Christopher Robin Day Nursery - London Road (Guildford)

Christopher Robin is a great nursery. The staff at the nursery provide a safe and fun environment for children whilst educating them appropriately for the start of school. The girls have made my son’s transition to school so easy and he can’t wait to start in September even though he misses all the staff and his friends at nursery. I’ll be in touch soon to put my new arrival down on the list to start next year.

I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

I couldn't recommend Christopher Robin (London Road) more, especially during this time;- when they've been even more thoughtful, supportive and engaged. I have two children at the nursery and both have always received the most brilliant care, they look forward to attending each day and have formed special bonds with their "teachers". All the staff who've cared for my two have put special effort into finding the activities and feedback that make my children's days fun-filled and rewarding and for that, I cannot thank them enough!

So pleased that the nursery is back open and my daughter has very much enjoyed going back and seeing all the staff and friends. The activities are great and she is really thriving in tiggers with her key worker who always goes above and beyond!

I cannot recommend this nursery and it’s amazing staff enough - my daughter loves it there and everyone is very helpful and caring. The staff were especially helpful as my daughter suffers from eczema, it was very worrying for us because sometimes it would be very bad, but they helped with the cream every day and were very supportive. This nursery is wonderful, I am so thankful and grateful to them.

Both my children attending Christopher Robin - London Road over a five year period and thoroughly enjoyed their time with the team. The experience has given both of them a solid foundation to their learning, citizenship and most importantly their sense of self. I would highly recommend it to any family and we are sad our time there has come to an end. It’s a kind, caring and nurturing place.

Extremely pleased with how interactive the nursery staff are at Christopher Robin's, London Road. The activities are varied and fun. I really feel that the staff truly care very much about our son and always give great feedback about how the day has gone. I feel 100% reassured and happy that my son is getting the best of care and attention, and it's a pleasure having their amazing support with childcare.

Our son joined the nursery 6 months ago and we cannot fault the set-up there. His development in independence and confidence is evidence of the Montessori style and his relationship with staff is very positive, helping him settle in and make friends quickly. Christopher Robin staff you're amazing.

Our son really enjoys his time at Christopher Robin. He is excited when he arrives in the morning and he's full of smiles when he's collected in the evening. He wants to share his experiences with us and show us the toys and introduce us to the other children he has spent the day with. He has so much fun, learning so much. He also loves spending time with his carers and they are amazing with him. They are great with us too - responsive and meticulous - and although it is great to get a report card every day that shows us what activities he's been up to, it isn't necessary in order for us to know that he's had an active day as he always comes home so content.

Both of my children have attended the nursery since it opened. We can’t recommend the nursery highly enough. The children have always been well looked after and the staff and facilities are great.

I cannot recommend Christopher Robin Day Nursery highly enough. The staff are incredible. They are extremely kind and caring and their dedication to the development of the children they look after is commendable. The manager and her team have worked hard to create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment, which has been consistent throughout the eight years I have used them. In a nutshell, I have always felt completely confident that our children have received the best care whilst they have been there.

My son has attended this nursery since May and I cannot praise the team enough. He has gone from crying at drop off to just walking in and eating breakfast independently. He is always so happy when I collect him at the end of the day, and I love seeing photos of what he has been up to. The staff are so happy and friendly, you will always be greeted with a smile. You can tell that they love helping the children to learn and thrive. This is a brilliant nursery.

My son has recently started in the baby room at the nursery and has settled in really well. The staff are all welcoming, caring and friendly and now he barely notices when I leave him. He seems to have a great time at the nursery and always looks happy in the photos I see of him. They all make a real effort to make personalised things for special occasions too like fathers day and parents birthdays. I strongly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter is currently in Roos and she has been there since October last year and she has settled in so well. We moved areas and so it took me a long time to decide where to send her as my son had been at such a fantastic nursery/preschool before he started school and so I wanted the best for her too and we have found it at Christopher Robin. All the staff are wonderful and the manager is lovely and so approachable.

Our daughter enjoys her days there and makes some wonderfully creative things to bring home and always enjoys going on the scooters in the garden.

Finding somewhere you feel comfortable and happy with for your child is always hard. I’m so glad we chose Christopher Robin.

I love this nursery. The children are well looked after, they are engaged and actively learning. My son told me he’d learnt all about plants at nursery and he’d learnt they need water, soil and sunlight to grow! I was very impressed.

Having sent my son to two nurseries (Christopher Robin being the second) since he turned one, this nursery is miles beyond the other! You cannot fault this place in the slightest. From the morning welcome at the front door, the cheery faces over breakfast and the wave goodbye at the end of the day. The staff are like family members to my son and he always comes away in a great mood with plenty of stories to tell of his day.

We started using Christopher Robin, London Road Nursery in September this year. Coming from a childcare background I had high expectations and they have not failed to meet them. The settling in process was excellent, giving me confidence in the service and allowing my child to get used to the nursery before I left them. The feedback I get from the team every day is brilliant, you couldn’t ask for more, it’s so special to see (via printed photos) what they’ve been doing each day when they can’t tell you! The team are friendly and professional and I have no doubt that the children are at the centre of their planning throughout the day.

They provide different fun and educational activities each day on top of the great toys and equipment they have in the room as standard. I couldn’t go to work as readily as I do without this nursery, and can’t recommend them highly enough. I had heard good things about this nursery and have not been disappointed!

Both of our sons have attended this nursery and they have loved every minute. We think very highly of the manager and her team.
