Everyone at this establishment is so lovely. They genuinely care for all of the children and always ensure the correct support is provided to ensure they flourish. The food is also excellent as is the variety of activities the children do.

Children love coming to nursery and in the mornings they tell me they are "going to have a great day at nursery". It is lovely to hear what they have learnt in the day. The app is great as you can see in real-time what they have had for lunch/nappies etc.

We have had an excellent experience sending both my daughter and son to this nursery. My son is learning so much and gaining so much confidence being a lockdown baby. They have improved and develop the nursery really well and made it a good comfortable place for kids.

We have been really pleased with the overall experience our child has had at Head Start. As a fairly shy child, they have been great at bringing her out of her shell and encouraging her to get involved and make friends. Our child comes home happy every evening with a smile on her face.

The staff at the nursery are wonderful, they really care about my son and give him comfort when he needs it. He is a little unhappy about the new garden not having a slide anymore. Staff are always happy to talk about his development and how he is getting on at nursery.

I began my journey here in 2010 as an apprentice and have been privileged to work in various roles within the nursery, leading to my position as manager. This experience allows me to have a special understanding of how to best support both the children and my team throughout the nursery.
I have achieved a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and in 2022, I furthered my education to become a qualified Level 3 SENDCo.

Hello, I’m Summer.I began my journey at the nursery as an apprentice in 2014, working towards my Level 3 qualification while gaining experience across all age groups. After qualifying, I became a full-time nursery practitioner, first supporting children under two, and later working with two-year-olds.
My progression continued when I became Room Leader in the pre-school room, a role I held for several years. I was then promoted to Third in Charge, where I gained further valuable experience before stepping into my current role as Deputy Manager.
Having worked with children of all ages, I feel well-equipped to support both my team and the children in our care. My passion for childcare began in childhood, inspired by my mum’s role as a childminder, and it has grown into a fulfilling career. It’s incredibly rewarding to make a positive impact on children’s development and to watch them reach important milestones, feeling proud and accomplished.
I take great pride in being part of this community and in helping to create a warm, home-from-home environment for every family who joins us.
