Mother Goose Day Nursery has a warm and inviting atmosphere, recreating a home from home environment where the children in their care will feel secure and happy. They are open from Monday-Friday throughout the year except for public holidays and one week during Christmas.

The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year catering for ages 2 years to 5 years where there is an option for full days (8:00am-6:00pm) or half days (8:00am-1:00pm/1:00pm-6:00pm).

The Nursery consists of one main playroom which includes the extension of a conservatory giving more space for the children to explore. The nursery also has plentiful outdoor space so that learning, and development can be taken outside. The rooms have maximum numbers of children and the right staff to child ratio according to the guidelines set out by OFSTED.

The main rooms hold a maximum of 33 children aged 2 years -5 years. The ratio for this age is 1:4 for 2 years and 1:8 for 3 years plus. The children in their setting are starting to become more independent and are encouraged to develop their self helps skills more widely.

The children help to prepare their own snacks and take turns in serving snacks out to each other as a way to build on their self-confidence. Weekly diaries on ey-man are used as a way of communicating with parents and carers.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since September 2020 and as a family, we are so delighted with the nursery. She has made so many friends and looks forward to going every day. The staff are friendly and approachable and clearly care about the children in their care. They are always open to
talking to you and are very open about the child’s care and how they are developing. It will be a shame to have to say goodbye when she starts school this year but I know, thanks to Mother Goose, that she is very ready to move on. Would definitely recommend the nursery to prospective parents!

I am so happy how they helped my son to settle in, all ladies are so lovely and act like an extended family. I couldn't be happier having my son there, they help him with all that I ask, if reasonable.

My son has been attending Mother Goose for a while now and he absolutely loves it. I’ve seen so much improvement in his speech and his confidence. The staff are very caring and my son loves all of them. I’ve had support and encouragement and advice from staff members which has been so helpful. Wonderful

My daughter has been attending the nursery for a few years now and she absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing in all aspects. They’ve been beyond helpful in assisting me with any worries I’ve had or things I’ve struggled with.
My daughter is clearly so happy at nursery and has come on in leaps
and bounds; it’s a delight to see.

I only have amazing things to say about Mother Goose, all the staff are lovely and my daughter has made such brilliant connections with all of them.
As a smaller nursery they give so much attention to detail and one-to-one time with the kids.
My 3 year old daughter has come along leaps and bounds
in her speech, sharing, maths, English and just general knowledge of the world.
Absolutely lovely nursery and I’ll definitely be sorry when littlun has to leave for school!

Staff are all super friendly and welcoming to both children and their families. My son started Mother Goose Day Nursery just after his 3rd birthday. I was extremely nervous as we had spent lockdown together so he had not been without me by his side for a while and he could be very shy. I had a video call with the deputy to see the nervousness and discuss any questions about the
nursery. On his first day he walked in without a care in the world and he loved every moment of nursery ever since. He thoroughly enjoys going and knows what days he attends, so on each day he attends he’s eager to get out the door and go to nursery. He talks lots about his friends and the staff who look after him. He is much more confident since starting nursery and becoming more and more independent which is brilliant in helping him with his transition to school next year. Any concerns I’ve had they have listened to and supported where they can. The staff and manager are so welcoming and it’s nice to see a manager that is so involved with the children in their care. I recommend Mother Goose massively.

My daughter started at Mother Goose in January 2020 when she was 2 and she has loved it from day one! The staff are so nurturing and caring and look after her so well, she has come on so much since she started with regards to her learning, social skills and her eating! She was so fussy before she started
and now she will eat most things. I am a key worker so my daughter continued to go to nursery every day during lockdown, I can’t tell you how supportive the nursery staff were, they became like family and were a godsend. She was so happy going which made me feel happy and confident about her going there whilst I had to work. And thankfully the place is all Covid secure so there haven’t been any outbreaks so far. I can’t recommend this nursery enough, it’s so lovely. My older daughter went there too and she loved it as well.

I highly recommend Mother Goose Nursery. During the two years that my daughter has attended, I have watched her gain so much confidence and knowledge. As a family, we have felt supported and any worries have been dealt with care and confidentiality. The staff work hard to make this nursery the best

My daughter has been attending this nursery since January 2020. My eldest son also attended this nursery from September 2018 to July 2019. We have never had any issues or concerns and have always been very impressed with how friendly and supportive the staff are. The staff have done an incredible job
supporting both our children in their learning and their social and emotional development. My son struggled when he started nursery but the staff were brilliant at supporting him and were always more than happy to answer all my questions. Both my children were always excited to attend and always enjoyed themselves. The nursery manager also really cares about the children and still asks about my eldest son and is happy to offer advice which I think shows she really cares as he left the nursery over a year ago and she continues to support him too.
I would honestly recommend this nursery to anyone who wants a genuinely caring and lovely environment for their children to learn in.

Am overall satisfied with the school. The staff are wonderful and caring, they treat everyone the same, no matter their race. I love the daily observation and all we need to know as parents, they make sure they give us feedback.

My daughter started here in Feb 2020, she was very shy and not wanting to engage with most of the staff and children but since attending she has really gone out of her shell. There’s no tears or tantrums when I’m dropping her off and she’s more than happy to get in and start her day. I can not praise
the staff enough for what they have done to help me and my child to achieve what we have in a limited amount of time.

My daughter has just joined the Mother Goose Day Nursery and I can't fault it.
Staff are great with keeping parents up to date on how their child does during the day.
Much better than her previous nursery and I highly recommend it to any mum or dad out there.

Our son started attending Mother Goose in August 2018 when he was three years and three months old. At that point, my husband and I were very concerned about his slow speech development which was made worse by his sleep apnoea. Prior to Mother Goose, he had already been to three other nurseries (all
more expensive and another with excellent ranking) however it was only when he joined Mother Goose that we began to see real progress. He took a liking to all the teachers, looked forward to going to school and we also noticed a huge improvement in his learning pace and enthusiasm to try new games and toys at home. All teachers are professional and all display understanding of my sons personal learning needs. The app is also a great way for us to see how he is doing and how we can help him at home.

My daughter was struggling with speech and confidence when she joined Mother Goose. In the past few months, she’s really flourished and I feel she now has a good bond with each member of staff at the setting.


The progress reports and variation of activities really never stop surprising me, they take

the children out as often as they can in small groups.

I'm so glad I have chosen this nursery for my son. The nursery is clean, plenty of toys and themed activities are provided daily. It provides effective learning. We find EyLog very helpful as we get daily feedback on our son's achievements. He eats fresh and healthy meals and to our surprise, he eats
it all, even the dishes he would be reluctant to try at home. The staff and manager are very good at nurturing and teaching the children. They always find time for you.
Would highly recommend this nursery!

The staff have helped my daughter settle in really well, they are friendly and always welcome us with a big smile and are very cheery. Charlie holds a level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and has 8 years of experience in childcare covering all age groups and in a variety of different childcare environments. Charlie is complemented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish. The majority of the staff have or are working towards their level 3 childcare qualification.
