Rainbow Corner Southsea

My daughter is always excited to go to Rainbow Corner! It’s a great place with wonderful staff who are so hardworking and caring. The meals always sound amazing and there is always a great range of activities available. I would not hesitate to recommend highly to anyone.

This nursery is amazing, and I'm so happy we were able to secure a spot here. My daughter has developed so much from attending only two days a week here. It's abundantly clear this isn't a place where they just care for your kids, but instead it's a place where they also actively encourage the development and wellbeing of your child. The nursery actively takes your feedback and actions and reports back to you any issues.

The staff are caring and extremely quick to respond to emails.

I can't recommend this Nursery enough.

My toddler is eighteen months old he has learnt so much in the last six months at Rainbow corner and always seems very happy to go in and when I pick him up. The staff are all amazing and you can see how caring they are.

All three of my children have attended Rainbow Corner and I am so glad that they all had the opportunity to attend a setting where all the staff are so lovely and provide such high standards of care. We have used other nurseries but there isn’t any comparison to the attention to detail that Rainbow Corner provides. My children have always enjoyed nursery; my older two have really fond memories of their time there. The staff clearly know the children really well and provide good daily feedback, both on the gate and through the online care diary. The food is well balanced, with an interesting and varied menu. The nursery is well organised and managed, it’s always easy to talk to someone on the phone or via email. I would definitely recommend Rainbow Corner to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

Can’t fault Rainbow Corner my daughter has come a long way with her speech since she started attending, staff are lovely and deeply care for our and every child. It’s a huge building with loads of staff who cover everything you would possibly need 5 stars all over!

The ladies at Rainbow Corner are all amazing. They take the time to get to know the children and nurture their interests. I would highly recommend Rainbow Corner, my son loves going in and is learning so much.

I can't recommend Rainbow Corner highly enough. The staff are amazing, friendly and they really care about the children - really getting to know them. Both my kids have just loved their time there. They bounce out of the nursery each day happy and smiling and excited about their day - what more could you want... If I could give the team 20 stars I would! Rainbow Corner Nursery has exceeded my expectations of what a nursery is. My daughter absolutely loves attending and her development is amazing! The staff in the Grasshoppers class have all been so friendly and I love hearing all about what she gets up to every day!

Had a great experience so far, she is having a lot of fun, learning new things every day, a lot of activities on hand for example singing and drawing. The nursery is making sure everyone is safe and the staff are excellent.

After 7 years and 2 children, it's time to say goodbye to our second home and Rainbow Corner nursery family. You have given both my children their wings to fly into this crazy world with confidence, good manners and love in their hearts. It has been a pleasure and honour to know you all. We will never ever forget you especially the wonderful staff. I will always speak highly of the nursery and forever be grateful for taking care of the most precious people in my life, my children. We love you all. We will be popping around soon to see you all and say our proper goodbyes. Stay safe.

Friendly staff who take extra care every day with my son, he loves coming to nursery and when we do things on non-nursery days he is always keen to tell his key workers about what he’s been up to! He has lots of friends and the nursery staff know him well. They always go above and beyond to make sure his needs and interests are met and are always there to give him a cuddle if he’s upset! I can’t wait to send my daughter to nursery next month for the first time because I know she will love it as much as he does.

My daughter's speech is superb and I believe that’s through the interaction she receives from the nursery.

I found the staff at Rainbow corner very welcoming and friendly. My daughter had a bit of separation anxiety at first but the Grasshopper staff settled her into the group patiently and was able to distract her positively. My daughter is thriving since she started nursery and looks forward to going.

My four-year-old daughter has been attending Rainbow Corner since she was nine-months-old. Throughout her time there, and transition through each group, she has made friends. The nursery provides a variety of learning experiences, fun and a nurturing environment for children. I would not choose any other nursery! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and I know the children's needs/qualities, likes and dislikes very well. Overall, a lovely, nurturing and happy environment for children!

My son changed nursery in June 2020, following the first lockdown. All the staff have been supportive, and he has continued to thrive and develop well. I am very happy with him being there.

The staff have been so welcoming, accommodating and kind since our little boy started at Rainbow Corner. He comes out smiling after every session, we love seeing updates from his day, his development has come on so quickly since starting just 4 months ago and his eating too.

P.s My daughter's key worker and the manager of her room were lovely and this is no reflection on them whatsoever because of YOU was the reason we didn’t leave any earlier.

Friendly staff, well organised, good communication with parents, a wide range of learning opportunities/activists/resources, safe and secure. Overall we are really happy with our daughter attending and so is she.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough. The staff are lovely and have helped make my extremely shy daughter feel confident and happy. Great facilities, especially the wonderful outside area. My daughter will be sad to leave this year.
