Mother Goose Day Nursery has a warm and inviting atmosphere, recreating a home from home environment where the children in their care will feel secure and happy. They are open from Monday-Friday throughout the year except for public holidays and one week during Christmas.

The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year catering for ages 2 years to 5 years where there is an option for full days (8:00am-6:00pm) or half days (8:00am-1:00pm/1:00pm-6:00pm).

The Nursery consists of one main playroom which includes the extension of a conservatory giving more space for the children to explore. The nursery also has plentiful outdoor space so that learning, and development can be taken outside. The rooms have maximum numbers of children and the right staff to child ratio according to the guidelines set out by OFSTED.

The main rooms hold a maximum of 33 children aged 2 years -5 years. The ratio for this age is 1:4 for 2 years and 1:8 for 3 years plus. The children in their setting are starting to become more independent and are encouraged to develop their self helps skills more widely.

The children help to prepare their own snacks and take turns in serving snacks out to each other as a way to build on their self-confidence. Weekly diaries on ey-man are used as a way of communicating with parents and carers.

Mother Goose Day Nursery was the best environment for my son with autism , love and kindness we had received from them had made me feel like a family . Giving the experience I had with my son it was not hard to decide where my daughter will go.

Mother goose nursery has been a home from home for my daughter. She has loved attending and always comes home full of lovely stories about her day. The staff are fantastic. Since being at Mother goose nursery my daughter has become more confident and with the staff taking the time to help my daughter
with her speech and pronunciation, this has also come on too.
My daughter is definitely going to miss everyone at Mother goose nursery, but it has given her the best start before starting school in September.
I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The Management & team at Mother Goose made not only my daughter feel so comfortable to start nursery in January but me too, as it can be a scary thing sending your children off to nursery but the team are so welcoming, so supportive & made me feel so at ease. My daughter has developed & learnt so much
so far and enjoys going into nursery. The environment is safe, fun & teaches the children new knowledge, manners, how to love themselves & others and to always be kind. So grateful for mother goose and would recommend to anyone with little ones looking for a nursery

I have to say that Mother Goose Day Nursery has been nothing but amazing with my daughter who has had to move twice in the past year being from a military family. She settled in very well and thats is credit to the staff who are very professional and efficient with their care and my daughter loves
going into nursery where I find not only do the staff and manager give you a welcoming and warm vibe but my daughter has progressively improved with speech and learning. I love the fact that the nursery has a relaxed approach and flexibility of activities that how children are feeling on the day but still remains structured .
Definitely 5 stars.

The manager and the team at Mother Goose are great. They make you feel comfortable and at ease as we know as parents it's never easy sending your children to childcare but the team here just make it an easy transition.
Mother Goose has helped my son loads with his social skills and helping him get

My son absolutely loves this nursery, he was quite shy and doesn't like leaving me but they handle it so well and is beyond happy there. They have helped so much with his speech and he is always talking about how much he loves everyone there.

It's a good nursery. My child loves it so much. She loves to be there. The space and conditions are very good. The staff are very nice, very kind. My child loves the food they serve here. She likes to say 'happy food'. So I recommend this nursery with 5 stars.

Highly recommend Mother Goose Daycare, the staff are friendly and helpful. Nursery is a very open space and bright that gives positive vibes to children. Very flexible in terms of holiday cover and extra daycare. Staff are always there to support and help.

My eldest daughter was at Mother Goose from about 2.5 years old until she left for school. We had no hesitation in sending our 2-year-old to the nursery. Both girls had and are having a fantastic time. The staff are fantastic with the girls. My youngest daughter enjoys all the activities they do and
will always tell us what she did. She loves her lunches and the staff are always happy to help. I only have positive things to say about our experience with both our daughters.

Both my sons attend Mother Goose Nursery, which they really enjoy! All the teachers have built individual relationships with both boys and we genuinely see that they care for them. Me and my wife can speak openly with the nursery about concerns and we're fully supported, often with staff going above

A well-organised team, very easy to talk to about any concerns. My child has come out of her shell since attending the nursery and comes home singing new songs they have learned. They use a very handy easy-to-use app to follow the development of your child and some. Lovely pictures of their activities.
Also unlike some other nurseries we have visited the garden is behind the nursery so a nice closed-off area out of the public eye.

If we were to do it all over again, I can't think of a better place than Mother Goose. They truly live up to their name, with every staff member embodying the same nurturing spirit. They alleviate the typical parental fears of leaving kids with strangers, offering a genuine sense of an extended family.

What makes this nursery great is the staff, from the cook to the manager, they are all brilliant! Thank you for taking so much care of my son, he loves every minute spent at Mother Goose.

Very well-run nursery, with excellent communication with parents regarding child's progress.
My child has been taught many things at the nursery and it always feels like they are doing something productive with the children.
The nursery is not in the best condition and could do with some updating
but the quality of the staff and their honest effort to make the nursery the best it can be is a credit to them.
Would definitely recommend it to others.

Charlie holds a level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and has 8 years of experience in childcare covering all age groups and in a variety of different childcare environments. Charlie is complemented by a strong, dedicated team, which helps to create a warm and homely environment where children really do flourish.
