Akhter Early Learning Centre Nursery and Preschool provides childcare and education for children from three months to five years of age.

With a team of highly qualified and experienced staff, the nursery and preschool provides a variety of activities and experiences for children, allowing them to learn through play. The nursery also has outdoor areas where children can play throughout the year.

Meals are prepared and cooked every day by the nursery’s chef and the nursery encourages preschool children to be independent by preparing snacks, serving their own meals, and washing up. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

This is a good place for your child to be in. Both of our children are attending the nursery.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, they work very hard and invest time for our children learning. We can see the fruit of their hard work in our children's development. They are happy
and the older one sometimes doesn't want to come home.

My granddaughter attends the nursery and enjoys every day! There are always great activities and very friendly staff in the playroom. The reception staff are always welcoming and very helpful.

Very friendly and professional staff. Security in the nursery is also of a high standard with electronic door locks and a strict sign in and out for all the kids.
Receiving regular feedback on a daily basis and child's activity photos uploaded to the secure internet site is a great joy.

I believe that more could be done than is now. I think this nursery needs focus (in my opinion) on teaching early age children in a playing way like teaching them week days (so for example, introducing all kids every day before they start and say that today is Monday or introduce sitting pillows with
different colours so that you can tell the children to sit down on a yellow pillow for a certain child and other children on different colours, so you teach the children many things. Also, I believe that numbers, alphabet, shapes, maybe some animals like rabbits etc. would be nice for the kids to learn. Also, they need more time and space outside sometimes. It feels a little like being locked in the room.

The Room leader has spoken to you (mum) to remind her that the gardens, all 3 are used daily including the magic garden, children also go out on regular outings (mum was reminded as the children were still out when she came to collect recently). Also, all rooms have visible number lines, colours and shapes in which are used during group times (and other activities) along with the Alphabet letters which are used when they sit and sing the days of the week, months and chat about the weather and other child led activities/discussions.
