My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands since September 2022. During that time she has flourished and been thoroughly supported. I cannot fault the staff at all; they are friendly, open and honest. The nursery setting is also wonderful, with a decent-sized outdoor area.

So happy that our child is part of the Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool family! Everyone is so friendly, the staff are incredibly caring, diligent, fun, professional, patient and attentive. The setting is beautiful, the food and facilities are great and perhaps most importantly, my child is excited to go, gets to do so many cool activities and make wonderful friends. We feel so lucky to have found Woodlands and would recommend it to local friends with littlies in a heartbeat.

Both my wife and I have been incredibly impressed with the care and attention from staff for our daughter, who has numerous food allergies and eczema. Meal plans have been tailored specifically to her needs, which we are very grateful. If there has been any kind of reaction then the staff have been very quick to notify us and let us know how our daughter is. In addition, our daughter loves the time she spends here which is probably the best way to end this review. Huge thanks to the whole team!

Very happy with the setting for my daughter, it’s been a great experience so far. Setting is big and spacious and my daughter seems to thrive there. Information is clear and regular from the management.

We are extremely happy with the nursery. Both our children go in happily every morning. They have made great progress in all areas of their development and the staff are very kind, caring and patient. The children do lovely activities, which have clearly been carefully planned and a lot of time has gone into resourcing.

Couldn't ask any more from them. My son loves going and they encourage his learning and development. All staff care and are very friendly. I love watching them greet each child and give them all the time and patience.

Our daughter has been at the nursery and preschool since she was about 8 months old (except for the first lockdown) and has thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We have been impressed by the dedication of the staff to the learning and emotional development of our child, with clear explanations on the app of what they have been doing and how we can help to support that in our home environment. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat about the day at pickup time. The food has been fantastic, to the point where our daughter will eat things at the preschool which she won't eat at home (because they are 'not as good!'), and the quiet woodland setting has enabled her to have lots of outdoor time which she really enjoys. We will be very sad to say goodbye to what has been a lovely place and group of people when she moves on to school next month.

We love the preschool, and our son is very happy going there. The staff are very supportive and nurturing and explore new ways to support children with their learning. Most importantly though, all the staff are extremely caring and kind.

Our son seems very happy at the preschool and always comes home smiling and chatty after a long day. All of the staff are professional, caring and very communicative, so we always feel like they have our son’s best interests at heart. The use of an app for important updates, photos of his day and eating diary etc, is so helpful and reduces the long handover at the end of the day. Overall, we have been really pleased.

The team at Woodlands are exceptional. We cannot rate them highly enough. Our son has been with them since he was 11 months old and he will be soon leaving Woodlands to start school. Within this time, we have seen him absolutely flourish. Whether that is because the team have supported him with his interests, challenged him with ideas and concepts or supported him pastorally. The team really care about each individual child, they approach parents and children with high levels of emotional intelligence, care and compassion. We are always very impressed with the key themes that Woodlands use throughout the year. Whether that is annual events or one-offs, our son always comes back with high levels of enthusiasm and knowledge around these events. A huge thank you to all of the Woodlands team.

Our daughter is very happy attending Bright Horizons, Southborough Woodlands. There is a wide variety of materials and activities, and the staff always put a huge amount of time and effort into curating fun and educational things to do. I love that the curriculum follows the seasons and focuses on many holidays and dates throughout the year for our daughter to learn about. The outdoor space is a massive benefit and sets the nursery apart from others in the town centres nearby. The building and gardens back onto woodlands and the children spend lots of time in the garden as much as the weather allows all year round. Communication is very good, with regular updates on the app, and the staff always respond very quickly to messages/queries. Our daughter loves all the food provided with hot meals cooked on-site every day. It's lovely to see the bonds the staff create with children, there is lots of enthusiasm from all the staff members and it's great to see that the turnover of staff seems to be very low.

My second one is now at Woodlands Preschool and loves attending. The staff are amazing, they build individual bonds with the children and support and nurture their little personalities. Not only are they great with the little ones but they make a big effort with the parents too, whether this is via the app or at pick-ups and drop-offs. The facilities are great and the outdoor space is ideal and the activities the children get up to are messy, fun and interactive - which you are a part of by viewing the app. The preparation that goes into supporting them to transition to primary school is first class, from learning to hold a pen correctly, writing their name, being seated at a desk to walking with a dinner tray - they leave Woodlands being independent and ready for their next journey. What ultimately makes it special, is the staff.

The wonderful team at Bright Horizons Woodlands are now taking care of our third child. Having had two boys flourish at the nursery, we couldn’t even consider sending our daughter anywhere else. She had a tricky start, being a lockdown toddler, she was very unsure about being anywhere but by our side. The nursery staff were so accommodating, reassuring to both her and me! After lots of settling-in sessions, gentle encouragement and packing her day with exciting activities, she soon grew in confidence and now she is disappointed when it isn’t a nursery day. The facilities and location are fantastic. However, it’s the staff that really make this nursery stand out. The relationships the team build with the children and the effort they put into keeping the children engaged and curious about learning has given my children the best foundation in education. I cannot recommend them highly enough and will be very sad to say goodbye in September when my daughter goes to school.

Both our children have grown up at Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool and will have long lasting happy memories of their time there. There is no impersonal ‘drop off and pick up’ ethos here, our kids have always been treated as individuals and the focus is on continual development - with excellent two-way communication between staff and parents. Bright Horizons always seem to attract and retain high quality staff who care about the job and, most importantly, care about our children. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woodlands to any prospective parents.

My daughter loves coming to nursery and it’s clear that a big part of that is the friendly and caring atmosphere created by the wonderful team at Woodlands. I’ve been impressed by how much she’s learning and being prepared for primary school. I love the regular updates we get through the app and can really see the variety of activities and learning the children take part it in.

Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool since she was 11 months old and throughout her time with the nursery, she has grown in confidence and ability. The nursery is very nurturing and encourages all passions. They have really helped her prepare for school this September and we know she will enter the next chapter with the confidence she needs. I also cannot fault the nursery’s approach throughout the pandemic in keeping the children safe but also being able to continue to provide childcare throughout.

My daughter has been with the team since she was 11 months old and will leave them for school this September. I cannot speak highly enough of Bright Horizons, Southborough Woodlands Preschool and the team. She has grown in confidence and ability, but most importantly has been constantly loved, cared for and given lots of opportunities for fun and laughter! They are exceptional and every day that goes by I am always so pleased that I picked Woodlands for this part of the journey. We will be so sorry to leave but know they have got our daughter to the best possible place she could be and have given her a lovely ride in getting there!

We have been so impressed with this preschool where our daughter started two years ago and our son has recently joined her. The staff are nurturing, caring and exude positivity. It is no surprise that our children love it there.

Brilliant nursery, very helpful staff. Since going here my son has come along leaps and bounds with all the different activities they do. My son was a late walker and with their help, he soon got on his feet and now there is no stopping him. He is showing so much confidence now and he absolutely loves it there. They are now supporting him with his speech and encouraging him to make new sounds. I have noticed this at home and he is starting to be so much more vocal. The facilities here are also first-class, he always comes out with a smile on his face. Brilliant nursery. Friendly, helpful and supportive staff.

I still love this nursery. They have some long-standing members of staff here, which is wonderful to see. They had a member of staff leave (due to health) and come back, so they must be doing something right! My daughter loves it too, always happy to go in. They helped her master potty training with ease. They always have fun activities planned and my daughter comes home pleased. The app is great. the communication is great. The carers make an effort to understand what is important to you in terms of parenting style etc. My daughter will leave in 2024, to go to school, meaning I have been a client for seven years! Highly recommend.
