Busy Bees Bishops Stortford (St Michael's Mead) have made our son's transition to nursery when he turned 1 fantastic. Communication is really a strength of the nursery - we're always kept in the loop with how he's progressing, updates to team members etc. The staff are fantastic - it's brilliant to know your child is being looked after by people who care and have passion for the work they do.

Such a wonderful team. I trust my son is well looked after. Over the moon he is at this nursery and with this lovely team. Emails get responded to promptly and the team always has time to speak about any concerns.

The Busy Bees my child attends is incredible. They are so kind, welcoming and caring with the children and so helpful to us, as parents. I feel I can speak to any of the team at any time about my child. The manager is visible and approachable and is so quick to respond to any queries or concerns.

Thank you to everyone at St Michael's Mead for looking after him so very well. I will always be grateful for the work you do!

Lovely nursery. My son really enjoys his time here. The staff are great! And the facilities are good too. Lots of activities planned and I am kept up to date via their app and also when I pick him up. Can't fault it!

We love Busy Bees, our kid has developed so much over the last six months and it has been fantastic to watch. Nursery is one of her favourite places to be and she's always excited to see all her friends and teachers. I couldn't recommend it enough, they really care about the kids.

I would highly recommend!

I hope they will be able to increase staff retention which seems to be a bit of an issue.

My daughter has attended the nursery from the age of 10 months and we've had a great experience. She really wasn't a fan at the start but the staff made such an effort to bond with her and even rock her to sleep. She now absolutely loves nursery and runs in without looking back. I can only think she loves it because she has such a great time. She also has grown attached to a few of the key staff in the room which is beautiful to see. They are also really responsive to emails or queries which is great and puts your mind at ease. Overall, very happy with our experience so far!

My daughter went to St Michael's Mead Nursery (Busy Bees Bishops Stortford) between January - April, since the age of 1. Our whole family experience at this place was fantastic, from the first tour, placement and helping to settle in, overcome initial periods of getting used to and growing. The areas in the nursery are very well kept and give a lot of light and space for children to wonder and play as well as do essential things. Special thanks to the centre director for accommodating our special travel occasions and a member of staff and her team for loving and caring for my daughter every day since the beginning to the last day. We could see our daughter become at ease with the new environment, developing much faster than before the nursery environment and learning many new things, overall enjoying her time there, to the point, on a couple of occasions, she did not want to go home at the end of the day! Many thanks and wishing all the best of health and success to the team.

As my son is fairly new in the nursery, the staff have helped him transition from his previous nursery and settle in well and he now enjoys going to the nursery. They seem to provide a good range of activities which has helped my son's development grow even further. They support the child across different needs which gives us peace of mind, knowing that they focus on areas that need to be strengthened. The staff are friendly and approachable and will do their best to meet my son's learning needs. Overall, a friendly nursery and so far, my son has enjoyed it.

My son is still attending and due to leave in September and start school. I will be sad for our time at Busy Bees to be over. We have had the most pleasant experience with all current staff and do not have anything negative to say about our experience. Thank you Busy Bees.

A wonderful nursery, every member of staff is kind, considerate and caring. They have really nurtured my daughter from 10 months (now nearly 2 years) and I’m so grateful to them and how much that has enabled her to grow as a little person. I feel like the staff have all taken so much interest in her and to tailor the environment to support her to flourish. I couldn’t wish for a better nursery!

The nursery holds regular events for you to attend with your child and not just during the day so that if you do work you can attend.

Such a wonderful nursery. All the staff are warm, friendly and make our child feel safe. They all truly care for our child’s development and well-being. We’ve seen our child become so much more confident and interactive over the years and it’s a joy to see how much they love the environment they spend every day in.

My daughter attended this nursery a couple of years ago from the age of 1 until she started school. To this day she still remembers and talks about her happy time and memories from this nursery. When I had my son last year, after looking at other nurseries in and around the area, none compared to this one, and I knew this was still the best nursery to suit his and my needs. My son started at this nursery when he was 7 months old, he’s nearly 1 now. He settled in very quickly, and is always happy to see the staff when I drop him off, never any tears! Whilst I’m at work I receive updates of his day on the app and photos, which I love, as they give me reassurance that he is enjoying his time at nursery. The activities they set up are always creative, fun, age appropriate and help with their development. Overall, I know my son is in the best nursery, he is safe, looked after by caring staff, and most importantly he is happy and having the best time! That’s all I can ask for!

Our daughter started nursery at Busy Bees from when she was 7 months old as I had to return to work. We were extremely anxious about her starting nursery so young with a bunch of new faces and in an entirely new environment but Busy Bees made this transition as smooth as possible for our daughter and us as parents. Our daughter's keyworker was super friendly, approachable and attentive which left us feeling reassured that she was being taken care of. Our daughter has developed hugely since she joined Busy Bees and we've been really pleased with the nursery so far. Thank you Busy Bees!

My daughter has been at Busy Bees since she was 11 months old. She has transitioned through nearly two of the base rooms and is currently doing her settling sessions in the preschool room. I cannot ask for a better nursery. The carers are incredibly caring, loving, and supportive towards my daughter’s well-being and development needs. There have been challenges along the way (as to be expected), but they have always been handled with a high level of professionalism for which I am appreciative. I really cannot ask for a better staff to mind my child.

My son has been going to this nursery for the last three years, I think it's brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The leadership of the nursery is excellent and the team engagement, learning environment and staff retention are reflective of this. Team members are welcoming, kind, caring and engaged and I feel confident leaving my child in their care. The setting overall and each of the base rooms are lovely. The team in each room put significant thought into the ideas, activities and stimulus that enable my son to learn, grow and develop and the outdoor space and outdoor play are always a highlight for him! Overall, for us, it's been an excellent nursery, and my little boy has been very happy here.
