formed bonds securely due to the high levels of engagement and patience from consistent staffing in the baby room. I work in education, and so visited several nurseries and this is THE PLACE. Our son loves the outdoors and this is one of the few nurseries I saw with an impressive Outdoor space. Every day is an adventure, and the stories they share brighten our day, helping to mitigate the tricky task of balancing a new baby and a career! The staff seem valued and the management present and proactive.

Our son attended Pennypot Day Nursery at the beginning of the year and we had the most wonderful experience. Our son absolutely loved the girls in the baby room and he always looked like he was having so much fun on pick ups. We were so sad when we had to leave because we moved house. Would absolutely recommend Pennypot to anyone looking for a professional, loving and caring nursery. The whole team there are absolutely amazing!

The only reason we cut our time short was the travel from Farnham. Otherwise we'd have happily stayed. I highly recommend any family looking for a nursery to look no further than Pennypot. We can't thank them enough for everything they've done.

My son has been attending Pennypot on a full time basis from August 2025. We moved to the area just under a year ago and eagerly awaited a spot to become available for him. With this being his 3rd nursery, we were keen to place him somewhere he would remain until he begins school. It has been such a pleasant experience. My son settled so well and built strong bonds right off the bat. I love the easy going environment and the genuine care and love you can feel as you walk through the doors. The staff are all wonderful and we were at ease right away. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

She had sever eczema at one stage and the team went above and beyond to make sure she had the right cream at the right time. Since then she has now progressed on to ladybirds and is once again loving the room and the team. They really do go out their way to reassure you and make your child a number one priority.

The updates and learning journals are great to understand how well your child is progressing.

Pennypot has been such an incredible place for our son to start his educational journey in life. The staff are caring, attentive, engaged and kind to not only the children but the parents too. While waiting if we had a place was slightly anxiety inducing, the process from having the place offered and now has been second to none. We feel very lucky that our son has a place here!

Our daughter has flourished at Pennypot Day Nursery. She cannot wait to go to nursery each morning and she loves it so much that we have trouble taking her back home! From a developmental point of view, she has progressed immensely and has built great relationships with her key workers. We get lots of information, timely updates and great communication on her daycare routine from the Nursery. All the staff are friendly, professional and polite and take great care of our daughter. We're so happy our daughter is growing up at this nursery and we look forward to seeing her future progress.

My daughter has just graduated from Pennypot after being there for 4.5 years and from the age of 5 months. I cannot rate it highly enough. All the staff were amazing with her, got to know her so well, and I felt they genuinely loved her. Despite being in the pre-school room for almost 2 years, she didn't get bored until the last few weeks and she learnt so much. She's left nursery easily able to write her name, knows more about the solar system than I do and can even do simple maths, none of which was taught by me! I would absolutely recommend this nursery, the staff seem happy in their work and the children are definitely happy, confident snd sociable.

We love Pennypot Day Nursery. My daughter started going in 2022 at 1 years old when I went back to work and has just left ready to go to school. The team are attentive and knowledgeable to her development, they care for her excellently and we did not need to worry about her while in their care. She was happy and healthy! We are genuinely sad to leave and would recommend this nursery to anyone needing childcare. 5*

I simply cannot say enough good things about this nursery. My two sons have been right through the nursery. One from only 5.5 months old. They have always been amazing. Keeping them safe, simulated and learning. They love the food, the staff the grounds. I will miss them all so much as we now move on to school. They are utterly outstanding, I have not one negative.

My Daughter has thrived at Pennypot , she loves going to see all her friends and key workers . All the staff put a lot of hard work , time , dedication and love into what they do for the children .
