Oaklands Day Nursery

We are absolutely delighted with the care offered at Oaklands Nursery. The staff show unbelievable kindness and energy with the young children and, while my daughter is only in the ‘Dinosaurs’ baby room they spend so much time thinking of innovative ways to introduce different types of play. Staff are incredibly talented at their jobs and I’m so grateful for the amazing care that they give my little girl.

We are huge fans of Oaklands Day Nursery! Our little pre-schooler is so happy there and our baby will be joining them next year. The pre-school team is amazing. They go over and beyond. The activities are varied, the children spend lots of time learning and playing outdoors, and parents receive detailed feedback on how our child is doing. I would definitely recommend Oaklands to other parents!

I have been sending my 1-year-old daughter to Oakland’s since August, and it’s been brilliant. She loves going and gets to do so many different activities. The staff are wonderful, and I love the daily reports and pictures we as parents get. I’m so pleased we chose Oaklands. Going back to work full time as a first time Mum is daunting enough, but knowing she’s having the best time and is in safe hands has made it so much easier.

All three of my children have attended Oaklands over the last 7 years. My son who currently attends absolutely loves going. He gets to do a wide range of activities and enjoy the wonderful garden. The staff are very caring and the communication is great.

My son has been going to Oaklands Day Nursery for the last one and a half years and I have been really happy with the nursery and the care he receives. He loves attending and the amount of activities he gets to do with his friends is great. I love getting the report and photos at the end of each day and seeing what he’s been doing. The staff are always welcoming, very supportive and provide ideas of activities to do at home as well as suggestions for how you can help with your child’s development. I love the fact my son goes outside and enjoys the garden whatever the weather, and he has also been enjoying the forest school. I would recommend Oaklands Day Nursery to other parents.

Oaklands Day Nursery have been a fantastic nursery for our son and our daughter also joined recently and has settled so well. The staff are extremely supportive, kind and understanding. The learning facilities are great and the garden is fantastic, both kids love being there. Gives us as parents peace of mind, thank you.

My son loves the nursery and has thrived so much under the care of the staff. Even through the Covid-19 pandemic, the management and the staff have been amazing. Not only with sending out messages to keep in touch and activities to do at home during lockdowns but to also ensure the children are able to continue their progress through great activities such as the 'forest school' element. My son loves spending his time outside exploring. I am so pleased we chose Oaklands Day Nursery and would highly recommend it and thanks again to the brilliant staff!

The staff have been absolutely amazing, my child's development has come on massively. He has made so much progress since being at the nursery. The encouragement and support they give him is amazing. Always friendly and welcoming on entry. This gives parents peace of mind.

My son has been going to Oaklands Day Nursery for just under three years and my daughter started almost a year ago. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff in the different rooms at Oaklands Day Nursery and they really, honestly care about our kids. The outside space is amazing and the children use it every day. I have recommended it to many friends and their kids have also loved it there!

We’ve been extremely happy with the care provided to both of our daughters. Our eldest absolutely loves Oaklands Day Nursery and has grown even more confident during her time at the nursery. She has a wonderful relationship with her amazing key worker. Our youngest, a lockdown baby, is now very settled and is developing faster now she is able to interact with other children her age. All the staff are lovely and genuinely care so much for the children. The daily updates we receive are excellent.

Would thoroughly recommend Oaklands Day Nursery. Both my children have attended and the staff are so caring and nurturing. The staff work really well with the parents to overcome any challenges that the children may have and are fully supportive. Both my boys especially loved the garden which has so much to offer!

Considering all the challenges that nurseries have had to face recently, they have been amazing at ensuring our children are safe. I've seen a huge improvement in my boys development in speech. The staff are always on the ball, they have truly been amazing during this tough time.

They have been amazing throughout the pandemic with putting the kids and their feelings and worries first. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Oaklands Day Nursery and we will miss it dearly when our little girl heads off to school.

My two daughters have attended Oaklands for the past 18 months and have made such strong bonds with all their key workers. The daily updates published are full of details, which makes it easier to have a conversation about how their day went. One of the key selling points in sending our children here - is the outside space. There is no other nursery in Tonbridge with this space available. The staff are incredibly supportive and kind. If one daughter bakes, the key worker will always make sure they bake enough for the other sister. This small act of kindness always makes my day.

I would like to say that I am extremely happy with Oaklands Nursery. Staff is very welcoming, friendly and supportive, they are kind and very professional. Have a great outdoor space. Throughout covid, they have been very safe and informal but sharing weekly updates but also home learning ideas.

An absolutely fantastic nursery. My son is 3 and I’ve noticed such wonderful development in his social skills, learning and language since being at Oaklands. He loves going to nursery and has a lovely friendship group who he talks about all the time. I couldn’t be happier with the nursery and staff, I will be so sad when he moves on.

Our son has been attending Oaklands for almost 12 months now and has always really enjoyed himself there. He first attended at around 10 months old and has built lovely relationships with other children and the carers over the past year. This has been especially important during Covid as he has missed out on face to face relationships with many other family and friends. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and we really enjoy reading the daily updates and seeing photos of what he and his friends have been up to.

My daughter has loved being at Oaklands since she started a year and a half ago. The children spend lots of time outdoors come rain or shine and they are always doing fun activities and crafts that encourage new skills. The staff have been brilliant throughout the pandemic and have kept us updated at all times. They have made the children feel safe and happy and I’m so glad for their ongoing support.

My daughter has been attending Oaklands for six weeks, the staff have done an amazing job at helping her settle in. They are friendly, approachable and their feedbacks are brilliant. The activities that they do with the children are varied, seasonal and they put effort into them. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my daughter, she is coming out of her shell now and is beginning to show her cheeky, happy personality.
