Christopher Robin Day Nursery - London Road (Guildford)

I can't rate Christopher Robin high enough from the first settling in sessions to starting full time, all members of staff go above and beyond to make the whole family feel welcome and your children feel at ease. They do so much with the children and open them up to experiences I wouldn't be able to offer them at home, such as the messy play and special visits from fire engines and policemen to further their knowledge and experiences. Both my children attend, they never cry when I drop them off as they look forward to going!

Our experience with Christopher Robin has been fantastic. Our daughter settled in brilliantly, staff have all been friendly to me and caring and attentive to our daughter and communication has been excellent. Our daughter's dietary requirements and allergies have been handled with total professionalism and accommodated without question. We know that our daughter is flourishing in the happy and safe environment provided at Christopher Robin and we greatly value the care her key worker and everyone else is giving our daughter.

We've had my son in the nursery since April 2016 and he's been really happy here, settling in very quickly. It's a warm, nice place and the staff are great, kids seem to be very happy. He's now in the pre-school room and he's learning so many things, across all areas, even though he is only attending just a couple of days a week. We are very pleased with how he's been doing, the staff and management are top class, very helpful each time we needed help or support with anything. I would absolutely recommend the nursery to any of our friends, without hesitation.

The staff of the nursery are very professional and caring. They provide a very loving atmosphere and really care about children. My daughter is very happy here and I would recommend this nursery to my friends.

My Granddaughter has been coming to the nursery for 3 years and Grandson since September 2016. I now do the pickup for both and staff are always helpful and so caring toward the children. Thank you so much for making it a little easier for me at the end of the day.

Since returning to work from maternity leave and our daughter joined at 5 months old, we have always been overwhelmed with the love, care and attention she has been given. The staff are caring and attentive to children's needs and the relationship with her first initial key person was always reassuring and we feel all staff have become and additional part of our family. She is very confident and keen to attend nursery! (Even asking at weekends!!) Our daughter is always very independent at home and since being at nursery, this has really developed from being given the opportunity of everyday tasks at nursery, she has learnt and gained confidence.

My daughter started at the nursery when she was ten months and now she is nineteen months. The place - the staff - the activities are amazing, my daughter is very happy and very well take care off. The staff is very professional and at the same time very friendly. I know that my daughter will be in security - have fun and develop every day she will go to the nursery.

I was very nervous leaving my daughter at nursery even though she was 2.5. However both she and I felt instantly at ease on the settling in days. This meant I and therefore my daughter were absolutely fine on her first full day and ever since. My daughter loves the teachers, the children and the toys! Her speech has improved tremendously and her vocabulary has widened also. I feel that my daughter has settled very easily and is very happy. The teachers are so enthusiastic and happy that the children embrace everything- it's lovely to see!!

We had moved our daughter to Christopher Robin Day Nursery when she was 3 from another nursery which had been failing in its level of care. We had no hesitation in placing our 1-year-old son here. If the opening hours were slightly longer especially in the morning, it would enable daddy to drop him more often but this is a minor detail. The staff are fantastic and the tone is set by the manager who is excellent. We love the daily report form that they give for the younger babies. If there were only a verbal handover, parents would forget most of it by the time they get home.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 10 months old and she is now 3. The nursery has provided excellent loving care for my daughter through all her stages. There are separate rooms for different age groups, making it very appropriate especially for babies. The nursery has already provided lots of cuddles and reassurance for my daughter which I highly value. Her all-around development has been totally enhanced by the nursery, her language and communication skills are excellent which is partly due to the nursery. My daughter loves going to nursery and I feel 100% comfortable leaving my daughter at nursery, which is very important to me. I cannot recommend the nursery enough.

My 3 year old has been at this nursery for 2 years (the first year at the other site before they moved to London Road), and she has always loved it. What makes this nursery so good is the fantastic team, who build great relationships with the children and are so welcoming and caring. My daughter seems to learn so much here while having lots of fun, and she always comes home happy and tired. I would absolutely recommend this nursery, I'm so glad we found it.
