Rainbow Corner Southsea

Absolutely lovely Nursery. The staff were always happy to see the children and they were happy to see them. While my daughter was only there for a year (only changed due to work relocation) her confidence and speech grew with the support of the staff. They do plenty of fun activities, support personal growth and are accommodating for any additional needs.

Our little girl started at Rainbow Corner when she was 6 months old, and it's honestly been the perfect place for her. There's such a lovely atmosphere where the little ones can really be themselves, and the staff take such brilliantly good care of them and genuinely enjoy them. We love that we get to come for regular stay and plays to see how they're getting on, the app is really helpful at keeping us updated while she's there, and the office has always been so responsive to any questions we've had. So glad we found Rainbow Corner!

Adding to the disappointment, the cancellation notice was addressed using the wrong name, which left me feeling that the nursery did not even take the care to correctly identify the child whose place they were withdrawing.

Rainbow Corner as a whole is great, and I cannot fault the staff in any way. They are so welcoming and positive. My daughter loves going to Nursery and often doesn't want to leave! All the kids that attend are so happy when they are dropped off and picked up. It's clear to see it's a happy and fun environment.

Rainbow Corner Nursery has been an exceptional nursery for our daughter. The staff are fantastic, engaging with the kids, getting them involved in playtime and learning and then giving good feedback at the end of the day. Regular focus weeks help identify where the kids are doing well and where they need help. Part of this helped identify that our daughter was having some overly emotional responses to setbacks and we used this together to help her learn how to cope with these outbursts. We've been invited in for stay-and-play several times, which is always a wonderful treat for all of us.

Both my girls attend Rainbow Corner Nursery, and I am so glad they do! My eldest joined at 18 months old old and was a shy lockdown toddler who had not interacted with other children before, she soon came out of her shell and is now a confident, clever little girl who loves nursery! My youngest joined at 9 months old, and has already progressed so much in herself too. Both my girls have complex heart issues, and nothing is too much for the team at Rainbow Corner to help them in any way they can. Look no further, this is the best nursery around! the team actually care about every single child in their setting. Thank you Rainbow Corner for all you do for my girls.!

Such a lovely setting. My children love coming to nursery and are always so excited to see the staff. The nursery likes to maintain strong relationships with parents which I think is great, and they like to invite us in regularly.

All 3 of our children have been to Rainbow Corner and we could not be happier. My child always loves his days at nursery and the staff put so much effort and enthusiasm into his development. As a teacher myself, it is reassuring to see how exceptional they are when it comes to safeguarding procedures too. It is also completely evident how much the staff love being around children and they always have such a caring and positive nature. It is also worth adding that we are always very envious of their meals - they sound incredibly appetizing and nutritious! I could not recommend Rainbow Corner enough.

I can't recommend Rainbow Corner Nursery Ltd enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming, it's very professionally managed with quick and easy communication but most importantly my son likes going there and we feel comfortable leaving him. It's child-orientated and focuses on individual needs. I'm impressed with how well they know my child and his likes and dislikes. It's a lovely place and I'm very grateful for their work and support every day.

It's a cosy place. The nursery has a warm, homely feeling to it. The staff to children ratio is good. They are friendly and engaged with the children under their care. Being a pandemic baby, my daughter doesn't feel comfortable around new faces and didn't settle in the initial three hours of settling sessions. So the management generously offered three further sessions free of charge. I'm confident she will settle in soon and enjoy her time in Rainbow Corner. Would recommend it to a friend.

Both my children have attended nursery from 11months old and can’t recommend them enough. They helped them settle very quickly and have since loved attending twice weekly. The children have lots of fun activities to do which change regularly whilst learning the basics to begin school. They come home knackered but happy and healthy!

Brilliant nursery! Staff are very welcoming and help with any problem. They support all their families to their best ability! My child is always happy, clean and arriving/leaving nursery with a smile on her face. I truly adore the nursery and staff and will be sad when it becomes the time for my child to leave the nursery to start school.

My little girl has been at rainbow corner since she was 6 months old she is now coming up to two years old and wow what can I say I have seen her learn so much she comes home doing Something new every time and she only goes two days a week all the girls in her class are so lovely! She loves every one of her teachers she comes home soo happy all the time I’m so happy with how my little girl improved wouldn’t send her to any other nursery.

Rainbow Corner Nursery is a lovely nursery school, my children look forward to going there every morning, the staff are so supportive. Management are great, would definitely recommend Rainbow Corner to anyone.

My son started full time with Rainbow Corner when he was just 9 months old and I was so worried about leaving him, especially as he doesn't sleep well in a cot. The staff have been amazing and he absolutely loves it at nursery, always has a big smile for his keyworker when I drop him off and wants to go back in when I pick him up! We've also managed to get him to start taking naps at nursery which has amazed me as I thought he'd never sleep. I would recommend this nursery to others with young babies.

We have been really pleased with how our son has been getting on at Rainbow Corner. The staff are always positive, enthusiastic, nurturing and take time to get to know each child individually. Our son enjoys going into the nursery, and being at the nursery has made a huge difference to his confidence, development and learning. We cannot fault the level of communication between parents and the nursery, the facilities and the opportunities the children have to learn and grow during their time at nursery. We have appreciated the high level of care provided and the security of knowing our son is being well looked after and supported.

My little boy has been going to Rainbow Corner for 18-months now, and we couldn’t ask for better. He loves going there, is so well nurtured and cared for. The staff are amazing, friendly, kind and approachable. All of the children’s needs are provided for and more. They put us totally at ease from day one, and he has come such a long way. Despite Covid, he is so well socialised. He even eats better at nursery than at home. I highly recommend Rainbow Corner.
