Spring Grove School Nursery

My son has enjoyed his first year at the nursery. He went there aged 2. He is an outdoors boy, and Spring Grove has been able to incorporate learning with his love of the outdoors. He spends every day out whether sunny, raining or snowing. My son started very quiet and unsure, and the nursery has helped him to blossom. He takes pride in everything that he learns and has learnt skills that will assist him later on in life. The teachers work with you at every stage from teaching the children to socialise, manners, developmental skills and basic skills such as toilet training. He is listening and learning about boundaries and what is acceptable. It really is a joyous setting. The food sounds lovely, and the facilities that my child will have as he moves on from French lessons, music lessons to swimming and forest school, sounds like we could not have chosen better.

I thoroughly recommend Spring Grove nursery and cannot praise both Teddies and Giraffes enough. They both have a very warm and friendly feel, without compromise on the highest standards of care. I have a child in each class, and they both absolutely love their days at nursery and are always eager to go. It is such a lovely setting, and the outdoor space is wonderful. The staff are so experienced and nurturing, I couldn’t feel more confident leaving my little ones in their care. Communication is fantastic, especially the new online system where you often get to see photos of what your children have been getting up to and how it relates to their development. My son was very excited to tell me all about the fun he had in the snow and how he warmed up afterwards with a hot chocolate!

Wonderful nursery with patient, fun and caring staff. Our daughter is always excited to go to nursery; she loves outdoor play to explore and jumping in muddy puddles. Cannot recommend it enough. Happy child, happy parents!

We have two children at Spring Grove going through the nursery years, and they both have loved it, and the teachers have been fantastic. The grounds are lovely and make for happy children. Would highly recommend.

His school lunch looks so nice; I often wonder if I could pop down for lunch, all hot and freshly cooked.

My daughter started at Spring Grove back in September 2020, and we have loved every second! I get regular updates on her progress, the staff are amazing, and much loved by the kiddies! The school is situated in a rural setting and has plenty of outdoors at its disposal, meaning the kids get plenty of time outdoors, rain or shine, which is important to us! I honestly couldn’t fault in any way! Ten stars!

This is by far the very best nursery in the area headed up by the amazing manager. Children are given the very best head start and foundation to learning ready for school life. Their response to the pandemic and the measures they have implemented are a testament to the first-class nursery they run.

Wonderful, caring, nurturing nursery with patient, fun and knowledgable staff. Lots of outdoor time and space. My little one is always buzzing from her day at nursery, singing a new song she's learnt or talking about a new book!

Our son has been at Spring Grove for a while now, and he is absolutely thriving in an environment that is perfect for children. I can’t speak highly enough of the nursery, with staff who genuinely care about the children and their development. We’ve had a great collaboration with staff to give our son the best possible development opportunities. Moving up to full days has opened up the cooked lunches, which have been raved about.

Our son attended from September 2019 for a full year, before starting Reception. We couldn't have been happier with the experience he received, and how personal the care was. The food at Spring Grove is excellent too, as is the wrap-around care. They also went above and beyond during the COVID crisis, especially in how they provided additional care during the Easter holidays for children of key workers. The facilities are also second to none, and we really appreciated the French and Music input from such a young age.

The nursery prepares the children not only for the reception but for everyday life. The level and education that the children received is head and shoulders above the nurseries in the local area but not sacrificing play or imagination. French, PE and even shows of confidence such as eye contact and greetings push this nursery above those around it.

Our daughter has loved being at Spring Grove. She has settled so quickly. She tells me the food is yummy. Our daughter has learnt so much. We are so pleased with her progress.

My daughter is extremely happy at Teddies. Since joining her language and communication skills, outgoing attitude and eagerness to learn has come on leaps and bounds. She completes a range of activities and is always keen to tell me what she has learnt. Teachers are very supportive and are able to answer any questions I have. They give advice on how best to teach at home and include me in learning. Excellent school.

Spring Grove Nursery is an exceptional nursery, the overall feel is a loving, safe, inspiring environment. The staff are amazing and really go above and beyond to ensure all children are cared for as individuals. ( I have had 2 children attend they have really different personalities and worries and the staff addressed them). They excel at communicating and keeping me informed about my child and the nursery as a whole. I only believe they achieve higher levels of care and learning at Spring Grove compared to other nurseries.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery and are so glad she went to Spring Grove. Our daughter has really blossomed over the last year, she is so confident and happy, and that is testament to the staff and children at Spring Grove. Thank you for making her (and us) so happy.

My third child has recently started at Spring Grove Teddies and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention they give to my son. He has settled quickly and I have no doubt this is due to the warm and caring environment they provide. After just a few sessions he is singing and counting and recalling enjoyable moments experienced during his sessions there.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time at Teddies. The staff are always happy and caring. The facilities are exactly what I wanted for my daughter large, open play garden and lots of toys to play with

I could not recommend Spring Grove School Teddies more highly! My son has enjoyed every day there. It has been a pleasure to watch him grow from a slightly timid 2-year-old to the confident boy all the staff have helped shape. The level of feedback and care is superb, it is a wholesome loving environment and the perfect start to his education.
