Good Manors Day Nursery Manor Lodge

This practice feels deeply unfair and places families under unnecessary pressure, undermining the otherwise positive experience provided by the dedicated staff.

Two of my children go to Good Manors; one is about to start school and the nursery have been instrumental in getting her ready for this next challenge! All the workers in pre-school have encouraged her independence while still providing lots of support. She left the nursery a couple of weeks ago and she still talks about the individual nursery workers every day. My younger child is 3 and has been at the nursery since she was in the baby room. She has absolutely flourished there and is still absolutely loving every single day there.

Our daughter has absolutely loved her time at Good Manors. She has learnt so much, made wonderful memories, and built beautiful friendships. The staff are genuinely caring, attentive, and fun, and always bring out the best in the children. We've really valued the regular updates via the app, email, and at pick-up, sharing everything she has been up to, as well as the lovely outings to the soft play, library, and pantomime - such thoughtful experiences that give the children a real sense of community. The food has also been fantastic, and our daughter always ate so well there! We are so grateful for everything Good Manors has done for her, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Both of our children have flourished here, starting at one year old and leaving into their early school years. They have learnt so much in what feels like a very short time. The staff are always letting us know progress, or things to keep an eye on. The best thing for them is they have learnt friendship, and teamwork with their peers. As previously said the staff do know the children very well.

My 21 month old son has been at Good Manors for 2/3 days a week since May 2024. We are really impressed with the profesional and friendly staff who really get to know our son and support him. The staff keep us fully up to date with what he is doing which really reassures us. Our son loves going and comes home happy every day. We are bringing our son up bilingual (English/Spanish). The nursery staff are learning songs and key phrases in Spanish that my son learns at home, I never would have thought the staff would be able to add this to his day and support his development. My son also has a visual impairment and the nursery staff have been very supportive and responsive for any extra needs he might have. Finally, the homemade food provided is really nutritious and my son tires lots of new things!

Our son absolutely loves Manor Lodge! The staff are so friendly and attentive and are truelly genuinely invested in each child's development. We've been so impressed by his progress since he's been with them. He's never had a bad day and always comes home happy and full of story's from the day.

We love that the nursery encourages families to get involved at various events held on site. The food is varied and interesting which helps us at home when introducing new foods. I also enjoy that the team are really proactive at celebrating different cultures and regularly have days dedicated to festivals/celebrations/cultures.

If I was going to split hairs I'd say that it'd be good for the kids to get outside a little more and to have structured activities for their outdoor time eg. Building/gardening etc However I appreciate that the layout of the building makes the practicalities of that tricky.

My son started nursery at Manor Lodge in January 2025 and I couldn't be happier with his first 2 months. He has the best time at nursery and is always so happy being dropped off to the staff in the morning. Every single member of staff has been so friendly and welcoming, would recommend to all new parents.

100% send your children here, you won't regret it.

Manor Lodge is a wonderful nursery with amazing staff who the children are really fond of. It is a lovely setting and they have a brilliant garden space which is well-used throughout the year. Activities are varied and they even go on outings to feed the ducks, visit the local library etc. Both children have been really happy here and we couldn't have asked for more in a nursery. We are so grateful to the staff for working hard to provide a fun, safe and nurturing environment for the children in their care. We have been part of the nursery for around 7 years as both our children attended from being babies. Our youngest is now off to school and we will all miss Manor Lodge!

My children have had a great start at Manor Lodge, the staff have been consistent, warm and supportive. The boys have bonded well with the staff, they are really friendly and polite, and we have appreciated their great service since 2018. The boys will really miss the ladies there and we highly recommend it!

My child loves attending this setting and has made lots of friends.

My daughter has always been very shy but with the help of the wonderful teachers at Good Manors she is slowly coming out of her shell. She is always looking forward to go to Preschool! Highly recommend!

All the members of staff are so friendly and really care about all the children that are in their care. My son is learning so much and always has such a fun day. He always comes home happy. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nursery!

The whole nursery team are absolutely amazing. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. My daughter absolutely loves nursery and mentions two members of staff a lot! So a big shout out to them. My daughter is developing so well and amazes me every day, and I know a big part of that is the support she is getting from the nursery team.

Friendly staff. Children always have lots to do and play with. Lots of outside time when possible/weather permitting. My daughter is very happy here. She will be sad to leave when she goes to school in September.

Our son has been at the nursery for over a year and absolutely loves going 3 days a week! The staff are so patient and kind and he seems to really enjoy the food he eats and activities he gets involved in (from the updates we receive). The team has really supported his development and us as a family- we are so grateful!

My daughter has been attending Good Manors since she was 11 months old. I have always felt she was safe and just as importantly happy. At 4 years old she now comes out every day still smiling and telling me all the activities she has done. The staff are always on hand to talk and share my child’s progress. I especially love how much time the children spend outside, no matter the weather they get fresh air and utilise the beautiful outside space they have. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Good Manors has been great for our child. She's always happy to go and when picking her up I see the smiles on the faces of the carers and other children are genuine. The updates on the app are great, the food is great and the attention she gets is fantastic. Her speech and vocabulary have come a long way since starting, we're very grateful for everything Good Manors is doing.

The kindness and compassion shown to my child whilst at nursery is wonderful. The children all seem happy and my child comes home babbling about his day. He is a confident boy and loves his nursery days.
