I was so nervous to send my little boy to nursery for the first time this summer, but he absolutely loves it! He has come on leaps and bounds since starting, and you can really tell how much the staff care about the kids. We have been so impressed with how Queens has handled the recent covid challenges, and are so pleased we made the decision to send him here.
My daughter currently attends Queens Baby Nursery and she absolutely loves it. She has learnt lots of new things and is always happy to be dropped off there and is happy when I collect her. My son also attended when he was younger and he had a wonderful time there too. The staff are amazing and caring, and really take the time to get to know your child.
The girls at Baby Nursery are kind, caring and are always there to support you and your child. I would recommend Queens Baby Nursery in a heartbeat!
My daughter attends the nursery and we absolutely love it. Her key worker is a true asset to the nursery and our daughter loves her to bits. Any concerns we have had have been addressed swiftly and with the highest levels of professionalism and care. Our daughter has developed so quickly with them and they clearly know what they are doing. She loves going to nursery and we have not ever regretted our choice. They stand out from the crowd compared to other local nurseries.
We honestly feel she is learning so much every day and the nursery have an outstanding method and “curriculum.” The activities and themes are varied and always challenge her. Every member of staff care and offer support for our child’s development and care. All of which clearly share the same vision for the children in their care.
The nursery can’t do enough for you in terms of catering to specific needs.

Our 10-month old son has just started at Queens Road Baby Nursery and we couldn't be more pleased with the care they are providing. We were concerned about him settling in; eating, sleeping and generally being happy there. They have got to know him so quickly and have worked so hard to make him feel welcomed and comfortable. I feel 100% happy leaving him there every day knowing that he is being so well looked after. The food is nutritious and healthy. The nursery is always clean and tidy, the activities are well structured and age-appropriate and all the staff know exactly what they're doing. It is safe and cosy. I'm so pleased they had a space for our son!
Queen’s Baby Nursery is a fantastic Nursery with loving and friendly staff. My son has been attending the nursery since September 2017 and he is always happy and smiling going into nursery and when collecting.
The nursery offers a quick and smooth settling period when joining and transitioning to the next room. The nursery are very informative and offer many parental involvement opportunities, such as, parent evenings and parent workshops, which gives you a real insight to what your child gets up to during their day at nursery, which is so lovely to see!
Each room provides a wide range of activities that the children are able to access independently. They also offer a great deal of messy play activities! Which is great especially if you haven’t got the time to do it at home!
Overall, based on our experience I would definitely recommend this nursery to all parents!
Queens Baby Nursery provides a really personalised service for us. My baby has been going there for nearly 7 months now and the care she receives is superb. The staff have gone above and beyond their duty to support us as my baby has clubfeet and needs to wear special boots and bar. They have also made an extra effort to learn words that my daughter uses in her home language. She has blossomed in confidence since attending the nursery and I cannot recommend them highly enough!
Our son started going to Queens Baby Nursery in Jan'17. No longer a shy nervous boy around strangers; he has developed many social and interaction skills.
Settling in the initial days was quick, thanks to all the caring staff & his key worker.
Him sometimes not wanting to leave the nursery shows he enjoys his time there. The staff has always encouraged learning new words, actions, and forming friendships.
Queens Baby Nursery understanding routines being flexible, discussing changes, providing daily insights and capturing candid moments on camera (shared securely) are greatly appreciated.
Social events are an excellent opportunity to meet other parents and watch children in the nursery environment. Trips to nearby parks and forest walk makes up for the lack of outdoor space at Queens Baby Nursery.

