Kiddi Caru Basingstoke, a GrandirUK Day Nursery

Both of our children settled into Kiddi Caru so quickly and both absolutely love going. The baby room does lots of activities throughout the day and our son has developed greatly since attending, including attempting to talk more and learning to self-feed. The preschool has lots of varied activities and my daughter always comes home to tell us what she has learnt and made. The garden facility for the preschool is very good and they have a gardening club in the spring/summer. All the staff at Kiddi Caru are very friendly, approachable and genuinely care for your child.

Kiddi Caru Basingstoke is simply the best! My son, since day 1, always looks forward to going to daycare, the excitement on his face even while we are still waiting to get inside up until he gets picked up by his key workers is superb! This to me says a lot - I know that they nurture a safe, healthy and happy environment for the children. I must also add how accommodating the staff have been especially during the pandemic, always happy to help with ad-hoc bookings to allow me and my husband be able to work. The staff are all amazing!

Great team, friendly and approachable. Our son has come on leaps and bounds with his development and learning. The outdoor space is great and the children spend quite a bit of time out there exploring. The staff take the children’s interests and develop activities to entertain those topics.

As a parent of a child with multiple complex allergies (anaphylaxis), I was really anxious about sending my son to nursery. However, I didn’t need to be - Kiddi Caru have been an incredible support for my son and myself in his transition to nursery life. Every staff member we have met is so caring towards the children and nothing has been too much to ask. I feel so confident my son is well looked after whilst he is away from me and he absolutely loves it! Highly recommend!

The school environment is lovely and the setting. I couldn't recommend any other school for a child.

3) The food is made on-site by the chef who has been there throughout. Our children love her food and never come home hungry. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

After Christmas, we found ourselves in a long isolation due to Covid-19 (to no fault of the nursery) and the staff went above and beyond by hand-delivering an arts and craft pack to help entertain my son. I could not recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has learnt so much since attending here. The classes are very social and learning is integrated well! Have had some administration issues which could have been avoided, like named contacts having issues on pick up even after my permission was submitted in writing! I’d rather safe than sorry, which is good they were, but was annoying. I’d like to see more digitalisation. Like their development diaries on an online portal for instance. Overall, the care is good and my daughter enjoys it.

I also like the things they teach, like French and yoga as it is different from just shapes and colours. I have seen a huge change in my twins since they have started. They hold full conversations with me and it feels that they get more like little adults each day, which is a good and bad thing.

In my opinion, it is the wonderful staff at Kiddi Caru that makes it such an excellent nursery. From when you walk into the building on a Monday morning to a cheery "Good morning, how was your weekend?" from the ladies on the front desks to collecting him at the end of a long week (for the Kiddi Caru team!) on a Friday afternoon to be told about the days events with the same, genuine enthusiasm you received on the Monday afternoon.

My son has been attending Kiddi Caru Nursery full time for three years now, and has always been very happy and well looked after.

My son is always so happy to spend time here. The staff are engaging and so friendly. Always quick to tell me about his day/development/behaviour and always do a variety of activities.

My son has attended this nursery since he was 6-months-old, and over the past six months the care he has received has been exceptional. The staff have been amazing and he gets so excited to be going to nursery and you can really see that he enjoys it there.

If anyone asks me for a nursery recommendation I say Kiddi Caru with no hesitation.

Amazing staff. Lots of support through changes both at home and within normal development ie toilet training. I couldn't ask any more from them.

My Son started at Kiddi Caru back in August 2018 - he struggled to settle at first but the girls helped him to feel safe and secure and he then settled within good time. The girls care so much for the children in their care and it really shows on a daily basis - they are so welcoming and friendly towards myself, my family and my son and he enjoys attending nursery every day! He doesn't stop speaking about his key worker and buddy (he's 2) so this really shows the positive impact they have had on him. Any problems I have had the girls have been so quick to reassure me and show me what they have done to rectify the problem within good time - which I can only appreciate. They provide a good variety of menu choice and my son eats really well at nursery - they give great feedback so I know exactly what he's done during the day with them and it always sounds super fun!

This nursery is the 'elite' of nurseries within Basingstoke and this my second child who has attended. The premises are so clean and well kept. The staff are so attentive to the children and l can see that they genuinely care and form bonds with children on a one to one basis. My daughter 'signed' to me earlier in the week and family dinner times have since improved - as the meal time environment at nursery teaches them to enjoy food and be social and independent. The outside play area is very impressive and safe.
