My son loves coming to nursery and enjoys playing with the sensory toys.

It's a lovely nursery. My son really enjoys coming in. The environment is great and encourages playful learning. Staff are great and I am really happy to have chosen this nursery for my child.

Thank you to two members of staff, in particular.

My daughter is very happy at nursery. She goes in very happily and is always very excited to see her friends. She doesn't talk much about what she's been up to but comes home appropriately mucky and always seems really content when I see her playing in the garden.

It has been a very nice experience getting our first child into such a lovely nursery. As new parents, it was a bit of a nerve-racking thought to leave a baby with new people. but everyone here is so lovely and has made it all very easy.

Our daughter has been at Potters Bar for 2 years now and she has been so happy. The staff are all really lovely and friendly and give you lots of feedback on their day. We love getting pictures sent of our daughter having lots of fun.

My daughter came here from another nursery and was immediately made welcome. She always speaks highly of the staff and seems to enjoy the activities. The menu is sufficiently varied and seconds are offered. Overall, I am happy with Potters Bar nursery and plan to send my baby here, when the time comes.

So pleased to see such familiar faces from when my older daughter attended. They have made it such a family environment. All staff are so friendly and welcoming. Really love the new reporting system and the new layout inside and out. Well done team, you're doing amazing.

Our daughter is so happy at Head Start Day Nursery. She has additional needs which we are still in the process of having diagnosed. The support from the nursery has been outstanding. Our daughter is fully involved in daily activities and we feel she is so well cared for. The nursery works with us and outside agencies to make sure our daughter has the right support and remains a happy, healthy child. Thank you.

Amazing, caring and loving people! Definitely feel like I am leaving my baby in good hands. She is happy to come in and always has cuddles when not too keen on staying. Amazing activities and outdoor spaces. Very happy with the nursery.

The standard of care and learning that my son is receiving is excellent. He loves coming each day and we are noticing a high improvement in his level of development. He is now beginning to speak and repeat individual words and we also notice that he is recognising extra nursery rhymes and is fully aware of all the actions (head, shoulders, knees and toes for example). My only slight criticism would be the difficulty experienced on your monthly invoicing side before you switched to collecting payments by direct debit, but I am pleased that this is now resolved and only a temporary issue whilst the new ownership of the nursery adjusted and settled. Special thanks to three members of staff in particular who have all been amazing.

Both my grandsons go to Head Start Day Nursery Potters Bar. I have been impressed with the care that they have there, the numerous activities that are undertaken and the way that the staff listen to the parents and children and ensure that everyone is happy with decisions that are made. The updates that my daughter gets are full of details and information about the day and I love to see the pictures of both boys and the fun that they have each day

Overall we are very happy with the level of care provided by the wonderful team at Head Start Day Nursery Potters Bar. Our child seems very content here and will talk often about the staff and other children he interacts with on a daily basis. The whole setting, both indoors and out, has been massively improved in recent times. Lots of various days/celebrations are recognised and celebrated leading to a very diverse and educational outlook for our child. Any concerns we have for our child are always listened to and addressed and we feel supported in the progression of his development. Our child is happy and enjoys his time there, and that to us is a clear sign that it is the right place and environment for him.

My daughter has attended Head Start for a year and absolutely loves it. The staff are very caring and attentive. Dietary requirements and minor accidents are well managed. We receive detailed daily updates online including photos, activities, food eaten and nappy changes. Their diet is probably more nutritious and varied than mine! It's been lovely seeing my daughter develop and learn lots at this nursery.

My two sons attend Head Start, I have one in preschool and one under 2's. It has recently been refurbished and has a great feel. Both my boys love going to nursery and the staff have been amazing. My eldest is due to start school in September and thanks to Head Start he is more than ready for this. I would highly recommend to other parents.

Fantastic service from the staff. The manager of this nursery is very caring and capable as is her entire team. I feel very confident that my children are well looked after here. I don't worry about leaving my baby here and I know I would elsewhere.

Very pleased with nursery. My daughter is so happy and always willing to go there. Great and caring staff. Very good food. It has recently been refurbished - everything looks nice and clean. I am so pleased with Head Start Day Nursery and so is my daughter.

Both of my children have attended Head Start Nursery and have enjoyed their experiences. We have been very impressed with the level of care and attention to the children throughout their early years. We would recommend Head Start based on the learning experience, values and support for working parents.

The nursery staff were amazing during the Covid pandemic, always making us and the children feel safe. Thanks for all you've done and continue to do.
