My daughter has been at Woodlands since Jan 2016 and she absolutely loves the staff and the environment. From a nutritious meal plan to well-structured activities throughout the day, focusing on developing her skills and enjoyment of learning - I know that she is being incredibly well taken care of and is truly happy. The staff at Woodlands really care and develop wonderful bonds with the children - we are so lucky to have found this place, and would, and do, heartily recommend it to anyone.
Both my children attended Woodlands and loved the setting. They showed great excitement when we pulled up outside and couldn't wait to get through the doors. The food always sounds delicious and the staff show so much love towards the children. I am a hairdresser in the area and always recommended the setting to others. I think having an under two's setting is such a good idea.
My son has been in Woodlands since he was 9 months old. He really enjoyed his time here and I'm sure he will miss it. Thank you for all your hard work and for making the move of rooms smooth and encouraging for children.
My son has attended Woodlands since he was 1. 3.5 years later and I can't fault the nursery. Excellent facilities, lovely staff. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to other families.
The food is amazing and I know my daughter likes it as she always has seconds of each meal. The staff are brilliant and always has seconds of each meal. The staff are brilliant and always in happy cheerful moods. The management team are also really helpful and always there when needed.
Our child has been at Woodlands since he was 5 months and I've never seen him anything but happy to be carried or to walk in each morning. In fact, he sometimes seems disappointed to have to spend the day at home with me.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
1) Very happy with our child's current key worker (unfortunately just learnt she is leaving).
2) Garden facility is good (although could be utilised more fully).
3) Friendly staff who are helpful.
Aspects that could be better.
1) Staff turnover appears on high side.
2) More indoor activities such as language classes, cooking and plays.
3) Outdoor trips/excursions e.g to Parks, Farms etc.
I am very happy with the way my son has progressed from baby room to now pre-school. He is ready for school thanks partly to the staff and his key workers. I have recommended to friends and family. My son has always been happy to go into Woodlands.
I am so pleased I chose Woodlands Day Nursery after looking at so many different nurseries. The staff are all so hard working. My daughter adores her new key person and participating in all the different stimulating activities they provide. The cook does an amazing job providing food for my daughter that I could never get her to eat whilst with me at home. It's a real weight off my shoulders knowing how much fun and love she gets while I'm at work. Thank you all at Woodlands.
We loved this nursery and have just signed up our second child to attend! We have also recommended to numerous friends and colleagues.
My daughters cuddly toy monkey went on an "adventure" at the nursery. The monkey was very important to her as she has had it since she was born and always sleeps with it. Woodlands Pre-School staff did all they could to search for the missing monkey. A letter went home to parents, a notice was put up with a picture of monkey and less than a week later monkey was found. The staff searched for monkey and when it was found it was brought to our house. Woodlands Pre-School did a great job.
My child is encouraged to learn and interacts with staff and children alike. My child eats well at nursery and the food is varied and fresh. The nursery staff have adapted to my child's development and changing needs.
