Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Pre-School

Excellent staff. During our daughter being at Akhter they have taught her a lot of activities inside and outside, so thankful. Great team.

My son loves the school and he loves all the teachers I have had no issues with the teachers. The only downfall is how much the food is and how they want you to pay a month ahead. You also have to pay even if they don’t attend which I think is bad. I personally think you should be able to take a lunch box if your child isn’t eating the food they provide, you still have to pay even though your child doesn’t eat it, but overall it’s a good nursery.

My son enjoys being at the nursery, has lots of fun and is making friends too. We have full trust in the team at Akhter, who work hard to provide a safe, clean environment and help children to flourish.

My son has been attending Akhter Nursery since he was one and is now almost three, he has loved coming and his development has moved massively since being there. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I will be sad when the time comes for him to move to big school!

My son started in January since that was when we were eligible for funding, and I have nothing but good things to say, I love the little updates from the app and my son has become so confident and chatty since being at Akhter, the staff in his room are so polite and reassuring, the best choice I could have made for my son.

From reception to the kitchen, they are all beautiful people who always go above and behind so your child feels safe and welcome enough! Thank you, Akhater, for being so amazing!

The Nursery staff has been good to my daughter. She has improved so much in almost all milestones since she enrolled at the Nursery. The staff is so welcoming and my daughter is always happy to go to nursery. The learning environment is also excellent

Excellent clean well run Nursery. My oldest child of 6 went there, as does my 3 year and as will my 11 month old. The staff are brilliant and most importantly the children seem to thrive there. I visited many nurseries in the Harlow and Epping area and this was by far the best one.

Can’t recommend the staff enough, they keep me up to date with my son's progress and what he’s been doing each day. He’s grown so much since starting, as soon as we get to the door of the building he can’t stop smiling, which is a huge relief for us as parents knowing how much he likes it. He talks so much more and I can really see a positive difference in him since starting.

Could not recommend this place enough! My youngest daughter has attended the setting since 9 months old (now 6 years) and now goes to after-school and holiday club here. The staff are so very polite, informative and absolutely honest which I value. The areas in and out of the building are wonderful for a wild imagination as well as for little ones that are quite shy as the staff interact so lovely with them. When my eldest attended, they catered to her dietary needs without hesitation (vegan) they have gone above and beyond for all three of my girls! The trips out are fantastic and brilliant value. I am at complete ease leaving my girls here as everyone is so lovely and makes their time there enjoyable. Thank you for your time, effort, and patience with my little people!

Absolutely awful. When I picked up my daughter I was told she is a rude and horrible child, that she doesn't eat and tells children what to do, whilst my child was standing there hearing all these negative comments about herself. She was so rude in her tone and looked at my daughter like she was nothing. My child later told me that she got bullied by this staff member because others were allowed to do things and she wasn't and that a staff member's child received preferential treatment over others. I told management whilst my child was crying but doubt anything will happen. She never wants to attend this place again and I doubt I will get my refund even though it is not a child's fault that they were so scared to come back to this place.

I am absolutely thrilled with the progress my child has made. My daughter is bilingual and only spoke her mother tongue when she started and it's only been 2.5 months and her English is superb! I love the energy in the class teachers they are always smiley, friendly, welcoming, child friendly, caring, loving, and supportive just everything you need in a nursery to leave your child with!

My child attended this nursery since she was 2. All the staff I came across are so lovely. My daughter loved coming here and I am so glad I chose this nursery for her.

Elizabeth has had a lovely time at this nursery. She has made lovely friends and has some fantastic memories. Thank you to all her teachers. They will be missed.

My daughters have had a happy experience and good relationships with staff. My youngest daughter will be starting in September.

Excellent nursery. Very accommodating, and my child has enjoyed her journey throughout and has been very excited going to the nursery every morning.

We are both very happy with the nursery. Our daughter is very settled and loves coming and that's because of the staff being very caring and great with her! I get lots of observations which is lovely and they always show me how much fun she has. Thank you !
