About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of 2 to 3 year olds can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week, and some families on qualifying benefits can claim 15 hours regardless of working status. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 38 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 6 funded hours per day, stretched across 38 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 18 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

Our son has been attending Teddies for over a year and we are delighted with his progress. We feel relaxed and reassured leaving our son with staff who are always welcoming, caring and professional. It’s been great to see our son’s social, practical and self-dressing skills develop over the last year. He especially loves playing outside in the large garden and going on nature walks around the school. We value the notes his Key Worker makes in his daily contact book, 1-1 review meetings, photos and artwork in his Learning Journey book and his termly reports.

Both our children have attended teddies and we could not be happier with the service they provide. The staff are always cheerful and well presented and most importantly they really care about the welfare, happiness and development of the children in their care. There is a wonderful emphasis on outdoor play and the garden is child heaven! Our son loves going on nature walks, the art activities and the music class he attends. We feel very lucky to have found such a special place for our children to play, learn and grow.

Before she started she struggled when being left with other people but the staff were great with her and she settled in almost straight away. She is always bursting with stories to tell me at home time. There are always so many activities for the children to get involved with and the lovely big outside space is an added bonus.

There are always a wide variety of activities available and the garden is lovely and big, providing plenty of space for her to run around. The staff have been brilliant at making her feel welcome and comfortable, and I know she is in safe hands when I leave her in the morning. I only have good things to say about my experience with Teddies.
