Mother Goose Day Nursery has a warm and inviting atmosphere, recreating a home from home environment where the children in their care will feel secure and happy. They are open from Monday-Friday throughout the year except for public holidays and one week during Christmas.

The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year catering for ages 2 years to 5 years where there is an option for full days (8:00am-6:00pm) or half days (8:00am-1:00pm/1:00pm-6:00pm).

The Nursery consists of one main playroom which includes the extension of a conservatory giving more space for the children to explore. The nursery also has plentiful outdoor space so that learning, and development can be taken outside. The rooms have maximum numbers of children and the right staff to child ratio according to the guidelines set out by OFSTED.

The main rooms hold a maximum of 33 children aged 2 years -5 years. The ratio for this age is 1:4 for 2 years and 1:8 for 3 years plus. The children in their setting are starting to become more independent and are encouraged to develop their self helps skills more widely.

The children help to prepare their own snacks and take turns in serving snacks out to each other as a way to build on their self-confidence. Weekly diaries on ey-man are used as a way of communicating with parents and carers.

If you are looking for a warm and professional environment for your child, Mother Goose Nursery it's the perfect place for your child.
I am so pleased and happy with the teachers and management staff, they have made us so welcome and they are so professional and well-trained for my daughter's needs
or any needs that your child has. She is so happy here and always is talking about activities that she is having during the day. Best place to have your child!

My son has been attending Mother Goose Day Nursery since January of this year and we have only good things to say about the nursery. My daughter also attended from January 2022 - August 2023 and the staff have all felt like family from the start. I feel happy to leave my children in the care of the
Mother Goose staff. The communication is great, from regular written and photo updates on the app as well as verbal communication after each session and whenever else is required. My son has required some speech and language interventions and the nursery has been such a help in facilitating that and supporting both him and us along the way. I would definitely recommend Mother Goose as a nursery setting.

I have had a great experience with Mother Goose Day Nursery so far. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It seems like they are always engaged with the kids in so many different activities. They are very responsible as well as emotionally connected to the children of their organisation.

Mother Goose has literally saved my son! I don't know where would be without them! They are so welcoming, caring, and compassionate. My son has big SEN needs, and they have taken him on and doing all that they can for him. Not only him but the family, too. We will forever be thankful to them. I would
never, ever recommend anywhere else. I am hoping they will take our youngest when his time comes to attend nursery! He is learning and engaging far more than I thought possible. He is visibly happy when there.

I really want my child to go to an other place where his older brother went but because of no places he ended up with Mother Goose Day Nursery. I like this nursery, good communication with parent by either email, app or face to face. My boy is happy to come here, he is learning, exploring more than

A brilliant little nursery tucked away from the road, which has a (large) family feel to it. Children of all ages are together, so bonding across age and ability is great for those that do not have such an environment at home themselves.
Our child has enjoyed even the short time spent with the nursery,
and the management was fantastic when it came to finding suitable times and dates when planning ahead.
We will surely miss the time that our kid was able to spend with Mother Goose and can wholeheartedly recommend them1

Such a great nursery with wonderful staff. Definitely made the right choice by choosing this place! the manager is a loving and understanding person. Great place. Clean and with good food I think because my son eating there more than at home. My son is leaving that nursery this year. He was there since 18 months. He learned a lot.

I cannot praise the wonderful staff at Mother Goose enough!
After moving my son from another preschool I am amazed at how quickly he has settled in.
From the moment I spoke to the manager on the phone after my initial enquiry, I felt warmth and welcomed with so much care, this was then continued
in our visit and extended by every staff member.
After just four weeks, my son's speech has improved, as has his behaviour and manners. He now loves going to preschool and talks fondly about it.
The communication is great, from message notifications on the app which also includes details of a ‘Register’ and what he has eaten at school and they take the time to chat with you at collection with how their session has been and what they have been like.
I wish I had found them sooner!

The entire team of Mother Goose are amazing, the organisation is run perfectly, My son absolutely loves going and gets really upset when he doesnt get to go. The manager and all the staff from Mother Goose were so nice and I love the nursery setting, and my son I believe loves it. The little negative is that my child needed extra support which the nursery could not support and also in terms of feeding, my child was is a picky eater and the nursery does not
allow any food or snack from home, so my son was most of the time upset and we were called to come and get him, which interferes with my work sometimes. Some parents will appreciate maybe in the future should this change be done. That being said, all staff are lovely.

I can't thank Mother Goose enough. I and my child have been through some struggles but have had full support and advice from the staff from day one, who have guided and nurtured not only my son but myself as well helping to rebuild my confidence in myself as a mum.
My son started six months ago with
minimum words and a massive attachment issue, they worked amazingly with us and adapted to suit my child's needs, and now he is waving me goodbye at the gates happy to be going, and his speech is coming on leaps and bounds.
I can't recommend this nursery enough, very honest, open and helpful caring staff, always happy to give advice in a way that is actually helpful rather than condescending. Amazing support and lovely atmosphere, can't sing their praises enough

Charlie holds a level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and has 8 years of experience in childcare covering all age groups and in a variety of different childcare environments. Charlie is complemented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish.
