Co-op Childcare Tadworth is set in a beautiful location in The Children's Trust mansion grounds with easy access to nature trails, a wilderness walk and large lawn areas, This unique spot also lets their children interact with children with disabilities and additional needs regularly, teaching them understanding and acceptance at an early age.
They use their 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with their children such as encouraging them to express their feelings to making a difference in the world. They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.
Their app for parents, Famly, keeps them updated on life at nursery with things like photos from their day, meals eaten, assessments and even toilet training progress! The nursery is silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.
They are big on happy children and have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local area and take care of each other and the world.
There are 3 home rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: 3 months – 2 year olds (including a sleep room and creative studio), 2-3 year olds and 3-5 year olds.
There are two secure, enclosed, landscaped garden areas which are tastefully sectioned off to provide safe play areas even if all age groups are out at the same time and include covered areas to enable children to have access to the outdoors in all weather conditions.

A caring, professionals and attentive nursery. Our daughter is extremely happy here and seems to thrive in every area.

A caring, professionals and attentive nursery. Our daughter is extremely happy here and seems to thrive in every area.
The staff are very caring towards the children and it's obvious that they really get to know each child on a one-to-one basis. Our almost two-year-old daughter talks about them by name at home.
When our daughter was not eating very well, the nursery staff were very supportive of some strategies we wished to implement and suggested other tactics, which improved the situation.
Led by fantastic management who communicate all changes and updates on the nursery!
Parents and families are welcome to take part in special events, such as sports day and Halloween activity which is a great opportunity. The manager made me feel very welcome, saying I can go to a story-time session some time, to get a glimpse into my daughter's nursery day.
We feel extremely grateful that our daughter attends this nursery.

A happy, friendly nursery which both my daughters (3 and 1) love to go to. The staff take time to encourage the development of each child and share photos, videos and development updates in the Parent Zone app. The playrooms and outside areas are very good and well equipped. Staff take time to talk to parents at pick up and even help you to the car, which is a lovely gesture when you've got 2 toddlers and bags to manage. Highly recommend this nursery.

My son attends the nursery 1 day per week. Since he started a year ago, I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of the nursery and the level of care it provides. The food and activities are varied, and my son is always very happy when I collect him. I feel that the staff at the nursery have had a big part in growing his confidence, and he is now a very sociable little man. My son has additional nutritional needs, and the nursery is very accommodating with this.
On the occasions my son has been unwell, the staff have been very attentive in caring for him and keeping me informed.
I am very happy that I found this nursery for my son, and would highly recommend it to other parents. Thanks.

The staff at The Co-operative Childcare Tadworth Nursery are so good with our twin boys. They are treated as individuals and every care is taken that they grow on their own. The boys have grown in confidence and personality and their speech has improved. They are spoken to as people rather than as toddlers which I appreciate. The staff have always shown love and care towards them and you can see the genuine connection that is there. The staff have also noticed when the boys are not themselves and even highlighted one of the boys as having glue ear. This attention to my boys and all of the children is why I would highly recommend this childcare facility.

We have been extremely happy with the nursery since day 1. My son is such a happy, confident little boy and I really feel this is a huge part down to his time there. He is a great eater, thanks to the lovely cooking every day! He has adored the staff looking after him, as have I, as I feel they genuinely care about him and his well-being. The activities, outdoor play, arts and crafts, storytime... my son always happily tells me what he has been up to each day and is genuinely excited about going. We honestly have nothing but fond memories of our nearly 2 years there, and we are leaving with a heavy heart... but definitely will be coming back as we have more children!

Both my daughters attend the Co-operative Nursery at Tadworth twice a week. My eldest, now 3, has been there since she was 10 months and has enjoyed being in all 4 of the rooms. My youngest (10.months) is now in the baby room and also doing well. The staff are all lovely, forming really caring relationships with the children. They all know my children, whether they are their key workers or not and the girls, particularly my eldest, really loves many of the staff. The nursery benefits from a great site within the grounds of the Children's Trust, which means the children are regularly outdoors in a stimulating and safe environment. They are also good at supporting weaning and potty training which have been a great help. Definitely recommended.

Staff all friendly and helpful and care for your child! A good handover of the day at pick up and provisions fantastic. Only one improvement is I think having fruit and yoghurts available for children at breakfast rather than just cereals would be a brilliant plus! Will miss sending my child to The Co-operative Childcare Tadworth Nursery.

I've always felt extremely lucky that my son attends this nursery as the staff are so friendly but professional. However, after talking to another parent, I think they have gone above and beyond!

I've always felt extremely lucky that my son attends this nursery as the staff are so friendly but professional. However, after talking to another parent, I think they have gone above and beyond! This parents little boy was poorly (high temp and breathing problems) she was telephoned to collect him. On arrival, she was advised to go straight to A&E. They sent a member of staff with her as she was obviously upset. A few hours later they then sent another member of staff to pick up the staff member. They had packed a bag for the parent which included nappies, wipes, puréed fruit etc and a bottle of the child's special milk. There was even an envelope with £10 in just in case it was needed!
That's what I call a 5 star service and deserves recognition! Well done to team Tadworth!
