Pennies Day Nursery - Newnham Court, Maidstone

Special mention goes to all the staff, especially a particular staff member in Little Lunars, who always goes above and beyond. No task feels like it's too much. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Both our children have gone to Pennies and one is currently at Little Lunars. Both our daughters loved every room and the connection with all the ladies is amazing. They do a lot of outside play and plenty of arts and crafts. They kindly make little gifts for us to keep as keepsakes. This includes Christmas decorations and hand prints. The ladies do generally seem to love the kids and light up for each kid that comes in the room. Would recommend!

They know all of the children so well and support with all aspects of their care - thank you to all the staff for all the fun, care and nurturing you provide.

The management team and the facilities are all excellent too, and she loves the food which is a huge bonus for us!!

My son has been with Pennies since April. The staff have been excellent and so supportive given how he has struggled with settling in. Big shout out to a particular member of staff in Supernovas that has been so supportive of him and really helped getting him comfortable. My little one happily runs into nursery ready for a fun day ahead!

So, if you are looking for a place where you don't have to worry about what your little one spent the day doing, what they ate or did not eat, who played with, and where their interests lie, then get your little one into Pennies.

Our daughter has been attending Pennies since she was a baby and is now at school and moved into PKC. She's always loved Pennies and has made some great friends there. We as parents have never had any complaints at all and think it's a fantastic setting. All the staff truly care and we are so pleased we found Pennies!

Pennies are exceptional in every way. My daughter had such a positive experience attending their setting and I'd highly recommend to any other parent to send their child to Pennies. Communication is brilliant, the setting is always clean and the staff are so friendly, kind, and caring.

My son and daughter have an amazing time at Pennies Kids Club, they come home with the most interesting stories and creative work they've made there. I always ask them about their favourite part of their day when we have dinner around the table together and they can never think of one because they loved the whole day there. I can't praise the staff there enough for how much they reassured me how they would be when they attend as I worked in another nursery myself and as a manager and see the negative side of nurseries a lot but this one exceeded my hopes and expectations for my children, they always tell me they're doing engaging activities and tell me all about the friends they've met and how lovely the food, toys and staff are. Thank you for looking after my babies, Pennies Kids Club, cannot wait to book them in for the December holiday club!

My experience with Pennies has been extremely poor, from start to finish. Child staff ratio is not abided by and their procedures and policies leave no room to ensure children are seen and supported as individuals, with individual needs. I would never again go anywhere near Pennies with any of my children. Considering they are the most expensive nursery around, it is shocking just how poor their care is of children. Pennies offers average childcare, and even that is not consistently safely delivered (e.g. when the child-staff ratio is not adhered to), placing children at potential risk.

My son started at Pennies Newnham Court in September. He is absolutely thriving! The staff are so friendly and I am so happy I found somewhere that cares so much about my baby and his development. The communication is fantastic, I love seeing updates every week and pictures of what he is getting up to. Thank you so much to everyone at Pennies for taking such great care of him.

We have had an amazing experience with Pennies Day Nursery - Newnham Court, Maidstone. They have taught my child a lot including communication, friendship and teamwork. The summer fun days they have yearly are a special treat for both kids and parents. The atmosphere is always happy and it's a lovely way to meet and spend time with other parents, children and staff. It is one big family there and you do feel it.

Thank you Pennies, as a working mum it has been invaluable to have you providing her with a variety fun activities, different meals and learning opportunities that I would never have been able to do, especially messy play.

Amazing from start to finish. Both my children have attended term-time Preschool over the years, with my son due to finish here in a few weeks. Can’t fault the team at all. Two staff members, in particular, are so good with the children, nothing is too much and they are just all round good eggs. Thanks for looking after my two amazingly and getting them ready for their next big step; school!

Every single staff member is incredibly caring and we are so lucky to be able to work and feel comfortable with our little girl being here.

My daughter has been so happy since joining Pennies in 2020. The staff are exceptional and each key person my daughter has had has known her so well. The activities they provide for the children are fun and original. The management are approachable and helpful and I would highly recommend Pennies Newnham Court to anyone looking for quality childcare.

After visiting stay and play at Pennies, Newham court I must say I am blown away at how amazing and professional a certain member of staff was in shooting stars! She interacted with all the children and even the parents, she was so welcoming I really recommend this nursery to all parents/carers.

My son absolutely loves coming to the Pennies Kids Club during the school holidays. Every day of every week is so varied, it's clear they put a lot of effort into planning each day to make sure it is jam-packed with activities. They also do 1 or even 2 trips per week ranging from the zoo to the beach! I've been so impressed and more so my son loves to go which is the most important thing. Thank you Pennies
