Good Manors Day Nursery Manor Lodge

We have been really pleased with Good Manors. A wonderful, caring place for our children to learn, have fun and flourish. The whole team are an absolute credit, and the way everyone has adapted to Covid has been brilliant.

Our children have been attending Good Manors at Manor Lodge since they were 9 months old. The staff are amazing and feel like part of our family. The children are excited to go to nursery each day and love all of the activities and experiences that they get to enjoy during their sessions. The online diary helps us to keep track of progress and we love hearing about the 'Golden Moments' throughout the week. We would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has settled into nursery really well. We believe that is down to the excellent staff. We are really happy with the entire service. One minor point, if we could possibly expedite the morning drop off, sometimes if only one person can be time-consuming but appreciate it is difficult.

My daughter absolutely loves attending nursery at Manor Lodge. Since joining when she was 2 years old she has progressed massively. She has made plenty of friends, adores her teachers and it's made her much more confident.

My daughter really enjoys going to Good Manors and is always well fed and well looked after. I love the daily diary to get lovely updates of her day.

They have outstanding members of staff that cater to each individual's needs, and recognised and encouraged our daughter's development to enable her to move up to preschool nearly three months early.

I will recommend this child care setting to any parent looking for a nursery/preschool environment for their child to attend, with a great nurturing and learning structure from 3 months to 5 years.

Both my daughters attend Manor lodge, and I have seen them thrive, both physically and academically. All the staff are extremely friendly, professional, approachable, caring and nothing is ever too much. My children both happily go into the setting, and some days don't want to come home.

My son has been at Good Manors - Manor Lodge since he was 6 months old, he is now in preschool and enjoys his time there. The preschool lead is am absolute star who my son loves. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Can't recommend this nursery enough. Both my children have been to Good Manors and both love it. All staff are caring, and dedicated to encouraging the children's development.

Our daughter started attending Good Manors at 11 months. She settled in extremely quickly and we noticed her development coming on in leaps and bounds. She was immediately more confident, independent and curious. The care and attention given to each child is unrivalled and our little girl loves going to nursery to play and learn and what a comfort that is to us. The management have gone out of their way to help us through a recent tragedy and I am forever grateful to all the staff.

My daughter has been attending Good Manors since she was 9 months old. She is now in her last few months here as she will be going to school and we both will miss it. My daughter has had a great experience within all sectors of the playgroup and I feel at ease when leaving her here to go to work. They have a wonderful garden and always try and encourage the children to explore and play. The staff are very caring attentive with all children and I feel my daughter has blossomed as a result of attending this nursery.

Excellent care. Staff are approachable and very professional. Recent refurbishment of the garden was great.

The staff communicate well, provide regular updates on my daughter's learning/progress, the facilities are excellent with new toys recently provided and the garden refurbished! My youngest daughter is going to be starting at Manor Lodge shortly in the baby room. I would highly recommend Manor Lodge!

Good Manors Nurseries are amazing, my child has been attending for the last three years and has developed and learnt so much. The staff are great and look after all the children so well. Our child loves going to to nursery to see his friends and having so much fun, sometimes he doesn't want to come home. I definitely recommend Good Manors to all parents, it certainly is an outstanding nursery.

My 17-month-old son has loved Manor Lodge since day 1 (9 months). We have seen him develop so much and it's great to see him interacting with the other children and the staff. He has learnt (and continues to learn) basic signs which are useful at home.

The babies are always doing fun activities - messy or wet, they always seem to have fun. The tapestry update photos and comments are lovely. We are kept up to date of any injuries or signs of being unwell and really feel that staff/management genuinely get to know and care about the children.

We have seen regular investments in furniture, decorations and the gardens. The location is great for us, the town centre is handy and I love the fact that the garden is completely enclosed and away from any noisy polluted roads.

The food variety is good and seems enjoyable as he seems to eat nearly everything he is given. We were also impressed they managed to get him to nap early on as he wouldn't sleep anywhere but in his cot at home!

So glad we chose Good Manors at Manor Lodge!

My daughter has been attending Good Manors Manor Lodge since October 2017. On her arrival, she was shy and timid and wouldn’t be without me. Now she is sociable with her friends is Nursery and her vocabulary is amazingly amazing. She has learnt so much and will continue to learn more from the friendly and wonderful staff. My daughter also has certain health problems which the whole staffing team are aware of and Care plans are put in place. This is so reassuring knowing when I drop her off in the morning she is well looked after. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

After some serious problems with the previous nursery, the staff at Good Manors at Manor Lodge have been amazing. I love the fact pre school and Tweenies are split giving more support to the younger toddlers. Great staff members who are happy and helpful. My daughter is very happy and settled there and I have peace of mind leaving her there. The only minor thing is that sometimes there is less communication than I’d like e.g. when a new staff member starts it would be nice to be told/introduced or an email sent out to parents to keep everyone informed.

When my daughter starts school in a couple of years I will be sad that she will be leaving.

We started our daughter at Good Manors at Manor Lodge from about 9 months old for 1.5 days a week. We upped this to 2.5 and then 3 days as we could see the benefits her time there was having from her development. She has now just gone up to the Tweenies group and is loving it even more.
