The Kindred Mayflower nursery team is passionate about sparking children’s imagination, creativity and curiosity.

This is why here at Kindred Mayflower they use natural and real life resources to enhance children’s imagination through play.

The nursery has five rooms and two outside garden spaces along with a free flow classroom.
Their gardens consist of soft grass play surfacing, built in sand pits, a track to ride bikes and cars and planting areas.

They are all about creating inspiring experiences and environments that are full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in.

Staff also understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful
relationships with parents so they never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of each and every one of their child’s developmental and learning moments.

I have a 3-year-old and 1-year-old that attend this facility 3 days a week. I couldn't feel more at ease at drop off time. From the staff in the office to the staff in each of the rooms, they are 100% engaging and enthusiastic. We have just received the latest report for our 3-year-old son and were
absolutely overwhelmed by how personal it was. The staff member clearly knew him inside out and picked up on his little traits. We both shed a tear and laughed at the same time reading it. It's just so nice to see that they have really taken the time to get to know him and he is really thriving in the environment that has been created there. My 1-year-old daughter has just started and being born during the lockdown has made it really difficult for her to build relationships with anyone outside our household. The staff have been nothing but understanding and patient and have really made an effort to settle her in as gently as possible to build her trust.

Brilliant nursery. Sent daughter here five years ago. There was no other contender for our son. Very caring and understanding of the kids and parents. Highly recommend.

My son has been attending Dizzy Ducks since June, he was 9-months-old when he started. All employees worked hard to make him feel comfortable and happy. Their support was fantastic and my son is flourishing. He often comes home with new skills/words/phrases and dance movements! I think the meals and
snacks served are healthy and the menus are very varied. Staff inform you regularly with how your child is doing, at each pick up they greet you with a smile and let you know how your child has been. We also appreciate the activities they put on for families to visit the nursery and join their child. The manager gives regular nursery updates through the newsletter and emails and all office staff are helpful.

My son attends part-time mornings at Dizzy Ducks Day Nursery Mayflower and has very quickly adapted to the new creche. They do some thematic activities for the baby group e.g Halloween, the three little pigs throughout a given week which he seems to enjoy. Food is prepared on-site and adapted for babies
and very mich to the taste of our baby son. It seems like a great place with a real pedagogical project.

My son started Pre-School at Dizzy Ducks Mayflower in January 2 mornings a week. My son absolutely loves going there and my husband and I feel so comfortable with the staff there. They’re all very professional along with being very caring towards the children. Every time I pick my son up they tell
me what he's been doing and I’ve seen that they do this with every child. I love that there is such a personal touch there and am extremely happy that we chose Dizzy Ducks.

As parents of a toddler who never wants to leave Dizzy Ducks, we think the nursery is just brilliant! Staff are professional, kind and caring all in one go. They are quick to respond, answer questions or provide reassurance if needed. We wouldn’t send our toddler anywhere else.

Dizzy Ducks is a wonderful nursery. Both of my children have gone to the nursery and they are well looked after and cared for. It’s a large but close-knit nursery, all the staff know all the children by name. The management are superb. The nursery itself is clean and well looked after. The children
are always engaged from being dropped off, right up to when they are picked up. I would highly recommend the nursery.

My Dizzy Ducks experience has been great. When my son started at 9 months in September 2018, their approach is what helped him settle in so well. I am always kept in the loop and they inform me of any changes in the room and to my son's development. I cannot thank the room leader enough as I feel comfortable
leaving my son in hers and her team's care.

My daughter has attended Dizzy Ducks Mayflower, since aged 10 months, returning to work and leaving children in the care of others is no easy choice for a mother to make, but I was instantly put at ease. The care and education, that the staff at Dizzy Ducks provide is outstanding. My daughter loves
going to nursery and I could not recommend them enough!
Keep up the great effort. Myself and my daughter will miss the nursery when she joins ‘big school’.

Over the past 6 months, in particular, the nursery has really pushed in all areas to a high standard ensuring both the children and carers are happy with every aspect of the nursery.


My daughter loves going in and seeing her friends and taking part in the activities. I feel very happy with the service

they provide. The gardens are 5 stars and the staff are always friendly. The range of food offered is great. The staff seem solid and in particular, in my daughter's room, I trust them all to give my daughter the best care.

Since the day my son started, he has been made to feel welcome and comfortable, he has loved going every day. It’s an excellent nursery with lovely staff who go out of their way to keep you updated on your child’s day and the new things they have learnt. Every day has different activities which are
well planned, educational and most importantly fun.
It’s a lovely nursery, which is clean and suitable for the children, the recent changes are really good. Overall it’s a fun and safe environment for my child and I’m grateful to all at Dizzy Ducks who have made leaving my child so much easier.

100% recommend Dizzy Ducks at Mayflower.
Both my children attend this nursery and I have never had a bad word to say about them since they started there September 2018.
The staff are all lovely, smiley, happy people who make both parents and children feel welcome and comfortable. Very happy with
the constant updates on both how my children are doing throughout their day and what's happening throughout the week when they are not there.

Hello, I'm Georgia, and I have worked in childcare since 2013.


I started at the age of 16 as an apprentice and soon completed my Level 2 and Level 3 in Early Years. I progressed further in my career into a Room Leader role and then stepped up into management, taking on the role of Deputy Manager and now Nursery Manager.


I have a passion for children's development by providing them with the best learning outcomes and building strong parent relationships. I also have a strong passion for welcoming new families into Kindred, ensuring both parents and children feel safe, comfortable and reassured.

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

Hi, I am Emma. I have worked in childcare since 2004. I started as a nursery practitioner and progressed to deputy nursery manager. I completed my Level 3 in college and have continued my professional development over the past couple of decades. I hold a Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language, and I am currently working towards my Level 3 SENCO qualification. I hope to complete my Level 5 in Childcare in the future.
I am passionate about working with children and helping them all to reach their full potential. I feel all children deserve the care and attention to feel safe, secure and happy. I am very inclusive within my practice, and I am passionate about being able to communicate on several levels hence why I worked independently towards my BSL qualifications. Thus, in turn means I am passionate about building relationships with the children and their parents/carers to endure that not only the children safe and secure, but the parents do too. I love to share our nursery with new families and want the nursery to be a happy and fun place for our children to learn and develop their own personalities.
