Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

Excellent clean well run Nursery. My oldest child of 6 went there, as does my 3 year and as will my 11 month old. The staff are brilliant and most importantly the children seem to thrive there. I visited many nurseries in the Harlow and Epping area and this was by far the best one.

Can’t recommend the staff enough, they keep me up to date with my son's progress and what he’s been doing each day. He’s grown so much since starting, as soon as we get to the door of the building he can’t stop smiling, which is a huge relief for us as parents knowing how much he likes it. He talks
so much more and I can really see a positive difference in him since starting.

Could not recommend this place enough! My youngest daughter has attended the setting since 9 months old (now 6 years) and now goes to after-school and holiday club here. The staff are so very polite, informative and absolutely honest which I value. The areas in and out of the building are wonderful
for a wild imagination as well as for little ones that are quite shy as the staff interact so lovely with them. When my eldest attended, they catered to her dietary needs without hesitation (vegan) they have gone above and beyond for all three of my girls! The trips out are fantastic and brilliant value. I am at complete ease leaving my girls here as everyone is so lovely and makes their time there enjoyable. Thank you for your time, effort, and patience with my little people!

Absolutely awful. When I picked up my daughter I was told she is a rude and horrible child, that she doesn't eat and tells children what to do, whilst my child was standing there hearing all these negative comments about herself. She was so rude in her tone and looked at my daughter like she was nothing.
My child later told me that she got bullied by this staff member because others were allowed to do things and she wasn't and that a staff member's child received preferential treatment over others. I told management whilst my child was crying but doubt anything will happen. She never wants to attend this place again and I doubt I will get my refund even though it is not a child's fault that they were so scared to come back to this place.

You have been with us since July last year and come on trips and had a great time. I personally remember the town park trip when she didn't want to get on the bus or want to join in with her peers but with care and encouragement she did and had the best time, and urban limits she took more encouragement but again had the best time and wanted to go again along with Rye attic adventure park. Also with all the activities she felt she had no friends in the setting, we supported her to feel confident enough to join in with T-shirt printing, sand bottles making, model making, plaster model making. I am sorry you feel you had one experience out of the 7 months you have been here that you didn't enjoy. I wish you both well and hope you find the Holiday club you are looking for which suits both of your needs. We will be refunding your money as you know we have already refunded the trip that sadly didn't go ahead due to bad weather.

I am absolutely thrilled with the progress my child has made. My daughter is bilingual and only spoke her mother tongue when she started and it's only been 2.5 months and her English is superb! I love the energy in the class teachers they are always smiley, friendly, welcoming, child friendly, caring,
loving, and supportive just everything you need in a nursery to leave your child with!

School is a good school to let your child into. My daughter was not very confident in herself. At the end of her stay at the nursery she has come out believing she can do great and everything. Would recommend.