The nursery staff and environment provide excellent care for my daughter. Staff are genuinely interested in getting to know my child and ensure she is looked after in a home from home environment. My daughter absolutely loves all the messy activities and has built a strong bond with her key workers. Communication is fantastic and I'm very happy with the service we are getting.
My son attends Queens Baby Nursery from 7:30 until 6:30 five days a week... Luckily, he absolutely loves it. The staff are fantastic with him, he's learnt social skills whilst playing with the other children, he eats very well and he is well looked after. The space is great, having been transformed by the manager and her team. We love the nursery, and we are so relieved and thrilled that our son is happy with it too.
I have been extremely happy with Queens as a whole (baby nursery and pre school). My son has just moved on from pre-school and it has helped his transition to reception years no end! He started at baby nursery at around 10 months and my daughter has recently started. I feel at ease knowing she is being well cared for, learning and having fun. I like that I am provided with a daily written and also verbal report. My cousin has also registered her son on the back of my recommendation. All of the staff at Queens Nursery and Pre School are wonderful and caring.
We have been really happy with the nursery so far. My child has settled in really well despite changes in his key worker. The staff seem lovely although the reception space is a little cramped. Communication from the management prior to starting wasn't great and we received no official communication when he changed room, we were just told when picking him up.
The introduction into the nursery was very good and friendly. My son was very happy with his first key person and got settled easily. The food for the children is varied and good knowing that he eats everything. The nursery is very cozy. Interesting for the children as it offers lots of activities and toys. The staff are professional and friendly. I think they should provide some of the hygiene products.
My children's key workers have worked with me to encourage my childrens learning development, whether that is colours, shapes, songs, bottle holding, toilet training etc they ensure that each child learns at their pace and ability.
At the end of each day, I know my children have had a brilliant day by the fact that they are exhausted and by the handover I get. As a busy mum I love to play but I am not pulling out the flour, paint, foam, rice krisppies etc to play with each weekend or day off. Thank goodness nursery encourages the children to enjoy getting messy and learning with it at the same time. There are plenty of books, music, baby yoga, theatre bugs to keep them entertained. The volume of toys is absolutely fine and each child gets to play but also has to learn to share with their friends, which I believe is very important.
Both my children have always loved the food that nursery provides. It is home cooked. With real special attention taken to the needs of each child. Both of them come home full and well fed on healthy food and snacks.
As the nursery sits on our high street they do lack for some space but they make good use of what is available to them. The indoor space is well utilised and made bright, colourful, interesting, changing and textured. The outdoor space again is limited but with a recent refit it is fit for purpose for little people - who don't have anywhere to hide (thank goodness) and enough space to play with each other and have a little run around.
Structure and discipline is something that we don't often discuss in a review but hats off to Queens baby nursery. The daily structure is brilliant and it means we can replicate at home from breakfast till bed time. Loud play with lots of running around, quiet play with books, nap time, social eating with family and friends. I really like the fact that the children are encouraged to help put things away - certainly not made to but encouraged. They are encouraged to keep their nursery nice and to help out.
Like all nurseries, there is the unending job of cleaning.....I have never found an issue with the really important items of cleanliness - kitchen, bathrooms, my childs own hygiene and the overall cleanliness of the toys, floor, furniture etc is all kept at a good standard.
We would unreservedly recommend Queens Baby Nursery.

Meet the Team (4)
Debbie is an exceptional, experienced manager who gained her NNEB in 1984 and in May 2013 achieved an Early Years Professional Status. Debbie continued training and in July 2013 became a BA in Early Childhood Studies graduate. Debbie’s strong passion for working with children and supporting their development needs is exemplary. Debbie joined the team early in 2019. Debbie thoroughly enjoys supporting the children through their milestones, transition to Queens Nursery, reflecting on the practice within the rooms and being an outstanding role model to the team with her superb mentoring skills. Debbie ensures the nursery is running to an outstanding manner every day.
Zoe is an exceptional and energetic deputy manager who joined our team in 2018. Zoe is highly skilled in outdoor play and plans very exciting activities for the children outside and in the local community. Zoe is highly qualified and holds a level 5 in Childcare and Education.
Ana is an exceptional room leader who is also a fully qualified teacher. Ana uses her teaching skills to build on children's vocabulary and physical skills. Ana is very caring and introduces Montessori play to the children.
Kayleigh is the Nursery Co-Ordinator who works between all three nurseries in the company. Kayleigh has a Ba Hons in Early Years Education and ensures all three nurseries are working to an outstanding level every day.
