Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Basingstoke

A wonderful nursery that helps kids nurture and grow in preparation for ‘big school’. My first son started Kiddi Caru at 9 months old and stayed there right up to preschool. My second son (2yrs old) now attends and loves it just as much. Lovely facilities and lovely staff. A***

We now have our second child at the nursery, who (like her brother) loves it. Enthusiastic staff and a heap of activities mean that it is a very rare day when my daughter doesn't want to go. Would recommend.

I must also say I feel confident leaving him with a very good team each day as all staff have been very friendly.

I have been using this nursery since the boys were six months old and it has been brilliant. Their faces light up when they see their keyworkers, which as a parent, is so wonderful to see. The end of session reports are useful and I love hearing about what the boys have been up to.

I've got two boys and between them, they have been attending Kidd Caru every day for 3 years. During this time, my boys have been super happy - and I love collecting them when they have smiles on their faces. The girls in Sweetpea who look after them are brilliant, the activities they organise for the kids are so much fun and my youngest loves going out for walks in the buggy. Both of my boys have allergies to milk, and the nursery has been amazing in helping us deal with this. The girls in the kitchen put in so much effort to make sure they have similar food to the other kids - even making them dairy free cakes. My wife and I go to work knowing our boys are super happy - we can't ask for any more.

My son started in the baby room in November 2018. He settled in really quickly which put my mind at ease. The keyworkers are really lovely and I never have to worry about leaving my son there as I know he will have a great day. He enjoys all the activities on offer in his room and is always happy when I pick him up and that's down to the ladies providing a great atmosphere in the room.

The staff at this nursery are wonderful! Right from the beginning, they have made us feel very welcome and my daughter loves spending time there. The wide range of activities they do has helped my daughter become more outgoing and less nervous of new situations. She gets very excited when we pull up outside the nursery as she knows that she is going to have a great day. I cannot thank the team enough for everything they do for us!

I LOVE this place! I drop my boys off in the morning and go to work without worrying about them. I believe what makes a great nursery is the people who work there and these guys have it nailed. Thank you so much and please keep up the great work.

A very good, clean nursery with friendly staff which is a great place for our daughter to learn and develop.

We have been part of the nursery for 5 and a half years and until about a year ago would of had no worries recommending the nursery. The past 12 months the nursery seems very disorganised and I’ve not felt happy about the service received. I’ve made a couple of complaints but can’t say it has really improved which is disappointing after over 4 really good years there.

The food variety and quantity of meals/snacks throughout the day is great, the amenities are good like the sensory room, garden.

Very pleased with the nursery and development of my son. The staff, activities and outside space is excellent.

Both our twins have learnt social and interactive skills that they would not have learned at home. They have learnt to listen to teachers, and both boys feel comfortable and trust the staff. They always have a fun day at pre-school and come home with stories to tell. They are making friends and are challenged to grow through play. The management team have also helped us solve developmental hurdles along the way. Highly recommend.

My son has been attending the setting since he was 8 months old (now 20 months). The staff are very caring and cater to my son's personal needs on a daily basis. The garden area is spacious and the rooms are bright and filled with lovely toys.

My son has also become really good at baby sign and this is all down to the staff. He regularly goes on outings to the local area, which I love hearing about, as my son loves being outdoors.

The staff always have a smile on their face and take the time to listen to my wishes and views.

My son is also fed really well, with a choice of breakfast cereals in the morning and either toast, bagel or crumpets too. He has a hot meal at lunchtime and offered a snack and then a tea (mostly a hot meal but sometimes cold meal eg. a tuna wrap). I’m happy he has such a wide choice of food.

I look forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the rest of his nursery journey, knowing that he has a fantastic staff team to look up to.

The staff are all very friendly and genuinely care about each and every child. Could not be more happy with the experience we have had so far.

My daughter is so ready for school thanks to the great work done by the staff at Kiddi Caru. Her independence and readiness to learn has been nurtured through every age room she has been in and I have no qualms about sending my next child to the same setting. It is a really great place with lots of exciting and inspiring activities; definitely, a place which focuses on the development of the whole child.

My daughter enjoys her time at nursery, she is always very confortable with her carers and they do lots of fun activities in a good mix of time inside and out in the garden. They seem to be always investing in materials for them to play with and the place is clean. They get a big variety of healthy food.

Always friendly and helpful staff. My daughter is really happy there and comes back with new knowledge and a smile on her face.
