Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Oxford Station

We have a really good relationship with all the staff and our son really enjoys spending time at the coop.

Care for our child is and has always been excellent and a great environment is provided for them to grow. Our children have always been well looked after from the very beginning and we have nothing but good things to say about nursery.

Communications are very good. Plenty of updates, news and the nursery is extremely easy to get hold off with a fully manned office. Similarly sorting admin like car permits and free childcare hours has been very easy.

Our child is happy to be dropped off and not really bothered about leaving in the afternoon!

We're so grateful for the nurturing start they've given him and would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

All staff and management are really approachable and helpful when I have any queries. They take a keen interest in her development and needs. My daughter has really come on in the last month and I can notice the confidence she has gained with walking and being more independent with feeding etc due to the efforts staff have put in.

We are delighted with our experience at this nursery - our toddler has been attending since he was 9 months old and has formed a really lovely bond with his key person and all the other staff members in his room. It's really clear that the staff care for the children and their development. There are always new and exciting activities set up in the toddler room each day, and it's great that they offer lots of creative and messy play that we do not do at home. The management team are also excellent and we get regular updates from them. Comms from the team in the toddler room are very clear at handover and on the app. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants to ensure a safe, happy place for their little one.

The staff are brilliant at providing activities for the children attending the setting. Both my children have developed really strong bonds with the adults in their rooms. The communication of the management team is excellent. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Staff are extremely kind, professional and responsive. They have made effort to connect and help my child develop in a positive and fun environment. Transitions between rooms have been smooth, so has been potty training, eating and creating hygiene habits. I would recommend this setting.

My son has been coming here since September 2024, they were kind in offering him a space when I got a new job and my work schedule changed. As a new Mom then who had spent a lot time caring for him with my husband it was really reassuring to see how the staff welcomed and took care of him. He settled in well quickly and made lots of new friends. The staff are always kind and cheerful, they pay attention to his needs and are always ready take any input from us. They also have lots of toys and lovely garden where the kids play and I love that they take them outside regularly. Great for their learning and development!

We are truly happy with the Oxford Station nursery. Our son has been going there for almost a year and we couldn't be more satisfied with the setting! He is very happy to enter the room in the morning and very happy when we pick him up in the afternoon. All the staff are doing such a great job and they engage the children in all sorts of artistic and developmental activities. Our son has learnt so much at nursery, including so many new words! He loves the food and the garden. Extra points for the nursery always being super clean, keep up the good job!

My daughter really enjoys her time at the nursery and I can't speak more highly of the staff, they are so kind and committed to the children. It's great how much outdoor time the children have. I feel very lucky to be a part of the nursery.

We love Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Oxford Station. It has a real family atmosphere and you can tell how much the staff care about all the little ones that go there. There's a real effort to make sure there is a good range of activities, food choices, a mixture of play and relaxing/snuggly time. We appreciate the regular updates over the app and debriefs at pick-up. One thing that would be helpful is to improve communication on the Cooperative policy around sickness (e.g. when are children sent home because of fever etc) as this sometimes changes without us realising.

The nursery has always been fantastic with my son. The care and consideration taken into his specific needs are always excellent. Any problems/issues have always been brought to my attention promptly and openly spoken about solutions. I could not recommend the nursery enough to anyone looking to enrol their child. The curriculum and facilities have really helped him to progress and learn as he pleases. Fantastic work all around!

Our son has really enjoyed his time at nursery. The staff are all lovely and take a real interest in the children and it shows in how happily he goes each day. The building has recently moved as well and is in a wonderful new space. Would highly recommend it.

A wonderful nursery in a perfect location. The staff know and understand my daughter well and tend to her needs. Her special dietary requirements are met without hesitation. Her key person communicates well with us, and I feel a strong rapport with her, enabling our daughter to be ready and prepared for school in September.
