Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Watford Junction is right in the heart of the centre of the town and is based on one of the platforms of Watford Junction train station, making it ideal for commuting parents and their families.

They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help to share their core values with their children such as encouraging them to express their feelings to making a difference in the world.

Their ParentZone app keeps parents/carers informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on happy children so they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that have big environmental differences.

Watford Junction has 4 home rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 1 year, one room for 1-2 year olds, one room for the 2-3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. Each room has its own nappy changing facility and children's bathroom area which promotes independence for the children. All rooms have direct access to free flow play allowing access at any time to a large outside play area with a soft surface, grass area and large under cover area.

There is an extensive enclosed garden area which is tastefully sectioned off to provide safe play areas even if all age groups are out at the same time and includes a covered area to enable children to have access to the outdoors in all weather conditions.

My boy started in February when he was 10 months old. They have been fabulous and really helped with the transition period. They keep me updated on the day he has had and are happy to chat through any queries etc. The convenience of being so close to Watford Junction is worth paying a bit extra for
in my opinion, as a commuter. We are really happy we chose this nursery.

My daughter loves going to nursery. The staff are lovely and caring. Some of which we've known for years s our older children came here.
They are entertained throughout the day with painting, outdoor play, cooking, playing with textures, dress up and songtime the list is endless.
They are very attentive
to individual children's needs. My daughter was intolerant to cows milk as a baby and made sure her diet was dairy free and gave her soya alternatives. Like I said my daughter loves going and is very happy there and that is my priority.

The nursery setup is located at a convenient location and opening times are very suitable for parents who commute from the train station. The nursery can improve in cleanliness in some rooms and providing more attention to kids hygiene.

Both my children have attended this nursery since October 2014. They started in the baby room and are now in pre-school and I am delighted with their progress. They love all of the amazing staff who take a keen interest in both of them. I particularly like that as twins they are treated as individuals
with separate key workers. Positive help and guidance with potty training, encouraging healthy eating and fun learning creates a perfect environment, this coupled with the convenience of location for the train station makes it much easier being working parents.
Staff turnover is low so that really helps with my children feeling comfortable. Each day when I pick up, I get a full download of their day.
I have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.

The staff in this nursery have been wonderful since my son started in August last year. They look after him and stimulate him so well I almost think I'm not exciting enough for him on our day off together! Easy and convenient as we are working parents in the city, great drop off and pickup times suitable for many parents but unavailable at other nurseries from what other parents tell us.


Great all in 1 price you only have to provide things if you have specific needs otherwise all generic nappies,

My son went to this nursery and is now in reception. My daughter is now starting here because it has been such a great experience with my son, I had no second thoughts in sending my daughter here. My son got all prepared for school from here. He learnt a lot, enjoyed a lot and was very well taken care
